I stopped by my local hardware store and got some of the brass cuttings from their key cutting machine and used it to fill chips and holes in pen blanks and my customers love the look.
Nice turning demo. I stopped sanding my bushings some time ago, and have been replacing the damaged ones. Every time you sand you lose a little dimension, which adds up over a few pens. I get the blank to size then switch to non-stick bushings for any sanding and finishing. The PolyAg looks great, gotta try it!
Thank you for the comment. Normally I never put on a CA finish on stone because it polishes up just as glossy as any CA finish. In my experience the CA is not needed. Since it’s already 15% acrylic all you need to do is just polish it. Thank you again for your comment. We will do a CA finishing demo in the near future.
Can't wait to grab me a couple of these and get in the shop. Looks great!!
Joel says thank you :)
Thank you kindly
Very cool video dad

How about demonstrating the use of CA glue for a finish? Thanks. 😊

Hi Joel ✋
Hello back at you
I save a variety of colors in shavings and sanding dust for just that purpose... them "design modifications" 😁
So do I! -Joel
