Is it possible to use objects/blocks (3D geometry) that you previously created for balusters? The geometry probably wont be customizable, but if you have a shape that you are satisfied, then its ok :-) Can you make an egsample maybe? Thank you
Nice tuto! Visualarq looks so powerfull, bit in your opinion whats the best GH-BIM worflow? Revit inside? Archicad connection? Geometry Gym? Visaularq?
To be honest, none of them are perfect yet. I think that Rhino Inside Revit can be a game changer here, but there is still lots of development to be done. I like VisualArq for the simple reason that you don't have to convert anything, you can work on a BIM project directly in Rhino, but I also think that there are a lot of areas for improvement and we'll have to wait and see how it goes in the new VisualArq 3 version :)
Hi, I have just signed up on patreon, and paid 2 dollars as a student. But when I tried to log in to get the project files, it shows that my account has been disabled. It was totally an error, I didn't do anything on my account, I have just signed up several minutes ago. Please tell me how to solve this problem, thank you! By the way, can I get the project files as an students' account, I just paid 2 dollars,I not sure whether I can get the project files in your youtube videos.
Hi Franklin, Thank you for becoming our Patreon! On our Patreon page you have clear description of what each tier option gives you access to. If you're interested in the project files, you can choose 5$ option. That gives you access to all our project files. 15$ option gives you access to all our extended tutorials that are only available on Patreon and the option of $2 is just a symbolic support for us. Thanks for the great video! That doesn´t work for me though: ua-cam.com/video/6HpJUvfn7DI/v-deo.html When I bake the Style in Grasshopper, it does NOT appear in Rhino. Baking the style doesn´t seem to have any effect at all. So I cannot apply the newly created style in the Rhino object properties. What could be the issue here?
Bit ridiculous that you cant set a defined Post distance throughout the railing to have multiple post. No way a railing can only support itself up that ramp with just a rail and balusters
