Well, when I look this splited spacebars I see an easy way to control more layers. You can use both as a TAP space, if you want. But in addition, it gives the possibility of using each key as a HOLD extra function to change all the default layer to a totally new and programable layer is fantastic. That is what makes this keyboard ahead of the curve!

That titanium and apricot color scheme is reminiscent of old NCR computers with their prominent orange keys and gray casing.
The split-spacebar to me, rather than providing me with an extra function, will serve better as the gateway to a more ergonomic typing experience, useful for people who find ergonomic keyboards a tad too daunting.

Ah yes, the NCRs. Love your thought on the ergonomic angle, I hadn't thought of that. One more thing to experiment with now.

Thank you for the review, I just had purchased the same board with yellow switches 2 weeks ago and eagerly waiting for delivery. I think the split space with a reprogrammable knob is a super nifty feature. It allows for extra knob functions without relying on pressing the fn key to do certain tasks. Ive come from 65 boards with built in knobs and sliders where i use the knobs for volume frequently. The 60 formfactor with this extra functionality is very nice to have. You can also just use a normal space if you dont want to use the split so more options and no complaints from me!
