This video is about the All New Wanderer Windshield from carbon Racing for The Royal Enfield Classic 350. I will be Unboxing, Installing & Reviewing the windshield.
Windshield generally adds to the stability of the Bike and also the Rider as well, making the rider avoid all the wind blast while Riding. This plays a great role in making the motorcycle rider less fatigued.
Wanderer Windshield is something i have been waiting for a long time, i always wanted to make my bike move with less wind blast and also add a classic touch to my motorcycle. This windshield does it all, protects to a great extent from Wind Blast and Also looks very cool on the motorcycle.

Just need your expertise here.
1. I have a standard 500 carb version. hardly touches 120, prolly the aero dynamics of the windshield will help me to achieve at least 110 ? i am 5.11.
2. Is it advisable to install a Himalayan handle bar with carbon racing handle bar raisers to achieve better comfort /riding posture to cruise for long dist/ long hours with minimal breaks , compared to the existing factory handle bar
Ps: tried installing RD handlebar and removed, turning radius is affected along with the looks .
3. Contemplating in buying an Interceptor, either a new or pre owned . Will it be a good decision? as i already own a 500. Just 150cc more, of course cant be compared with //lel twins. Need a solid cruising speed of 120kmph all day long sans any strain on body & engine , thinking of TRK 502 benelli (tough on the financial side ) and Interceptor or wait till the concept SG-650 cruiser comes to production ( already seeing the spied images ,i have personally seen the original production test mules on road in OMR as well !)
4. Wanted to sell my 500 and then upgrade to next, had a lot inhibitions to do this as mine would be a unique vintage in years to come cos its carburetor 500(not available anymore ) ,also rare to see my color on chennai and pan india ( marsh grey) . Asking this with you because youre the only UA-camr as far as ive come across also who's in chennai in retaining both REs. Bored of riding RE at slow pace and its recurring issues etc(still our bikes are our babies though :)) again upgrading to other one makes me think twice , but budget constraint & want to think optimistic on the //lel twins.

Hey, Great video on installation. I have a query though- For a rider of height 5'8" will it create wind noise as the wind would gush through the top of helmet say at a speed of 80kmph?

Thanks for the comments. There won't be any extra noise with this windshield attached than without it. If you have noise chin pad on you're helmet , then u won't feel any wind noise. If you're asking for Mounting action cam on you're helmet...then I can say that I didn't face any issue with it while mounting on my helmet. This windshield will protect you till you're nose level

I am definitely going to order one for myself. I am also looking for a good handlebar to go along with it (something that is strong, heavy, and also reduces the vibrations). If you have any suggestions for handlebars, please let me know. Keep rocking, and keep riding man!
Thanks Bro. If you're ok with Black colour handlebars. Then try Art Of Motorcycles Handlebar. I got one for my Interceptor. They are really v good. They also have one for classic...you can visit their website and order.
@@RoshanSridhar Thank you very much! The Art of motorcycles handlebar seems to be perfect for my motorcycle (I like it way more than the other ones and it also does not seem to hide the instrument cluster like the HD handlebar). I will order one.
I need two more suggestions bro, after that I will not trouble you (at least for now lol).
1) Do you know of a good pair of road legal yellow halogen fog lamps for the classic (which are not too taxing on the batteries)? I am not a fan of LEDs since I like to keep the classic retro and also care for on-coming traffic. If its for another modern bike, I would go with the LED lights on your channel)
2) I need a good electrician in Chennai to check all of my wiring and replace damaged ones/make it proper and insulated. I gave my motorcycle to a jugaad mechanic (I should have done more research) who also sold accessories near my workplace (which was a big mistake on my part) to install the hazard light chip, a bolt on tachometer and some other things, and let's just say that he is a fan of the wire stripper + duct tape wiring (and there's no protection from back current in any form). Because of this, I am afraid to take the motorcycle out during rains fearing failure of the wiring system.

I will check on the halogen fog lights..but leds are better efficient on the battery, have better visibilty in darkness compared to Halogen... Lasts for years...Halogen bulba typically last for a couple of years. Plus with the filter I have shown in the led video...u can use the yellow filter to make them light yellow in colour. Leds cut through fog well too... anyway I will see if there is any option.
2) hmm I gave in the royal Enfield service center for the same purpouse and they charged me 1.5 k for checking the entire wiring...else you can try premium bike center which I have mentioned in my led video. The owner himself is a avid biker and owns a bike club...or jab bullet at mount road is a great place to visit too

Yes sir handle is electra's . It's a bit taller than classic , so more comfortable to.ride for me. Windshield also provides adequate protection from the stock set-up

Yeah I got the vibration Kit as complimentary while placing my order. I have been using the windshield for close to 4 months. I dnt see any visible scratches as yet.

If you're planning to record video...then it won't be clear...For jus humar vision, this seems ok. But even sitting on a low rider seat, I dnt see through the windshield. My eye levels are always above

Soman this did not affect any mileage . It's available for Bullet Standard as well. You can go to thier website and order the windshield for Bullet Standard.
Don't you feel wind buffeting on your face i have felt so it should be bigger than carbon is providing.
I am using low rider seat which reduces 5-6 cms more than the stock seat . So buffeting is not much for me.. I am 5'10

Yes bro...when you place order. Choose bike type option with whatever bike you have. They will deliver the correct mounts for your bike. You can msg them in instagram or fb too. They will reply if you have any doubt. They have specific mounts for Himalayan too. The windshield is tall and sturdy too

Hey bro, It would surely be better in thunderbird than In classic 350 as thunderbird already has a higher front . Adding the windshield will surely give you more Protection from Wind Blast. If not anything else, this will give you better wind protection than you're stock naked bike. You can surely go for it. It's a no brainer. Cheers . Happy Riding

Bro I dnt think so. Most of the things would be same...but only the clamp which I have attached on my headlight side will be missing in yours .....rest all wll be same..u can try requesting carbon racing for sending that alone if possible

No bro there is no colour change in it. ...it's sturdy enough...mild scratches have come...but negligible

From RE showroom. Costed 1800. This seat is similar to meteor 350 with less cushion. It gives cruiser riding style. You feel a bit when u bad patches of road and potholes. Rest it's v good
Bro, you should have gone for avenger windshield, price is too low as compared to this, maybe it is made of different fiber but the quality of avenger is also good
The fittings are not proper for classic 350. My friend already tried it. I liked this design better than avenger windshield.. it's a bit wider too .. Original Bajaj avenger windshield costs more than 2000rs... This is 1499.....so cheaper too...Cheers...Happy Riding😊

Well I’m so keen to get low rider seat but I’m bit confused about it due to mix comments, even Royal Enfield 🏍 are not producing anymore..
I will tell u the reasons why I purchased ..I purchased an Interceptor 650 ,so I thought I could change the feel of my classic 350 bcos that was not gng to be used as my primary bike anymore. I didn't need the Pillon seat too. And I always like cruiser styled bikes with low seat, windshield and high handlebars. So I did all three of that. Gor RE's electra handle bar installed which is slightly taller than Classic's and got their low rider seat too. Windshield I got.from Carbon Racing as it was only 1499 as compared to.7500 which RE's windshield costed. Coming to the seat. As low rider seat does not have any spring at the bottom, so u do feel.the nasty bumps when u encounter one. This is not a problem of.this particular seat alone. All Low rider seat based Motorcycles have the same issue. Even the Harley Street 750s seat gives u tailbone pain if u ride on potholes etc. This is the main problem u have to live with wrt low rider seats mostly . Coming to the positive things. My whole riding style has changed. It feels like an cruiser. ,Foot peg position is slightly forward now, handlebars holding position is more relaxed and upright now. You sit back more.relaxed and the low seat height leads to.easy footing on the ground. I did all this bcos it had become my secondary bike. And as I mostly used genuine RE parts i can always go back to the stock setup anytime. There are other low rider seat options available from Rajputana customs (expensive) and From JD customs(good for the cost) which also allow Pillon seat attachment...do check it out. REs Seat is inexpensive...1900i guess..so I dnt feel it a waste of money at all. If u have extra 2k in ur hand and if u get.the seat ...you can try it surely.

Depends on your height too bro , my height is 5'10 . Earlier without windshield I would get windblast all over my body. Now entire cheat area seems well protected. I get medium level buffeting on my face. . But it does the job well. This is the best practical design available in the market right now

Yes it's v much functional. Windshield's height to body ratio depends on each one's height. I am 5'10. And it does a good job in deflecting wind.
What about 5.4 guy. I'm planning to install it on my classic 500
It will protect 5'4 person better than me .I am 5'10. I have low rider seat so I get protected better as seat is low. If u have stock seat. You will get air flow above your neck

Bro i have heard carbon racing service is poor even the team is not good, saw review which are worst, how was ur experience?
For me the main Concern is with the product which am getting, and their products have been very good from what I have purchased. Secondly the delay in them shipping the windshield was due to the covid lockdown which hampered with their manufacturing plans. They seem to not have many people for customer support alone. I think this is ok considering the good product you get. This would have been a learning curve for them too as the windshield orders were massive. Surely they ll improve. Let's give them some room...I hardly see any Indian Manufacturers making good products. So I feel we should support them. You can always check if the item you're ordering is in stock and then place order...This is not a sponsored video or post bro😂 I purchased it with my own money , so what I said are my own views..Cheers...Hapy Riding😊

No bro, it won't hide. You can see through it most of the time. You're angle of viewing won't be through the windshield most of the times.... So it won't be a problem. Smoked windshield won't be a problem.
Hello people. I've ordered and received the same windshield for himalayan. Let me inform you that the windshield will not accomodate the knuckle guards from Royal Enfield. As a matter of fact, it will not accomodate any knuckle guard from any company. The company Carbon Racing claims that their windshield supports the original Himalayan handle bar and knuckle guard, but it doesn't.
I would inform you that the company has falsely claimed that it fits with the above mentioned set-up, but it doesn't. So whoever has a RE Himalayan, and has knuckle guards, do not buy this windshield. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THIS WINDSHIELD IF YOU ARE USING STOCK HANDLE BAR ALONG WITH ORIGINAL/AFTERMARKET KNUCKLE GUARDS.
Mr. Yash. I got to know that you were just requested to discuss the matter in personal chat so that a solution can be found to whatever problem you were claiming, but heard that in spite of multiple requests, you started posting the same thin in all the posts rather than just having a chat with the team, so they had to stop you doing thath. Later when you messaged on Instagram personally, you were offered a full refund against returns and they also said to you " We will make sure you are at no loss in this transaction". But still you opted to comment everywhere? As a business what else Carbon Racing can do now? You always tried to initiate one way talks in all public domains and only tried to defame a business. Why did'nt you acept the refund offer when they are telling that they will make sure you have no loss at all? It beats me why only you want them at loss when someone is telling you that they will cover your expenses made. SOmething fishy here right?

Thanks for sharing you experience, I ride classic 500 and it vibrates like anything one concern is durability of the product (Would it take take much vibration without cracking) and could you please share picture of fitment (Basically want to see the screw which is holding the shield with light - does it has any rubber protection as that is the most sensitive are that could brake on vibration)
