The minute the sax hit I was like "well this is my favorite song now"
omg exactly
I wasn't sure about this song the first time I heard it....or the tenth time I heard it. Now I can't get enough of it!!! I need to hear more!!
Saxophones are criminally underused in Music these days, this song is solid proof we need more
With a capital M
oh god. Saxophone owns it.
Eddie and the Cruisers 😎
@@Dendy5nnnn Well, before them Heart of Rock and Roll, which is also from earlier stuff...the Music just keeps getting better, and Jack is leading the way...
You must only listen to white music lol
My entire house (me, wife, 3 kids) have had this on repeat at home and in the car for four days straight. This is the first time a song has done this to us collectively. It's so fun, so amazing will be a special song for us FOREVER. Thank you Bleachers
This is SO SWEET, thank you for sharing!! :’) 🤗 💓
Me too, it’s me and my 4 girls cutting rugs after dinner time
You guys are a great family!
Aw, im so glad your family enjoys modern girls shaking their ass tonight! 😊
It’s happened a couple of times in my family, over the last 35+ years. My grown ass son set me on fire for Bleachers and my daughter introduced me to Jack as a musical/lyrical genius, during the pandemic. My daughter (also a grown ass adult) bought us tickets the see Bleachers for Christmas 2023. I waited patiently until May 2024. What a performance! What a weekend for us!
This 57 year old Yia Yia loves the nostalgia and the freshness of this band❤
I am here for all of it!
Thanks for some amazing memories❤
tour is being planned - what venues and cities you love and are special to you?
SLC!
please somewhere in kentucky i am begging
Shepherd’s Bush again!!
Dallas Dallas Dallas - love House of Blues but will absolutely do Southside Ballroom or The Studio at the Factory, I’ll take what I can get
PRYZM - Kingston xx
So underrated. First song I’ve heard in years that actually sounds like a song from the 80s. can’t stop listening.
listen to castlebeat looking for somthing
Its production doesn't sound 80's
give Ghost a listen, they are very 80s
Ditto
Huey Lewis meets Bowie with some we didn’t start the fire chants.
Gosh, i just needed this one song to remind myself that life isn't always about struggling but also includes moments of pure joy. Thank You, guys! Wish all the people down here a great autumn!
♥️♥️
Same here dude
Yeah it has been on repeat since 2k views. What a great song they made. We need more of this then life would be easy.
We're all out here together and alone
Same 💜
The song kicks off and it could be dropped into any number of 80's movie opening credits. Love it.
Right! First time I heard this, I was like, "This sounds like Springsteen." Such a breath of fresh air!
I love the bands that put out vids of them actually playing the song. This is a good video.
TAC show and sotc info soon....

Everything about this is absolutely perfect. The song, the clothes, the dance moves, Jack’s shoes. Literally everything

This music gives me the hope that at any age, I can feel young again...and that even on the worst of days, it is entirely ok to turn up the music loud and dance like a child. Thank you, Jack and Bleachers.
amen brother
Good realization!
Amen for sure!! I was just thinking the same when I heard this for the first time. I cannot wait to play it in the car cranked!
My thoughts exactly!!! It makes me feel young again, sassy, and ready to dance. I have listened to it non-stop the last two days. Bleachers are VERY underated.
Totally agree. As crazy as it sounds, listening and dancing to 22 by taylor swift with my daughter works too
What strikes me most, beyond the musicianship and lyricism is, and I understand that this is a produced video, is the connection and fun they appear to share with one another. Staged or not, it's based on something. That's a killer thing in a band.
If you see any of their live performances its very close to the same vibe as this video. They're music isn't overly complicated and just simple fun and it shows in how they perform.
This song has become my gateway drug into Bleechers. WOW! It’s like Talking Heads invited Springsteen over to a party for a jam session and this is what came out. All honesty though Jack Antinoff your songwriting skills are next level. Bravo ❤
This is a great reference point. The Springsteen is obvious, but hadn’t heard the Byrne tone to his voice until you pointed it out. Thanks!
Talking Heads and Springsteen is an absolutely perfect description!
This band is infectious in the best way. Seen them many times latest was Summerfest and I can’t wait for next time. It’s such a special experience I hope everyone gets the chance to see them live
I drag a different friend to each show they play near me because I feel like everyone needs to see them live, even if you've never heard of them!!
Everytime I hear a bleachers song it makes me so happy, the instrumentation is just so joyful
I needed some happy music tonight, and after listening to 20 new songs, I FINALLY found something to make me want to clap and stomp; THANK YOU! We really, really need music like this these days. You have no idea. This is freaking awesome.
Hell yeah, love your comment
Check out Cody Fry’s “The End” and Passion Pit’s “I Found U,” if you want a couple more :) I too needed some more happy music, and UA-cam suggested this one based on me listening to those.
I’m closing in on 60, a child of the 60’s and 70’s. My daughter turned me on to these guy’s, what great music!
Upbeat, uplifting, makes you want to get up and dance! Not much music has made me want to do that in a looong time!
I had to to the dishes and really didn't want to. This song popped up and I cleaned the whole house
In 4 minutes?

For the "youngsters" among us, try Huey Lewis and Elvis Costello and any really good '50s - '60's real rock 'n roll music. Chuck, Jerry Lee, all the blues guys they learned from...really good tune and arrangement is "modern" as well. Old guy LOVES IT!
Love this tune. Got the Springsteen fingerprints all over it, but also has Jack's signature sound too. Such good stuff.
Jack is the second coming of Bruce!
@@gsmaphet I totally agree and you even see it with his co-writes with Taylor too.
@@gsmaphetthird. Gaslight Anthem came first.
Glad it was just not me feeling The Boss vibes in here.
Bruce pass the torch to Jack Bon Jovi was never going to get it lol
This is the kind of rowdy blue collar rock n roll we need right now. I've seen this band live five times, and they are nothing if not the biggest party in alternative music.🔥
this isnt blue collar at all, this is a modern metrosexual rendition of bruce springsteen
@@charwest5892except Bruce Springsteen's appearance is also quite metrosexual
It really is. Bruce Springsteen really hit this sweet spot, also often with a live sax during songs like Dancing in The Dark & Pink Cadillac. Like those, there's so much energy in this. I can't wait to try this song out on a run today.
@mariaamaideach3567 yeah I didn't want to reiterate that point but the real point is only sissy think Bruce Springsteen was "blue collar".
@@charwest5892 Surely "hipster," rather than "metrosexual?" Not that there's anything wrong with that?

Wow! This is the best new song I've heard in decades. So glad to have discovered this band and can't wait to try to catch them live. Absolutely phenomenal.
Right! The influences flow well in their musical DNA, I hear Springsteen,Talking heads,Tears for fears and even a ska/punk style here and there. Incredible. A song so good I cried to it
Every time I hear this song Saturday night live pops in my head. It's the saxophones , love it so much. It's from back in the day.
This new Bleachers era feels like the perfect vibe to ring in my late 20s
Enjoy it bro
same feeling here
Omg samee mid twenties and this new era is thee vibe for my life ,ringing into better choices, habits , and a better life !here’s to the rest of our twenties and life being great ! Amen
I love the slight graininess effect on the video, really shows the influence of that time period on Bleachers' music
Given me major Springsteen vibes and I love it. The yell in his voice is so awesome
The music might resemble Bruce in a good way, but the lyrics are stupid as fuck.
A part also gave me Bowie vibes
It’s always good to have a backup in case something happens to Bruce.
The sax hook at 3:32 sounds like it borrows a little bit of the melody from “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz. But the overall vibe is definitely reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen.
@@crystalp7242 Holy crap I was thinking the exact same thing, its the same part from the chorus!
Real killer song. Heard it three times on Sirius tonight. Absolutely awesome driving music.
Which station?!
I believe this song should be way more popular than it is. It absolutely has the qualities to be timeless. Good luck to you and your group. We will do our part to get you popular you keep us dancing and you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.
Is it not super popular ?? It’s on my xm radio station constantly…and I never get tired of it ! Loving this band
Yeah jack is a legend, look him up
In the future, this will be considered classic rock. Don't worry...this song is fire.

I love the little self-references Jack scatters throughout all the Bleachers songs and albums, like the rolling tomato, an endearing throwback to the Gone Now red dot, or shouting "hutch" like they did at the end of How Dare You Want More. Makes me feel all warm and safe.
This song feels like a PATH Train on a Saturday night when I was 25. I love them for doing a really classic rock song. Jack Antanoff is bringing the optimism right when we need it.
Major Springsteen vibes from this song. I mean I’ve always thought Jack wrote songs that had a Springsteen vibe, but this one is just so perfectly Bleachers and also such an homage to the sounds of NJ/NY music from the 70s/80s just like Springsteen. I can’t stop listening!
First heard this song on the radio and struggled so hard to find it but, the voice search wouldn't work and I tried searching by just the lyrics and had no luck. Since then, it plagued my mind because of how good the vibes and tunes were. Heard the song again and I finally found it through the song search while it was still playing
The musicianship here is spectacular! The sax guys, the guy on guitar, lead singer, guy on the keyboards, guy on drums, these guys are just such skilled musicians. I particularly love the sax guys and cool dance moves by all. Eye candy 🍬 🎉
What a jam!! If you need a song to put you in a good mood, look no further. Listening to this on repeat today!
24 hours early for my favorite Pop Music Hoarder
Yes the song is absolutely amazing and makes you dance wether you are tired or not. AND SO IS THE VIDEO. THIS is the kind of bands that should top the charts, they play to have fun and they love what they do and that they are doing it with each other. This is pure joy from start to finish.
10/10 it does not get better than this.
How hasn’t this broken a million views yet? This song has been stuck in my head ever since I first heard it.
You said it all about lack of views
I’m here to pay my respects to the poor tomato that lost its life in the promo for this video.

I love the authenticity of this music video. No strass, no strobe light, no costumes.
Only pure style.
thank christ there are still bands making good music! this brings me back! cars, cheap trick, talking heads, springsteen. I guess we took for granted what the 80's had to offer!
I can't stop watching it! This is exactly what I needed. Thanks, Jack and Bleachers.
how tf did a band in 2023/24 manage to write a song that feels like it’s always existed?
Brilliant comment
RIGHT?? Late 80s or early 90s
Agreed! Only a few songs are good enough to make one feel that way. This is one of them.
Plagiarism
It's got that live barroom vibe that inhabits many early Springsteen songs and goes all the way back to Louie, Louie.
So proud of the boys from Jersey coming out of that shadow and into the spotlight. Well deserved to Jack and the guys, and congratulations on getting married @bleachers
Wow! Amazing song, but also the video recorder & editor! Really great job!
I stumbled across this song when I searched for modern marvels ya know show on history channel and now this is one of my favorite songs! never heard of this band until now and I love the vibe so much fun.. Dope song
No matter how much credit the saxophone guys get, it isn't enough.
Love this so much!!!! Can NOT wait for for the album! You have the best pressed vinyls ever. Please keep it up
Gives me instant Billy Joel vibes, total hit! you bring back the hope in music!
Damn, what a fun music video! I love this song's mashup of Springsteen and Elvis and The Gaslight Anthem while still being uniquely Bleachers.

Woah! I was sitting here feeling super bored and sad I couldn’t find a song that fit my needs and then here comes this magnificent creation!!!!! I think I found a new favorite!!
so damn good. Thank you Jack for being one of the best songwriters of this generation
I am 70yo now. This song, originally sung at the end of my teenage years carries so many memories. I feel as though I am back there: my health and mobility are back, my young, beautiful girlfriend Pippa, the feeling that the whole world is still before me; my sense of purpose (so strong at 19 and on the edge of Vietnam). Disillusionment and heartbreak inevitably followed, but, for just six months, the world was amazing. Thank you for reminding me of that time 50 years ago. God bless you both.
nicely put!
Ive missed these types of horns!!! Fels so good to be listening to them again
This has to be the most fun (no pun intended) band I have ever heard.
this totally feels like it should be in a coming of age movie!

Can we just take a moment to have a quick chat about how ridiculously good this song is. This is infused with fun and joy, not a care in sight.
I've been starting my day with this track for the past week. Nothing but amazing vibes. Looking forward for more!
I was kinda annoyed the ad for this song came up in my Instagram all the time, but now I'm glad I finally listened to the whole song. This is such an awesome song. I wanna hear this on a Saturday night and dance some Rock'n'roll. So many good vibes!
Evan and Zem are honestly my favorite duo. I want to write fanfiction about them being friends.
I LOVE this song so much! Thank you Jack & Bleachers and tbh, also the UA-cam algorithm as well.
I'm not into dancing at all and usually it takes quite a bit of "funny stuff" and/or pretty ladies to convince me to dance, but this song made me dance all on my own and I actually had fun while doing so.
I had a miserable day before and your song made it all better. Thanks guys.

The bass synth is godly in this piece, the chorus wouldn't have that pumped up ambient without it, what a full sounding tone.
