IMO, Meghan Markle was a forgettable and easy replaced role in a B sitcom. In these type shows there is always a casted role, weather a male or female, that will stab you in the back, sleep with whomever will promote you, and has an issue with control / two-faced / vindictive. Asian father + black mother = mixed race offspring and so on and so forth. Occam's razor don't make things more complicated than they need to be.
