No, unless you know how to properly reseal it with proper glue. But only if you know how!

@@PTTY100 Yes, it is waterproof. He has been in the shower with me for over 2 years. It stopped working after his screen was broken and he had a dozen showers. you probably bought the one after it was disassembled.

hello, i have the mi band 4, but i think it is to thick, and i dont like the heartrate sensor touching my arm, I dont use those sensors anyway. I am considering to discharge the band, and remove the sensors on the back, and te plastic holding it, then seal it with epoxy. the goal is to make the band thinner by doing this. Does somebody know if it will still work (without the sensor data, ofcourse). Or will it just be dead when the sensor pcb is not present?
i just removed the sensor, the band still works perfectly, including the accelerometer (i thought this also was on the sensor pcb). cutting the sensor away makes it possible to make the band ca 3-4mm thinner (estimation). For people also wanting to do this upgrade: avoid the wires from the lipo, on my band these wires where folded to the backside of the band

I guess your band 4 was not properly sealed, this may be because of a poor adhesive factory error from xiaomi. Yes, your band 4 is still water resistant but the water pressure level and a time the band is able to withstand water is reduced.

it is very possible but it is very difficult except you order directly from the oem device manufacturer themselves which is Xiaomi. the band for is still very new in the market and getting a replacement but will be very very difficult.

125 mah is the minimal, 135 mah listed on the specsheet is the typical rated, meaning that the battery is made to hold 135 mah, but no battery is perfect that's why there is minimum capacity rated which is 125 mah, in short the battery capacity you get will be somewhere along 125mah - 135mah
