Very nice variety. Some people feed Dragon fruit plants Milk to make them bigger. Happy growing. Looking forward to seeing cutting from your garden.

Thus the name … we call it “Donovan’s La Verne Red” … 3 lbs with a 20 brix … not bad !
I purchased mine La Verne 17 years ago at OSH and it was from La Verne Nursery. All the La Verne in my orchard are from that mother plant.

Hello Primel, thank you for the comment. La Verne red need another pollen. I use the mix of multiple varieties that Eyal Givon provides me from his Dragon Fruit Farm Moorpark. It is very hard to match the blooming time of multiple varieties.
