Designing is so good, 25kw battery is so huge in bike i don't think it's possible, Government should encourage such innovations and their work.
25 kwh battery pack for 1100-1200kg tigor ev gives around 250-300 arai range and price starts from 12 lakhs.
Ikr he's probably lying.. that would be around 6kwh battery or max 8kwh.. moreover he is using hub motor which is cost cutting thing.. so expecting cost cutting battery isn't surprising thing..
First of all thanks Krishna chaitanya for bringing all these EV Contents to us without doing google, I was interested in EV but I was looking at manufacturers who are targeting only scooter and bikes but not cruiser bike so I thought of buying a EV scooter as we don't have cruise bikes but this is amazing like someone is also working on cruiser EV bikes definitely I want to pre-book when ever it's available 👏👏👏
I know what is your budget you can't afford this types of bike
25kwh....hmm....if u consider the best cells with say 250wh/kg cell level energy density the total mass of the cells required to make this battery pack will be around 100 kg ! now add other non energy producing components so that will bring the weight atleast to 110 kg...thats a heavy pack !....gross weight of the vehicle might go upto 220+ kg...Now somehow if they manage to get these cells even at 1$ per cell (which might be really difficult, even tesla had to beg for such prices with panasonic)...they would need say around 1930 cells at say 3.5Ah capacity which would make the cells cost to be around 1.45 lakhs ! (lowest cost)...battery cost will be definitely high than that...say 1.6-1.7 lakhs....They better make a good battery otherwise the warranty issues will kill them...vehicle cost of 3.5 lakh does seem sensible with this kind of battery cost. they will need around 33 litres of space just for the cells so pack will be definitely more than that around 35-36 litres. Looks like might be possible to fit in that big of a pack in that space. But itl be a big pack for sure.
Finally a cruiser ev bike.. I was looking for this for so long..... I'll buy it.

As an EV engineer...…. I don't think they will be able to fit 25KWH battery in that space. Yup, there is no way one can do such a thing until we get some amazing battery Chemistry.

We want to see a bike with named as 'Mandela' which should be powerful as well as at the same time it should give 300kms/charge. We are waiting for krishna Chaitanya *Mandela* Ebike. We can believe it as a complete bike as u know most reliable components, Batteries etc which should be designed and manufactured to suit Indian Roads.👍
Thank you for your efforts, the design of the bike is great, but it would have been better if it had a mid drive motor instead of a hub motor.

The EVs are only pushed to consume the bulk solar electric and hydro electricity that is being produced or will be produced . The peak of which is during the day. Hence you need industry, households and vehicles to use it

Electric bikes are taking over. Of course gas powered bikes will always have a place.
Hub motor on a cruiser bike ? I don't think it's a good choice. Not ideal for long rides. Bu no words for design... Need more innovations esp in battery chemistry as well as electric motor with proper cooling mechanism.
If it's mark on the road, it will be a treat to watch...

As tata tigor ev with battery pack of 25kw it gives you around 200km range for 1.9 ton car just this if this bike with 25kw battery pack ..

I feel People don't buy any product which has no test reports from concerned test labs and Second you need to work a lot on concealing the cable harness and the Battery must be detachable for the ease of charging in an odd situation during your travel.

if it really 25 kW battery 🔋 .! it strongly believe the range could be 300 km+ for sure . Because on average 110 kg weight bike can easily give you an range of 30 km per every 1 kw at a speed of 45- 55..…! So in this bike the battery itself will be 150+ kg in battery itself .since he said it's NFP . also bike may weight 100 kg with ease because it need to have a strong chassis , tires , and great suspension to carry them. assuming a total of 250 kg + bike also with riders weight we can assume 25 kW multiplied with 15 km can give a rough range of 375 in average speed of 60- 65 kmph.! So hopefully they ( engineerings who are working on it ) learn more by making this vehicle ..! congratulations on your first steps...!
