As a first gecko I'd suggest the crested gecko, they're easier to care for. Also they're easier to handle because day geckoes are much faster and have more delicate skin, my vote goes to the crested gecko!
I just found this playlist and am very much loving it. I enjoy it for sure!!! I would love more just like it. I would watch it in heartbeat!! Especially expos
Fantastic video. For the gecko, definitely the crested gecko. Love the ball pythons & last but not least your whole video from inside the Terraplaza was in brilliant FOCUS. Thank you for sharing. Take care. Glenn. 🤗🤗🤗💕🕷🕸🐸🐛🐍🦂
That Morelia viridis or the Green tree python is freaky awesome... my favourite snake species after Ball python... nice video Petko... greetings from Velika Gorica ;)
Awesome video! Just look at that derpy face #5:48 ! And those snakes were so cuuuute! Omg can't wait to see what you got! I just wish there was something similar in uk...
Awesome video, as always!! You asked about opinions on a crested gecko or day gecko. We have both, the day geckos are more of an observation animal, they can slough off their skin as a defense mechanism if they're handled incorrectly or feel threatened (we don't handle ours). Crested geckos are a hands on animal, and don't mind being handled. Hope that helps!
Thank you for giving us a glimpse of what expos are like in Budapest! I'm from Florida, USA and they look very much like ours. You seem to have much more varieties of species to choose from. Many of ours are what we call "Ball" fests. Everybody's selling ball pythons. Bearded dragons and leopard geckos are quite common as well. Rarely do I see many arachnid vendors and that's what I'm into. :( One last thing. Crested geckos! I have several. No light requirement, room temperature is preferable for them and they are easy to breed. Nocturnal though.
Glad it went well. Damm that would suck missing your train with live animals...well done that guy who picked you up! Good thing about BTS is May is usually ok weather wise here in the Uk. Well in the car I turn the heating up a bit...but not much. Last time I made it back in around 1.30 so was able to get my T's all into their enclosures and enjoy a beer later in the evening to celebrate!!!
It is safe in many areas of the USA to hitch hike. Not in the inner city ghettos but most other places, yes. People do it all the time. 30 years ago it was safer but people still do it.
It's Monday.......somewhere 😂show us the goods. Excellent video, trying to decide whether or not to get a P.Regalis 🤔my first pokie, can't wait for the BTS exhibition
I love the snakes that Patrik picked up! Wish I could get some too, but over here you need to get a permit first (which costs money) and then you can get the snake. If you don't and get it anyways, you risk having the snake taken away from you :( Good thing I don't need permits for my T's and another plus is they take up a lot less space per animal ;)
Hitching is dangerous Petco geez. It might be just scarry as heck in my country.maybe. ??I'd Never hitch now a days OMG Glad Your Ok and You're Got a cool Person .
Just bought a crested gecko today! so yeah.. my vote goes to them! And another thing, a few days ago i saw one of your vids with a B. smithi hanging in de top of a exo terra, his leg stuck and you said to never take netting in a terrarium. Learned that lesson the hard way.. Keep up the great vids!!
I hope your friend realizes the ball pythons (Python Regius) live upwards of 20 years if well kept. One was recorded (arguably) to have lived 48 years. Contrary to what many breeders will tell you, they cannot thrive in cramped environments. Thank you for sharing your experience!!!
Looks amazing. I missed the VHS reptile expo here in Victoria and now I feel like I just missed the birth of my child. Hope you had a great time though!
He's gonna need a new tank for that catfish when it grows up! Here's a picture of an adult (at least I'm pretty sure they're the same species) www.google.com.au/search?q=red+tailed+catfish&rlz=1C9BKJA_enAU637AU637&hl=en-GB&prmd=ivsn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj1rL-p57vSAhXrqVQKHbUYA1QQ_AUIBygB&biw=1024&bih=653#imgrc=0dVf1cu87zSriM:
The Dark Den true. My friend told me he got some week old fire back huntsmans from the expo about an hour ago. Now I'm incredibly jealous. just gotta wait for the next expo, which will be in a years time...
Hi - I love all your videos so I am binge watching them all, I really want to own a T now, but people in my house are scared of them :( I own 2 axolotls - they are neotenic salamanders, meaning they retain their "baby" features. Typically salamanders will transition into a land creature, but Axolotls remain underwater for life! They are related to Tiger Salamanders both in the genus Ambystoma :)
man this is way cooler then the reptile convention in my area, its mostly bearded dragons (wich i love but a wider variety like what is at terraplaza would be nice)
OMG, your friend is so cute and keeps all the same animals I do! Ask him if he is interested in a sugar momma--a lady of a certain age--from the United States. ; ->
Hello sir great channel keep uop the good work. Could i possibly get your email please as i am working on a project involving Poecilotheria that i feel you would like to be involved with. Regards Dan
Wait, you hitchhiked?! I'm sorry, but the United States cannot be the only country in the world where people who pick up hitchhikers might be sociopaths. You could have ended up dead in a ditch and some scary guy or gal would have stolen your animals. : -( Petko, we worry about you!

Awesome expos are super fun I try to go to at least 1 a year it would be awesome to go to some in a different countries.

Im from Hungary , it was nice to see u here ^^
Cultural Question: Is it safe to hitchhike over there?? We definitely don't do that here in the US because some people are crazy but just wanna know 😋
Azúcar Morena most likely, places like Hungary are considered one of the safer places
In the US its illegal to hitchhike at least where i live. Easy way to get murdered or robbed.
It is safe in many areas of the USA to hitch hike. Not in the inner city ghettos but most other places, yes. People do it all the time. 30 years ago it was safer but people still do it.

I know and I would really love to come, but BTS expo is first on the list now ^^
Jakob maybe you can make your own video on that. We would love to watch it
Hitching is dangerous Petco geez. It might be just scarry as heck in my country.maybe. ??I'd Never hitch now a days OMG Glad Your Ok and You're Got a cool Person .

Yeah, it is not my video though, I don't have any exo terra. What happened to you?
The exact same thing you showed, it was awefull to see. But i got her loose safely and put perspex on the top. Now it will never happen again!
I'm glad there weren't any consequences :)

I own 2 axolotls - they are neotenic salamanders, meaning they retain their "baby" features. Typically salamanders will transition into a land creature, but Axolotls remain underwater for life! They are related to Tiger Salamanders both in the genus Ambystoma :)

How can your friend keep 3 ball pythons in the same enclosure it's usually not recomended
It's not, but if they're well fed it can be possible. They should also be separated when feeding them, one at a time.
1:15 I LITERALLY THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A CHOCOLATE ICE-CREAM😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Wait, you hitchhiked?! I'm sorry, but the United States cannot be the only country in the world where people who pick up hitchhikers might be sociopaths. You could have ended up dead in a ditch and some scary guy or gal would have stolen your animals. : -( Petko, we worry about you!
Chances of dying to a regular caraccident are higher than that. Following your logic, he could have also been poisoned by people in restaurants.
I live in the US and pick up hitch hikers all the time..
