Does anyone else feel like we are in a Alien/ Dead Space world. As it seems like 2023 and 2022 are more filled with horror based games. More so than usual.

Robots are almost universally terrifying. Like, entire libraries and filmographies of sci-fi rely on the simple fact that robots are terrifying. Terminator, The Sentinels controlling humanity in the Matrix, that one lady in Superman 3 that got turned into a robot, every video Boston Dynamics has ever released. When they manage to portray a robot that ISN'T an uncanny valley nightmare fuel death machine it's a miracle.
THE SOUND EFFECTS ARE PHENOMENAL, if nothing else it will be fun just to walk around and listen to ambience, very promising. also giving me a little analogue horror vibes. it should also be said that it's commendable making androids look scary, many horror games fail at that imo.
Probably my most favorite sound effect of all of this is the A.I jumpscare in the beginning and when the cosmonaut is reloading their C.A.T (Cosmonaut Assistance Tool)
I'm so happy and shocked at the same time by the fact what we only had a little gameplay trailer almost 8 years ago and nothing else, yet somehow that game is still alive and well
Anyone else feel that alien isolation atmosphere and feeling? 0:39 feels like a level / area from isolation and it seems to capture just the same feeling that isolation gave off when you walked into different areas of Sevastopol, Really hope this game delivers on the fear and anxiety that alien isolation put people on, can’t wait to try this one out!
To whoever produced that trailer : you did a phenomenal job! The sound design is so loud and oppressive it reinforces the immersion! Can’t wait to play it!
Finally Sci fi space horror is coming back. Space horror is way more terrifying then average horror there's something truly unsettling about horror scenarios happening in space.
The design and photorealism of this game looks incredible. Amazed to read on here that it's been about 10 years in development. Keen to pick it up on release, looks scary as hell!

This game actually was supposed to come out before Alien Isolation. Even some developers from Alien Isolation were waiting for this game for some time now. Everyone has been excited for this game for about a decade now Lol.
Hm...ok maybe it's just this trailer but there are too many jumpscares for my taste. That's not atmospheric horror rather than a cheap effect to trick people into thinking it's scary.
Those who have played mass effect will recognize the similarity of the sounds used here. As much as the Geth and the Reapers were semi-horrifying in ME series - this, somehow, is amplified here and gives me pure horror vibes.
Just heard from the devs via steam game discussions and Routine is indeed coming!!! They said they're making great progress but that's all they could share at this point.
The sound design is insane. Love everything about this trailer.
