    Really good presentation Harriet! Really good attention to detail and same as the property. But...Service charge is equivalent to £30k a year!, £2500 a month! That's someone average annual salary in London! Sounds crazy?!

      Leasehold properties are scams, It's about time it's gotten rid of in this country, rather buy a freehold property in Surrey, 2 years and the property has not sold, that's the reason huge service charge or nothing.

    Open plan kitchen means no heavy cooking, smell of food everywhere, i would move the kitchen to the front bedroom and create a bar area

    Beautiful and really eye-popping! For just under GBP 6m this seems a bargain. I can imagine if I were the owner you would see a Mercedes new SL V8 Convertible, and a Land Rover in my 2-space garage! The only concern is maintenance - you will need at least 2 full time maids and the heating bill would be quite substantial. But then I guess that doesn't matter very much if you could afford this house! I live in Hong Kong and for this price you can only get a high end apartment of around 1500 sq feet, so it's a "bargain". BTW great photography and introduction - definite thumbs up!

    I love high ceiling and the interior design is fantastic, but I personally feel the hall a little chaotic with too many things going around in such an open space...other areas of the house are exquisite

    Help me out with maths here, so you pay £6million for the house and you have to pay a service charge of £30,276.74 per year (£7.93 x 3818 sqft) plus £1200 for ground rent?

      The service charge is for the maintenance of the exterior of the building as it is a grade 2 listed building and so crucial to preserve it due to its significance. The service charge also is for access to all the facilities available including the gym, swimming pool, concierge and driver service that is available for residents' of the home. As the property is a leasehold the ground rent helps maintain the landscaped gardens and surrounding development.

      A grade 1 listed building is a building of exceptional interest. A grade 2 listed buildings are of special interest. Both listings means the buildings have special planning regulations and every effort should be made to preserve them. An example of a famous grade 1 listed buildings is Buckingham Palace and a grade 2 listed building is Selfridges on Oxford Street.
