I'm hoping at some point these adventures are turned into Tall Tales for those players who haven't had the opportunity to play the game. Limited time events like these, while fun for those present, are like daggers to those coming late to the party.
Yeah the last adventure was super buggy and broken when I played last, so I skipped doing it. Really would like to go through the previous adventures with my friends
I think the evil sealed and will return is an evil ancient, perhaps the spider. Ray this could be a threat that forces the Flameheart and Ramsey to work together.
According to Falcore, the Fates are physical beings. Judging from the flame-like appearance of the monsters in the doorway, and the fact that there's multiple, makes me think that's what is locked away. This would explain why the Dark Brethren want access to the temple, so they can control fate. I think during this adventure (or tall tale (or voyage)) we'll have to fight the Fates, each summoning things corresponding to their color (Blue summons a kraken and meg, white summons a storm, etc.). At the end, the Fates are locked back away.
Man I kinda want Flameheart to appear right as we find the cure, then he and the reapers destroy it like the spanish destroyed the fountain of youth in the PotC4.
i don't think it is flameheart, the story is written before the returned of dammned adventure and like lost sands paper was blanc after the adventure for the oupost or the resurection, having flameheart this soon will not work, it might be something new but it will be awesome either way. I just want to see Merrick getting justice against the brethren (i am a merrick fan as you are a flameheart fan)
@@AShinyRay Oh! Are you thinking Flameheart was going to return either way in this temple adventure, but "Return of the Damned" determined whether he'd be a skeleton or a red ghost?
I would like to throw my own two cents into what this last page could mean, children don't usually refer to symbology or metaphors when speaking, writing, drawing, etc., they're straightforward, if little Tasha somehow knew about Flameheart coming back, she would have referred to that, my belief, my fear, is that this monster is exactly what we see, a malevolent amalgamation of darkness
@@AShinyRay (hi btw, love your videos) True, however perhaps it's only revealed at the end before escaping somehow, with how big these upcoming adventures seem like they'll be, I wouldn't put anything past them
Personally I just want flameheart to be a skeleton and not a flesh human as well he turns you into a skeleton and that’s his army mainly. Then again the cinematic of him wining had him as a skeleton so I hope he is one
It can't be Flameheart, that doesn't make.any sense. More probably a renegade evil ancient, maybe the one responsable for the diffusion of the skeleton curse or a guard beast placed there from the ancients to protect their secrets.
@@AShinyRay from the diary it looks like a three headed monster, and it's locked in a temple of the ancient in the sea of the damned, so it's an ANCIENT (VERY VERY OLD) menace that is guarding the skeleton curse cure. Flameheart was defeated only 9 years ago, he isn't an ancient menace, he is pretty recent. Also the Reapers discovered the existence of the cure only recently during the orb event, if Flameheart is the "monster" the Reapers should already know about the existence of the cure. Also, we resurrected him (I don't know why he is still in the sarcophagus), but why do all that ritual stuff with the seaforts only to take back from the sotd only a portion of Flameheart?
I thought they were hinting at a secret entrance without the Veil of the Ancients when we saw the clip at the Sunken Grove. That Waterfall could be a new gateway or something.
I'm thinking isle of last words is the site of the final words spoken by the ancients. Teleporting their temple and them. It would explain why isle of last words is ominous and has the 4 peaks like shores of gold. A new rock has appeared there months ago. Interesting.
What's going on with The Wilds? There are new grassy patches and if you look at them you will see that the sky in the background is different. Like you are looking through a portal or something and instead of it being dreary like it normally is in The Wilds it's pretty with rainbows.
If there's some big, important temple soon to be appearing... and the Wilds is changing, with those spots of renewed life... is there a perhaps a major map change/expansion close at hand?
I Douth rare will probably show a glimpse of thr monster in the next trailer. But I just hope we get merric and pendragons help one last time or hopefully they work together to return.
The Ancients aren't who we think they are. They are back to reclaim their homeland, their world, and are using both FH and TPL to do so. FH and TPL will have to temporarily unite forces to fight them in the Grand Battle for The Sea of Thieves.
I hope this ends up being the begininnings of a longer chain of adventures and/or tall tales leading towards flameheart's curse being cured so we can kill his ass. It definitely feels like between this and the ongoing battle for the sea of thieves the plot is finally moving forwards, but I hope flameheart gets to stick around for a bit and not just be "that guy what threatened to come back for a year" who comes back and immediately has his ass handed to him especially given the community voted to resurrect him. Let him be a fun villain for a while, but definitely kill him at some point. I know everyone is always talking about the cap'n but i can realistically only see him coming to prominence once flameheart is either dealt with or his introduction will render flameheart effectively non-threatening in the grand scheme of things.
The 3 stone accents are the same as the one on the archway. You see it when the camera pans up. Don't forget it's a child's drawing. Also: twitter.com/ChappersChapman/status/1591869988616679427?t=yB6SLOv3_OhJr9rl6XURkA&s=19
Without trying to disparage the work that goes into these videos, I still find all of this somewhat hilarious. Because to me, this convoluted "story" doesn't seem to make _any_ sense. And yet, some people apparently find in enjoyable...?
Do you think the captain well finally reveal himself we keep hearing him but we don’t know what he looks like I would imagine he’ll look like a skeleton horse but with some purple flames and he becomes the new leader of the dark brother 🤔☠️
@@flaninty2705 I see the Cap'n and Davy Jones as equal leaders, maybe the Cap'n has a bit more authority than Davy but mostly equal. Though there may be something I missed that proves otherwise.
That's what came to my mind when I first saw that page as well. We also got the Minotaur set in the emporium that just released so maybe Rare is hinting that the Ancients are related to the Ancient Greeks.
Ehhh I don't believe this. He is already resurrected so he wouldn't be stuck in the sea of the damned if his soul came back. Also i'm pretty sure once you become a skeleton there's no turning back. I mean if someone transformed into a skeleton fully and can come back why make it seem desperate to cure Tasha BEFORE she fully turns? Besides why call flamheart a "scary monster"? If flameheart truly is trapped in a temple then how was his soul still bound to his skull and we see it floating around commanding his fleet in his world event? If he is resurrected then how could he still be in the temple? It makes no sense. For all we know the father of krakens could be in there. You can't have a great mother without a great father. Maybe there's a new beast inside. Why portray the creature in the temple this way if it's going to be flameheart who by the way is confirmed to be resurrected. None of this makes sense whatsoever and just seems like wishful thinking despite flameheart already resurrected
If they're gonna let us explore this temple, it's gotta be a Tall Tale, right? Seems like it would be a lot of work for just 1 adventure.
Maybe we can replay it on custom servers
@@samueljameson2998 custom server?!?
It'll likely be put in the world.
Or a new permanent zone
Limited tall tale w/ curse?

*Reaper starts small fire on the ship
Wrong remember that the siren queen made pirate lord look bad making the siren queen the widow
I wish they could let us playthrough the adventures again(tall tales/different rewards than the debut of adventures), this storyline is awesome.
The adventure before secret wilds if you read the journals the brethren specifically talk about getting the cure and using it on flameheart
FUCK SHINY YOU GOT ME EXICTED FOR A CARTOONY PIRATE GAME
I really hope that adventure 12 is a squabble with the dark brethren to get Briggsy back and that the temple storyline is a tall tale.
Yea I really hope the temple is a tall tale maybe 2 the trials of the ancients and the dwelling of the ancients
I doubt it, its probably just going to be a boring vault reskin for an adventure
