On PC yes. Some of the cinimatics actually aren't as high quality as some of the games I played last year. If you are playing on a high quality monitor at 4k sometimes the cinematics are even a lower quality than the actual game. Far Cry 4 was a good example of that for me a few years back.
Soon as i saw retrieval, i kind of though of a game like that where you go in and get materials or specific parts to fix something you need to escape. Running back to your safe haven every time. And each time, you have to go deeper and further away from safety to retrieve what you need. Sneaking or running back every time. Is there a game already like that?
Wow! these trailers are so incredible! What an age we live in. On one hand we have abundant food, clean water, shelter and technology of the gods. We are able to make such great works of audio-visual art. On the other hand, a lot of us are jobless/unemployed, have mental health issues and are having trouble making the ends meet to afford any of the abundant resources. Many of those who work are over-worked. What is the use of all this great knowledge if we don't have the wisdom to use it to empower ourselves and those around us? There are so many people on earth right now who don't even have their basic needs met. Forget internet, they don't have clean water and food to eat. Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and the rest of the world are going through a severe economic crisis. It's time, we unite and share the resources of the earth and...as voice in the last trailer said... "here, together, we can build ourselves a home"
@@microvvaveoven If people stay complacent, no ideology can help us. People need to be aware of the problem first. They need to understand what's happening. Capitalism worked well for some time. But, it has not worked for all. Developed countries benefited more from it and now it's drawbacks are clearly visible. Go to any major US cities and you'll see a homelessness like never before and majority of those with housing are no better excluding the few who work for tech companies. Right now, I think a hybrid of capitalism and socialism would be better. But, this change can only come from the public. People need to unite and demand their respective governments for basic needs for all and equitable sharing of Earth's resources. Then, the governments will be forced create a list of the resources their countries have and the United Nations will combine the lists and ensure that the world's resources are shared and used optimally in a just way. The future is either going to be collaboration of the governments and people of the world.. Or there wont be a future at all
I really wish they would've remade the first MGS game or better yet remake the very first Metal Gear game. Though I do love Snake Eater and it technically comes first story wise.
next gen graphics is nice but I'd really rather have an optimized game at launch. we havnt had an optimized "next gen" game in a while aside from armored core
The gfx is great, but just comes across as 3 random lunatics attacking a mutated tiger in it's habitat. Lack of context put's sympathy on the victim and animosity towards the poachers.
Why show these amazing graphics for over 10 years now , yet when we get the actual game it comes nowhere near the quality , or the hardware cant run it ?
My two cents on some of these trailers: Project V feels like a cross between Ghosts of Tsushima and Monster Hunter, I only hope they kept the best parts for both (different weapon mechanics for MH and environmental storytelling for GoT) without falling into the pitfalls of such games (repetitive grinds and restrictive player agency). --- Beautiful Light gives me Death Stranding vibes but with Gears of War cover-shooter mechanics, hopefully the story is less cryptic than all that "Princess Beach" nonsense and the cover-shooting isn't just repeats of the same stale old formula. --- That Retrieval trailer is just... bad. I mean, okay, survival horror, I get it, but come ON, at least display some common sense in the trailer instead of just going for pure Ultra8kHD or whatever. The girl has a giant flashlight on her FACE, she's literally the only source of white light in that building, and the monsters just run past the hallway she's in while her light in shining out of the hallway? And that bit where she's ducking in and out from behind that door, you're seriously expecting me to believe that these monsters with them big ass eyes aren't seeing the light? I already don't like this game, and I know literally nothing about it other than that it's going to be some sort of survival horror. --- MGS Delta Snake Eater, first of all that doesn't look like Snake, no really, not even a younger version of him or whatever the story is for that game, it looks like someone is trying to cosplay as Snake and is just doing an okay job at it. Second, I can appreciate wanting to show off the "realism" with the animal animations, but if you're going to go for "realism" then don't have the ants become robots as soon as they start moving. I don't know if you've ever seen ants move, they don't move like that, the legs the antennae the body, it's all wrong, and together with the "cosplay Snake" it just feels really uncanny valley. Great job Konami, you've screwed over MGS all over again, is this all part of your master plan to discredit Kojima? --- Why the hell does a battle royal game like Off the Grid need such a deep and intimate story in a trailer? Now I just want a game with that kind of story. If this game releases with no single-player story-rich campaign I'm going to be so pissed. --- Marathon. One word: Confused. --- Fable eh? Question, is Peter Molyneux involved? If not (haven't found any evidence to the contrary at least), then hopefully it'll just be another not-too-serious adventure romp in another fantastic world where we can get up to our old Fable shenanigans without having to worry about the tall tale promises of a certain someone. --- If Behemoth is just Shadow of the Colossus in VR... then it's already a masterpiece. If not, then we'll see if it's any good when it comes out.

Man, all the shaky camera work... It's utterly terrible, my eyes almost fell out 😵💫 Trying to add more dynamics to the shot with the crazy camera shaking is a bad idea.
