I was coming off drugs in 2002-03 and watched crime shows and all the shows on different trades, welding, fishing, trucking whatever. Now 21 years sober these shows helped me. I know this is new but its just like what i watched in 02-03. Very good show, sad as always for loved ones and anyone with empathy.
she was lucky to have a man that wanted to be there & be part of their sons life.
i tried to offer joint custody to my ex, who left us for reasons unknown, even he later said it was the dumbest decision he ever made. anyway, he ripped the papers in half, then he kidnapped them for a couple months 😭 they were only 1& 2! i got them back with the help of the police & he ended up with NO visitation & having to pay support. with all that drama, stress & distress i never once thought of harming him!!!
Thank God did he or anything ever more horrible come out of that. Men maturing women later than us at times can pose issues. The ones to this story are past horrible and sad. Happy your story been a healthy, positive one.
Cheryl could have made life easier for both of Ben & herself had she discussed having a child with Ben, get his perspective, instead of making that major decision herself, then surprising Ben
My thoughts too.
Here is a man stepping up and wanting to take care of his son and he gets killed for it. If he was a bad person i could understand her not wanting him around the baby but he had a good reportcard on being a good dad what was her problem. He came around she should have been glad. I beleive she was holding a grudge over his first reaction to the baby news.
He was close to 50 - of course he wasn't going to be overjoyed!
@Macky1101 - single mother - raised my three alone - no man in my home and declined a number of probably good men. A single mom has a responsibility to their kids. At 63 my kids are adults - and thoroughly good human beings. Now I might be open to a partner. But it's not a MUST HAVE. This creature destroyed her own child - nothing worse than that 😡
same here, 2 daughters. my husband left us when they were 1 & 2. i do better single & prefer it actually. if i want company or affection i have fur babies ❤

This is why single men (without children) should never get involve with single mothers. Ben got lucky the first time that he got loving stepdaughters (his marriage didn't last). The 2nd time was not good. Single mothers have a revolving door with men.
