The 318 is looking good! That's a very hefty disk, took me a minute to realize it was a Brinly. All the Brinly ones I have seen are two single-row disks hooked together.

Yeah at first I couldn't tell weather it was a brinly or not after i sent you the ad. Then I got looking at it more and compared it with pictures from other brinly disks. Last Saturday my grandfather looked at since he was close and said it was in good shape and not seized up and has been greased in its life. Then the next day we went and picked it up. Its crazy how fast things happen.

Yeah when you find a good deal, passing it up isn't much of an option. I bought my Brinly plow for $100 and it was right around the corner from my house, I actually had to email the seller after the craigslist ad expired to see if it was still available. But the thing was restored a long time ago and plows great!

Wow $100 that's a great price for one of them. We originally wanted a 3 point plow but there was none for sale last year. But of course this year the has been 3 I've seen so far. That's usually what happens. But they we asking a lot for there condition in my opinion.

The three-point plows are ridiculously expensive. They seem to be the same quality as a sleeve hitch plow and the sleeve hitch plows are much easier to adjust and install/remove so I would have bought a sleeve hitch plow anyway.

Yeah I do agree. When it comes down to it price is everything. Now that we have it adjusted it works just fine.

Sweet disc I will be buying one in the very near future from my friend and I've got a video of it behind my 332 doing a little discing you should check it out and yes those discs are really heavy. And they do a way better job than the single gang Brinly discs. You defiantly could use some front weight as well because if you're not careful you'll do a pretty good wheelie.

Thanks for the comment! I've seen your video when you were discing I just forgot to comment lol. After i saw it is when I really started looking and I found this one. I have a front weight bracket and two John Deere suitcase weights for the front. That should be enough weight for that as well as the plow.

You're welcome! I think that might be enough weight I run four and it keeps the front end planted I actually tried to get it to wheelie and it would even on pavement the funny thing is it left two black tire marks on the road where it took off I also tried it on some grass and it just peeled the grass back this is also with those 50lb rear wheel weights I have. But not once did the front tires lift. Used to be it would carry a 20ft wheelie with the front tires a foot in the air with that disc on the back all while the engine was rolling coal looked cool just was a little scary at times.

Lol that sounded like it was a little to much fun! I've peeled some grass up as well but never left any marks on the road lol. If two weights isn't enough then I can just do a wheelie and all the neighbors will be like what is he doing now Lol. The only time(so far) that the front end has left the ground is when I was plowing our garden and it got hooked on a rock. I lifted up the plow instead the front end went up and she still pulled the rock out.

Just like I keep telling MichaelTJD60 diesel power is the way to go lol! Its not so much when you're pulling the disc its more when you're just driving around which if drive careful it wont wheelie but i sometime gave it a little more gas than I should have. Im hoping i'll get to use the disc some more this summer Im hoping to buy it from my friend who I actually bought my 332 from and have known for many years now he wants $400 for it which I think is a little high since the blades aren't in the best shape so I might try and talk him down to more like $325-350 as I think thats more in line with what they sell for vs the $400 he wants. But I also bought a 30 hydraulic tiller for the 332 just have to paint it and put it together and make a 3pt mount for it and i'll probably make some videos on it later this spring and summer should be neat.

I would like a 332 or 430 one day but the 318 has plenty of power for our yard.Last year i mowed grass on our back trails that was over the hood and didn't even phase her. That's the price I paid for mine and I don't think I did to bad on it. Especially since it has the original disks and everything on it.Once I paint it it will look good as new. But if you can get it cheaper id say go for it.I'm not sure what they are worth in nice condition. Can't wait to see the tiller.I was thinking of buying one of those instead of the disk but there never for sale around here.
