For me, I want this game to have a fun open world, that is as seamless as possible, we explore tattoine instead of doing a story mission, we get a surprise, a cut scene, some upgrade, something that ties into our role as an outlaw, a scoundrel of the galaxy, show the grey areas of being a scoundrel, not ending the game as a rebel fighter, spit on the empire, but giving us the choice to choose if we want to lean into that side, or no side at all, and all for ourselves, excited to see the story and where it takes us, definitely pre ordering this game! 😃💯
Hi guys. I agree with the quality over quantity sentiment. Ubisoft games tend to be fun for a bit but I can't remember actually finishing one. Maybe Odyssey primarily because I loved Cassandra so much. They just drag on so much. Another thing I hate about them is all the content and loot marked on the map. I'd much rather find content organically, by searching or maybe, I dunno... talking to people.
I just keep thinking about the video that Luke Stephens made around the time of Hogwarts Legacy talking about how to populate an open world to keep the player engaged. It was quite fascinating and I hope that the devs of Outlaws take that same sort of concept for their worlds.
I believe they will. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora's best trait is its open world. It's so immersive and filled to the brim with life and exploration for the player to get lost in. I played for 70 hours before I finished the story simply because I was so immersed in the world of Pandora, and it was so incredible to explore. If Outlaws is in any way similar, it will be incredible.
Those games you mentioned aren’t open world per se, they are considered open zone. They also have MetroidVania inspired design. Massive open worlds suck imo, games like Elden ring or TOTK are the only examples when it’s been done right.
I just want an immersive, detailed, and beautiful world to explore. I’ve been wanting an open world Star Wars game like this my whole life. Avatar gives me hope this game will be great. The world in Avatar is absolutely breathtaking and a new step for open world games. If this is the world design Ubisoft is going for now, I’m all in.
knowing Ubisoft the worlds will be beautiful and detailed they are really good at that. the issue might be meaningful content there is no point in it being beautiful if there is nothing worthwhile in it.
For me, the most important thing is the ship, I want it to feel special like the Ebon Hawk or Normandy SR-2, give us something to do on the ship besides alter gear and fly between planets. And if were gonna have some kind of crew/companions like ND-5 and maybe some others, they need to have personality and ability to interact with them outside of missions, like conversations on the ship, give me a sidequest like Mass Effect 2 loyalty missions, or have them guest on some missions like Uncharted 4.
Yes! There's nothing that makes a game like this feel empty as quickly as uninteractive ship crew is there! Even with Jedi Survivor which had potentially great characters and lots of room for Mass Effect style relationship building and character arcs, I always felt like I was trying to role play with a bunch of pixels - there was no opportunity to really interact.
There are three things I'm really wanting out of this game: 1. A good story, that's deep and interesting. 2. Good characters, no main character that never fails or is always right about what she chooses to do. 3. A good wanted system that fits with the Empire. We see at the end of the playthrough she has a wanted level, well that wanted level shouldn''t go away just because we avoid the Empire for a set period of time. And if the wanted level gets high enough it follows us to other planets, we shouldn't be able to get max wanted level on one planet and then suddenly it's at zero just because we flew to another planet. It's the same Empire on every planet, they're not going to suddenly forget that you're wanted.
Now that you mention it, I really want Assassins Creed Odyssey wanted system. If you get maxed out on your wanted system you have endless bounty hunters chasing you down from different regions and islands in the game. And i think they could implement that really well…. Oh and the only way to get rid of the bounty hunters is by paying them off.
Another thing would be great if we could create our own character roaming the star wars universe with different abilities and skills....That would be so awesome...

If you think about it, it's literally the first time in any Star Wars game, other than those where you could choose either sex and no I'm including that tact on single-player in Star Wars Battlefront 2.
@@jormungaurd Yes it is..And if you and some other players have been particularly wanting it than good for you guys..But I think most people wouldn't care about a female lead as most players are boys...Most players would want both options, premade male and female versions so we can choose...And creating your own character would also be another good option...I know you might say many of the games we have has only male lead..But as most players were boys it wasn't a problem... If any girls wanted to play Rdr2 as a female than they can sit and wish it as I am doing now😂
I don't know if this game has level scaling, but for ME open worlds are ruined to an extent by level scaled loot and enemies. I like when there are places I can't go because the enemies are hella powerful. I like when I can go to an 'advanced' place early with skillful play and get a unique item that isn't level scaled. I DESPISE scaling, ESPECIALLY when it comes to items. I don't know if this game will hae that stuff, but I hope not. It's so easy for me to not care about exploration if all I can look forward to is more loot scaled to my level and / or zillions of crafting ingredients that contribute to item bloat.
This game needs a lot of interaction it can’t just be shooting and stealing or it’s going to get boring fast have to slow it down and go RDR2 route needs to be grounded but the action needs to be rewarding and intense
When you mentioned the game getting you involved with the crime syndicates and exploring the lore I hope they do have a major focus on being a smuggler. In the Original Trilogy we here Han Solo having to drop Jabbas shipment due to him fearing of getting boarded by the Empire and then now in the games and TV shows like Rebels we see the Empire being able just to scan ships now from their ship to check for any contraband, so I hope they really brush up on that either if we have to fight our way through or try sneaking past and finding ways to get around the empire and avoiding them and seeing how we can upgrade our ships for better battle and maneuverability or even see some kind of cloaking or data scrambler. I'm just so curious on their approach and I can't wait to find out when this game gets released.
Speaking about credits, it would be cool too be able to buy new weapons, gadgets, food, tools, etc. All those things that are useful to complete missions. Also, being able to buy parts for the speeder like armor, guns, and upgrades would be excellent.

A little late here but honestly I had an idea when listening to your video. Not sure if this sounds fun, but what if one of the things you could spend your money on is making your own “syndicate” of sorts? Like you could pseudo-rival one of the local syndicates in like spice running or maybe even kyber smuggling (not sure the level of kyber available at this point in the timeline). Idk I thought it kinda sounded like Trevor in GTA V with his weapons smuggling and how he fights the biker gang. Would be pretty cool if you could hire out crews and ships to do runs, have a base of operations, and potentially have more than one “wanted” system (wanted system for empire and one for each of the syndicates that you antagonize). Might be a little ambitious but I think it sounds cool!
I want Exploration to be a big thing...to explore and discover new things like Easter Eggs and so on. overall I am excited. and Bugs and glitches will always happen no matter how polished a game is.
Awesome video lads. For me, growing up playing games such as Jedi Outcast , Jedi Academy and even Obi-Wan, mission select or mission replay has always been very important to me. I love going back and re-playing the missions I enjoyed most without having to re-play the entire game again for that one mission. Games these days are lacking that and it's a huge shame. Even manual saves would be awesome.
Something I just noticed is that the gameplay is in letterbox view as well. What if all of the peripheral HUD elements also moved into the black bars so that your gameplay becomes extra immersive? Would make for pretty a unique type of HUD as well!
I have quite a few things I would love to see in this game but one of them is the ship, I really hope we can actually go inside the ship, walk around, interact with things, customise both the interior and exterior all of it maybe even buy new ships, weapons, parts of vehicles. Another thing and call me a pshycopath but I would really like some-thing sort of like RDR2 or GTAV in terms of having lots of cool things we can do in the open world, have npc's be intractable and killable and also maybe even have a reputation system that isn't just based off of our story decisions but also our open world ones. For instance if we say steal a speeder, kill a civilian, start a bar fight or whatever it will change our character's reputation and depending on the outcome it also changes it, like for instance we might start a bar fight and then run away or lose and that will give a different one to if we won the fight. Maybe npc's react in different ways to us based on our decisions. I know its all wishful thinking but you never know. Also to address the credit system I hope there are tons of things to buy with the credits we earn and maybe we can choose to buy businesses or plots of land and do what we want with them. The possibilities are endless and I really hope this game delivers
This may seem lame but I like open world games where the NPC's seem like they live their lives outside of me (the main character). Walking by to see people fighting or a kid crying or some weirdo singing. Just doing things that people do without you, the main character, having to intervene. Something I agree with is being able to ACTUALLY use your earned credits on things and not just collecting them for the sake of it. Getting upgrades for the ship, ship cosmetics, character cosmetics, better weapons, better weapons for my companion, cosmetics for the robot and so on. And I wouldn't mind doing missions with my robot friend to get to know him better. Or maybe have a mission of his own where you have the option to accomplish his personal mission or not and it has the ability to make the bond between you two stronger. Actions having consequences is always nice to see. So I would love there to be different outcomes and different endings for all the choices I make. I hate when you make a different choice and the conclusion is basically the same with different wording. Let there be real reactions to my decisions and long term consequences.
I just wonder, and I feel this video did not answer this... but how "open world" is Open World? I see a lot of speeders on paths. Will I be able to stop and just walk over the hill and explore some random valley, find a village, maybe see a person who needs help... side mission stuff? Maybe just find a crashed ship and pillage it? Perhaps stumble into another fight and I save someone from death, then they owe me a favor, etc...
I cannot do another narrative driven semi open world Star Wars game. The only things that will bring me into the fold is a character creation which the game doesn't have so. Decade later still no really good star wars games.
I think what you will be doing with the credits is if you get into a space dogfight you have to repair your ship with the credits from the dogfight and the more you are wanted the more you have to repair the ship. And maybe someone will turn on you and say I want those credits and then you have to steal them back to repair your ship or somethin like that
already have it on my wish list but I'd have to wait a day or two before actually buying the thing. play it on performance mode then just replay it later on higher specs mode.
Hopefully you collecting all them credits lead to something beneficial like upgrading ur gun to one shot enemies an ur ship to the point where u take no damage an some ships are like flys to you an that you get way cooler gadgets that comes in handy or like maybe a armor set or a Mandalorian suit who knows anything is possible u can even get a lightsaber 😂
Btw. I know this is not the right place for it but since the author talks so much and long about Starfield, it gets me thinking - I've expected all these planets in the game are more like potential playgrounds for modders to make their own world. It runs on the same old engine as previous games so I am expecting unofficial Star Wars planet, maybe Mass Effect, Warhammer... Star-Skyrim planet. Or at least I hope for it, this would be my reason for buying. And I am pretty sure I am not the only one.
If we're supposed to be a blank slate with no ties to any organization and no loyalties to anyone but ourselves snd our ship. Then I should be allowed to work for the Empire hopefully.
I kinda wondering how it will play with minimal requirements. I play new world and step away from questline a lot to explore and craft, I hope this game has the mechanics for that too. Going into space seems like it might be a level requirement too.
I think the best thing they could do As it comes to quality over quantity. Start off with your base planets with lots to do but instead of making an enormous amount of Empty planets, they should, maybe released a new planet system with each dlc or update. but definitely give you something to do with all the money.
Lol guys i think y'all are going to be let down with these high expectations from Ubisoft. Just look at that Avatar game they just released. Great eye candy but kinda shallow on gameplay. Or what about the soon to be released Skull and Bones which i would love to be good but everything shown so far doesn't look any better than Black Flags ship combat plus you can't walk around on your ship, no sword fights, no "pirate" progression. Probably going to tank badly. As much as I hope I'm wrong. As a Star Wars fan I really want this to be good and I think it will be decent but not standout. The Ubisoft of today isn't known for quality as much as quantity.

I mostly just want deep relationships with the characters around me and a feeling of impacting the world around me. Star Wars is about family and fate after all. Like Jedi Survivor felt really empty to me because I didn't have agency to form relationships or talk to people about anything important outside of cut scenes. And the whole thing felt kind of futile coz enemies just respawned (in a weird choice of a Dark Souls mechanic but with no soul) and it felt like I had no impact. I would love, in this game, to really feel like a scoundrel, to feel motivated by circumstance, to struggle to survive, and then feel compelled to form bonds and make weighty decisions and carve out an epic little story in a little corner of this vast empire. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Implementing GTA and Witcher style open world would work so well. Open world locations. Don't need empty areas to increase size of a world. Witcher with large scale hub like worlds show the scale you can have without having just one large map but several.
Maybe we can use the credits to buy fun wraps ships weapons outfits maybe try purchase a syndicate buy a droid refill grenades ammo upgrade ships weapons 😊
Open world is hugely important. Probably the primary thing. Besides you know the gameplay and such. And the glitches and such. But I certainly hope there's some Jedi or at least lightsaber involved. I just don't think Star Wars is is as fun without using force abilities and lightsabers and the mystical force like in movies. For example we have some of those movies. Really had nothing to do with the Jedi or the sith and that makes it really boring and dull. But you know there are fans out there that although rare would rather not have Jedi stuff and stuff. But in my opinion you have to have some sort of force thing going on
Lower your expectations. Remember, there is a certain principal philosophy in Disney Star Wars. That philosophy is not to make good characters or a great story or expand the universe. That philosophy begins with “put a chick in it”.
To me I see Jedi Survivor in the main engine and scenery, the buildings and inside layout with characters, the ship, etc. The flight of StarLink or other similar outer space games. It seems like they’ve combined a lot of the best singular game styles and brought them together. It’s looking fun and I’m so happy it’s not going to be parkour based. I’m sick of parkour games, because they don’t have any real fun in the games. The parkour is masking an empty shell. Anyways I just hope this game is actually what they claim: open world and I hope it’s not like Jedi Survivor because that game was a puzzle solver / hack and slash. Not fun at all. I was always hoping for the fun to start and then the game ended. Star Wars fans never get the games we deserve.

I would be so happy if it was The Division 3: Star Wars... PLEASE, without ultra-super-vast-huge map nobody wants, nobody cares and is visually nice but in fact just wasteland. If Ubisoft hire someone to actually write quests, I won't be against (just not AC RPGs quests again, please, listening to 1000× the same and doing the same quest over and over was like slowly dying). But since Ubisoft dialogues are traditionally awkward and like for 6 years old and dysfunctional... please, without talking. Meaningful and mature conversations are not the strengths of... basically any major studio.-So if talking, lets keep it quick and ideally in non-basic language. You know... lets only mechanical droids and races like Toydarian or Hutts talk. Or prepare few necessary dialogues like in Division - and make it Division Star Wars! This I pray for but don't actually believe in. I don't want to have any hopes and expect another big studio tragedy-instead-of-game. It's Ubisoft, of course it would be terrible. But from the bright side, it might be actually better than new Disney trilogy. Yay!

I know its good not to draw attention to yourself, but id love to upgrade the ship or change ships. While legacy planets are ok, I am more than ready for something different. Take us to kashyyk or so many others that we havent seen yet. Let your imagination run wild and draw inspiration from various eu sources. bring them to life Sadly with this being a shooter or focused on that, its going to be tough for me since I struggle with shooters on console. Im really searching for a quality space game. After that a quality submarine game. Then a good single player game that I can also play with friend if I want to, but not forced into working with others. Games without the woke nonsense and bs of BG3
Ubisoft needs to step up their writing and level design. They need to look at well written shows like Andor and learn from that, look at the best movies and other well written games like Witcher 3 or Last of us. The last Ubisoft game that was well written was Black flag, that’s why I’m skeptical. We need real cinematic elements. That’s the kind of game it needs to be.

I want a character who's likable but has issues and flaws and goes through hardship and struggles and gets beat down and back up again. The more I see about Star Wars Outlaws the more I want it. Then I think of Ubisoft making it and I instantly get depressed... You just know it's going to be filled with brain dead collectible/points of interest/bazillion chests/skill point hunting/towers map fog removing TRASH

It's so easy for me to not care about exploration if all I can look forward to is more loot scaled to my level and / or zillions of crafting ingredients that contribute to item bloat.
This game needs a lot of interaction it can’t just be shooting and stealing or it’s going to get boring fast have to slow it down and go RDR2 route needs to be grounded but the action needs to be rewarding and intense
A Pazaak mini-game would be nice to have.

When you mentioned the game getting you involved with the crime syndicates and exploring the lore I hope they do have a major focus on being a smuggler. In the Original Trilogy we here Han Solo having to drop Jabbas shipment due to him fearing of getting boarded by the Empire and then now in the games and TV shows like Rebels we see the Empire being able just to scan ships now from their ship to check for any contraband, so I hope they really brush up on that either if we have to fight our way through or try sneaking past and finding ways to get around the empire and avoiding them and seeing how we can upgrade our ships for better battle and maneuverability or even see some kind of cloaking or data scrambler. I'm just so curious on their approach and I can't wait to find out when this game gets released.
Speaking about credits, it would be cool too be able to buy new weapons, gadgets, food, tools, etc. All those things that are useful to complete missions. Also, being able to buy parts for the speeder like armor, guns, and upgrades would be excellent.

A little late here but honestly I had an idea when listening to your video. Not sure if this sounds fun, but what if one of the things you could spend your money on is making your own “syndicate” of sorts? Like you could pseudo-rival one of the local syndicates in like spice running or maybe even kyber smuggling (not sure the level of kyber available at this point in the timeline). Idk I thought it kinda sounded like Trevor in GTA V with his weapons smuggling and how he fights the biker gang. Would be pretty cool if you could hire out crews and ships to do runs, have a base of operations, and potentially have more than one “wanted” system (wanted system for empire and one for each of the syndicates that you antagonize). Might be a little ambitious but I think it sounds cool!

I want Exploration to be a big thing...to explore and discover new things like Easter Eggs and so on. overall I am excited. and Bugs and glitches will always happen no matter how polished a game is.

For me, growing up playing games such as Jedi Outcast , Jedi Academy and even Obi-Wan, mission select or mission replay has always been very important to me. I love going back and re-playing the missions I enjoyed most without having to re-play the entire game again for that one mission. Games these days are lacking that and it's a huge shame. Even manual saves would be awesome.
Something I just noticed is that the gameplay is in letterbox view as well. What if all of the peripheral HUD elements also moved into the black bars so that your gameplay becomes extra immersive? Would make for pretty a unique type of HUD as well!

I have quite a few things I would love to see in this game but one of them is the ship, I really hope we can actually go inside the ship, walk around, interact with things, customise both the interior and exterior all of it maybe even buy new ships, weapons, parts of vehicles.
Another thing and call me a pshycopath but I would really like some-thing sort of like RDR2 or GTAV in terms of having lots of cool things we can do in the open world, have npc's be intractable and killable and also maybe even have a reputation system that isn't just based off of our story decisions but also our open world ones. For instance if we say steal a speeder, kill a civilian, start a bar fight or whatever it will change our character's reputation and depending on the outcome it also changes it, like for instance we might start a bar fight and then run away or lose and that will give a different one to if we won the fight. Maybe npc's react in different ways to us based on our decisions.
I know its all wishful thinking but you never know. Also to address the credit system I hope there are tons of things to buy with the credits we earn and maybe we can choose to buy businesses or plots of land and do what we want with them. The possibilities are endless and I really hope this game delivers

Star Wars Galaxies was open world, each planet was open in every direction, I feel devs saying this is the "first" is misleading at best.
This may seem lame but I like open world games where the NPC's seem like they live their lives outside of me (the main character). Walking by to see people fighting or a kid crying or some weirdo singing. Just doing things that people do without you, the main character, having to intervene.
Something I agree with is being able to ACTUALLY use your earned credits on things and not just collecting them for the sake of it. Getting upgrades for the ship, ship cosmetics, character cosmetics, better weapons, better weapons for my companion, cosmetics for the robot and so on. And I wouldn't mind doing missions with my robot friend to get to know him better. Or maybe have a mission of his own where you have the option to accomplish his personal mission or not and it has the ability to make the bond between you two stronger.
Actions having consequences is always nice to see. So I would love there to be different outcomes and different endings for all the choices I make. I hate when you make a different choice and the conclusion is basically the same with different wording. Let there be real reactions to my decisions and long term consequences.
I really dont need another starwars product with a cute creature or little cute droid. Its over done.
I just wonder, and I feel this video did not answer this... but how "open world" is Open World? I see a lot of speeders on paths. Will I be able to stop and just walk over the hill and explore some random valley, find a village, maybe see a person who needs help... side mission stuff? Maybe just find a crashed ship and pillage it? Perhaps stumble into another fight and I save someone from death, then they owe me a favor, etc...
I hope this game feels like Andor the game. That show is so gritty and realistic.

I cannot do another narrative driven semi open world Star Wars game. The only things that will bring me into the fold is a character creation which the game doesn't have so. Decade later still no really good star wars games.
I think what you will be doing with the credits is if you get into a space dogfight you have to repair your ship with the credits from the dogfight and the more you are wanted the more you have to repair the ship. And maybe someone will turn on you and say I want those credits and then you have to steal them back to repair your ship or somethin like that
already have it on my wish list but I'd have to wait a day or two before actually buying the thing. play it on performance mode then just replay it later on higher specs mode.
Hopefully you collecting all them credits lead to something beneficial like upgrading ur gun to one shot enemies an ur ship to the point where u take no damage an some ships are like flys to you an that you get way cooler gadgets that comes in handy or like maybe a armor set or a Mandalorian suit who knows anything is possible u can even get a lightsaber 😂

Btw. I know this is not the right place for it but since the author talks so much and long about Starfield, it gets me thinking - I've expected all these planets in the game are more like potential playgrounds for modders to make their own world. It runs on the same old engine as previous games so I am expecting unofficial Star Wars planet, maybe Mass Effect, Warhammer... Star-Skyrim planet. Or at least I hope for it, this would be my reason for buying. And I am pretty sure I am not the only one.
If we're supposed to be a blank slate with no ties to any organization and no loyalties to anyone but ourselves snd our ship. Then I should be allowed to work for the Empire hopefully.
I kinda wondering how it will play with minimal requirements. I play new world and step away from questline a lot to explore and craft, I hope this game has the mechanics for that too. Going into space seems like it might be a level requirement too.

Empty planets, they should, maybe released a new planet system with each dlc or update. but definitely give you something to do with all the money.

Lol guys i think y'all are going to be let down with these high expectations from Ubisoft. Just look at that Avatar game they just released. Great eye candy but kinda shallow on gameplay. Or what about the soon to be released Skull and Bones which i would love to be good but everything shown so far doesn't look any better than Black Flags ship combat plus you can't walk around on your ship, no sword fights, no "pirate" progression. Probably going to tank badly. As much as I hope I'm wrong.
As a Star Wars fan I really want this to be good and I think it will be decent but not standout. The Ubisoft of today isn't known for quality as much as quantity.

This game almost became the dream open world Star Wars game I’ve wanted with the wanted system and open world and stuff, if it wasn’t so Kennedy 😆, because I reckon if you do a Star Wars open world, people really want to customise their character, make themselves in the Star Wars universe, and even add cool races, because it would be cool to be a Rodian outlaw like Greedo, or whatever his name was, like it wasn’t a good idea to strictly put the character as just a female, since Kathleen Kennedy is leading her stupid campaign of women power in Star Wars, nobody wants that :p we want to be who we want to be in Star Wars

The only thing the game need, is an immersive open world Star Wars experience. We all know that Ubisoft, can both make good and bad games. The only thing we know is, that the game is gonna immersive as all Ubisoft games made before. year maybe some of them were bad, but i does not matter with a Star Wars open world game. because its a open world Star Wars game. therefore Ubisoft without a doubt going to make a lot of money. both Star Wars fans and nnot, have been waiting for a long time for a open world game set in the Star Wars universe.
we all know about Jedi survivors launch. it was teribble. but it still made a lot of money, because it was a Star Wars game. because there rarely comes out new Star Wars games. so people just take what they can get.

I mostly just want deep relationships with the characters around me and a feeling of impacting the world around me. Star Wars is about family and fate after all.
Like Jedi Survivor felt really empty to me because I didn't have agency to form relationships or talk to people about anything important outside of cut scenes. And the whole thing felt kind of futile coz enemies just respawned (in a weird choice of a Dark Souls mechanic but with no soul) and it felt like I had no impact. I would love, in this game, to really feel like a scoundrel, to feel motivated by circumstance, to struggle to survive, and then feel compelled to form bonds and make weighty decisions and carve out an epic little story in a little corner of this vast empire. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Implementing GTA and Witcher style open world would work so well. Open world locations. Don't need empty areas to increase size of a world. Witcher with large scale hub like worlds show the scale you can have without having just one large map but several.
I just hope i dont have to deal with tier systems like in the last few assassin's creed games.
Maybe we can use the credits to buy fun wraps ships weapons outfits maybe try purchase a syndicate buy a droid refill grenades ammo upgrade ships weapons 😊
Open world is hugely important. Probably the primary thing. Besides you know the gameplay and such. And the glitches and such. But I certainly hope there's some Jedi or at least lightsaber involved. I just don't think Star Wars is is as fun without using force abilities and lightsabers and the mystical force like in movies. For example we have some of those movies. Really had nothing to do with the Jedi or the sith and that makes it really boring and dull. But you know there are fans out there that although rare would rather not have Jedi stuff and stuff. But in my opinion you have to have some sort of force thing going on

To me I see Jedi Survivor in the main engine and scenery, the buildings and inside layout with characters, the ship, etc. The flight of StarLink or other similar outer space games. It seems like they’ve combined a lot of the best singular game styles and brought them together. It’s looking fun and I’m so happy it’s not going to be parkour based. I’m sick of parkour games, because they don’t have any real fun in the games. The parkour is masking an empty shell. Anyways I just hope this game is actually what they claim: open world and I hope it’s not like Jedi Survivor because that game was a puzzle solver / hack and slash. Not fun at all. I was always hoping for the fun to start and then the game ended. Star Wars fans never get the games we deserve.

I would be so happy if it was The Division 3: Star Wars... PLEASE, without ultra-super-vast-huge map nobody wants, nobody cares and is visually nice but in fact just wasteland. If Ubisoft hire someone to actually write quests, I won't be against (just not AC RPGs quests again, please, listening to 1000× the same and doing the same quest over and over was like slowly dying). But since Ubisoft dialogues are traditionally awkward and like for 6 years old and dysfunctional... please, without talking. Meaningful and mature conversations are not the strengths of... basically any major studio.-So if talking, lets keep it quick and ideally in non-basic language. You know... lets only mechanical droids and races like Toydarian or Hutts talk. Or prepare few necessary dialogues like in Division - and make it Division Star Wars!
This I pray for but don't actually believe in. I don't want to have any hopes and expect another big studio tragedy-instead-of-game. It's Ubisoft, of course it would be terrible. But from the bright side, it might be actually better than new Disney trilogy. Yay!

Ubisoft needs to step up their writing and level design. They need to look at well written shows like Andor and learn from that, look at the best movies and other well written games like Witcher 3 or Last of us. The last Ubisoft game that was well written was Black flag, that’s why I’m skeptical. We need real cinematic elements. That’s the kind of game it needs to be.
