Hi, I am new to your channel. So excited about water color. Back in the 80's I took a few classes on oil painting. Loved it! But always wanted to try water color. Years later now I am going to be 63 and have been watching your videos a lot of learning. I think I've purchased a small amount of things to start from Hobby lobby at 50% off, now I can maybe start. I am disabled and was looking for something enjoyable to do. You make it look so easy. I also watched the one with your mom. She done really good! And it encouraged me. Will try to do this picture you done in this video soon. I also love the flowers you have done.

Can I just say I appreciate that this tutorial isn't in nitro speed ❤❤❤ - I picked up watercolors over quarantine and at first it was so hard to catch on to some tutorials because I know channels do real time as a members perk so I subbed to one to get that, but when I did it it's a 50m video packed into 12m. With that said it's so difficult to keep up and I usually end up muting videos and turning them down to like .10 or .25 speed just so I can actually follow along otherwise I end up rewinding to certain parts like 11 times.

Not sure what she uses, but I use blue painters tape from amazon, it doesn't stick as much and doesn't peel off any paper, i used to use masking tape and it often peeled off some paper. Hope that helps..
I get mine from the dollar store! Just cheap painters tape

Lovely, winter scenes. Amazing that you sometimes 'just wing it' yet composition really works out well. Nice tip adding a bit of blue to snow in night time scene. How do you know how much water to use to blend sky colors without blooming or becoming muddy?
