Fortunately, videos like yours still enable me to enjoy the views and a very limited experience of what I and others are missing. Thank you for allowing us to climb Ben Nevis with you. Amazing how conditions change so quickly. You have my admiration sir. Stay safe.
Loving them - superb trousers - might be coming out in cold wet weather but hoping to get the summer trousers out at some point soon 🤞🤞 (when summer finally arrives )
Love the CMD Arete been nearly 23 yrs last time I was on there, did it early February and was absolutely awesome... been to Ben Nevis many times over the years, one year I hiked to the CIC hut to climb no5 gully from Glen Nevis Valley, just as I got to the CIC hut the heavens opened up, there were 2 local lads that I had seen at the CIC and they asked if I was going to climb, but when the rain came, I said not now, so they asked where I had parked, and i said Glen Nevis Valley, so they offered to give me a lift from the golf club car park, and that I had to meet up with them in the Nevis Range bar later on... so I did and I couldn't of asked for a better night out and friendship of two local climbers, who also offered me a cuppa tea at the CIC hut .. awesome place Fort William and very friendly.... hoping to get there in July possibly the last 2 weeks as I've got 3 weeks off to do some climbing and scrambling and a visit to the CMD Arete and hoping to get to the Cuillin Ridge traverse and sleep on the ridge for maybe 2 nights and enjoy the tranquil nights on the Cuillin Ridge and watch the stars ... Great vid might do that route looks cool 😎👌👍
Awesome video, my friend!! I'm new on your channel, loved it. I was at the foot of Ben Nevis few years ago but had unfortunately no to hike up. It's on my bucket list. For a start, we have a bottle of the "Dew" of Ben Nevis at home. Slainte Mhath and hello from a Swiss mountain man 💪🤠👍 (we just plan to go shooting to the Matterhorn area again...)
Hope you get out at some point - I just about remember those years - enjoy them (easier said than done ) as they will pass by quicker than you can imagine 👍 Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Even getting to the CIC hut which sits at the bottom of the north face is around 1800 feet up its the best way to go onto the Ben if you can't be bothered going up the tourist path and you've got a little bit of scrambling skills the Ben on days like this is absolutely stunning ,,,great vid
Brilliant as always, very entertaining and you’ve reminded me of the one and only time I’ve used my crampons in anger. On a winter skills course many many years ago we went up the back of Nevis, it may have been gulley number 5, the conditions were so bad you couldn’t see anything anyway so it didn’t matter where it was. It made such an impression that whilst my axe and crampons may be 20+ years old they look like new because that was the last time I used them. Perhaps I should dust them off ready for winter. Hope to be out soon!
it can be a intimidating location on the north face of Ben Nevis Gary - you may get some money for you crampons if you still have the origional box ;) lol Hope you are enjoying your new surroundings in the Black Isle :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

Nice to see you sporting the simond trousers, they're top notch!

Brilliant, I've just had a bairn so won't be out in the mountains for a couple month but loving the videos 👍
Hope you get out at some point - I just about remember those years - enjoy them (easier said than done ) as they will pass by quicker than you can imagine 👍

This looks immense, Murray. What a belter of a day!
What makes this even more spectacular is the filmography behind it too. Good job 👌
Thanks Charlie - very much appreciated

Hope to be out soon!
it can be a intimidating location on the north face of Ben Nevis Gary - you may get some money for you crampons if you still have the origional box ;) lol Hope you are enjoying your new surroundings in the Black Isle :)
Take care and thanks for watching

Always wanted to up the Ben via the CMD. Has to be done. Amazing scenery and great weather. Doesn't get better than that!
Simple and beautiful.
