Looking into Belgium, found your videos, and am really digging what you guys show. Also find you way more relatable than most other content creators. Got yourself a new follower.
Indeed, they only should try to make the streets cleaner. It's disgusting, why can't they penalize these people. Hope the politicians keep their promises to give this area an upgrade (in a good way).
they should have ignored brussels complete.. literately EVERY other town/ city is better/cleaner. ALL of them.. like trump said, brussels is a sh*thole.
Very informative, comprehensive and entertaining. I like it that you compare things in Brussels and Berlin, and talk about the prices of things there, too. Thanks a lot, you two. PS: Looking forward to watching your other videos. :-))))
I have been to Brussels several times and you guys showed some things I did not knew it was around. Thank you for that. I must go to Brussels again. The Parc Cinquantenaire or Jubelpark has been created by King Leopold III to commemorate 50 years of Belgian Independence of the Netherlands in 1880 (Belgium became independent in 1830 or 1839 according to the Dutch) The Arcades de Cinquantenaire are actually not a loose gate like the Brandenburg Gate. It is part of the the Palais de Cinquantenaire which three museums. Autoworld, The Royal Museums of Arts and History (Musées royaux d'art et d'histoire/ Koninklijke Musea voor Kunst en Geschiedenis: Museum Kunst & Geschiedenis en Afgietselwerkplaats) and the Royal Military Museum (Koninklijk Museum van het Leger en de Krijgsgeschiedenis/ les Musées de l'armée) Also in the park there is the Grand Mosque and Temple of Human Passions. That park alone will fill you a day. The Royal Palace is only open after July 21st and in August just like the Royal Gardens in Laeken.
Sigh, this made me miss Belgium. We totally lucked into being in Brussels when the flower carpet was at Grand Place - simply gorgeous! I can’t wait to see your video from Bruge - one of my favorite places in all of Europe! (Can you tell by now that I’m binge watching your vids?).
Thank you for all your videos on Brussels and Bruge. I was trying to research it online and things seemed a little bleak or not obvious. Other videos I'd watched were not as useful, well shot, in-depth or entertaining. You guys definitely were so I've subscribed and gone back through the videos to make sure I've liked them too. Cheers :)
Thank you so much Samia 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Means a lot! Glad we could help and hoping that you have an amazing trip! Currently working our way through SE Asia and also have some great material from there when you are ready 😃
Just wanted to let you guys know that I took my boyfriend to Brussels for his birthday and we had he BEST time! We literally ate and drank our way through the city and we couldn’t have been happier. Your advice helped a lot so thanks! ❤️
The flea market you visit (at the Place du Jeu de Balle) is the one you see in the opening scene of Steven Spielberg's movie "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn". The buildings as you see them in the movie are accurate. Check out the DVD if you weren't aware of this!
This is a great what to do video in Brussels. We will be going to Belgium and the Netherlands for three weeks and I'm trying to keep all the things to see organized as I research. Can you comment o how you create and store your itineraries ?
Thanks Tim! We research what we want to do prior to going and then map everything out on Google. Typically we aim to do 3-4 activities per day (max) as filming takes time in each location. Safe travels ✌🏼
Hi guys, great video, so informative. Was the market called Midi market? Also, you quote 2 prices for things like the Moroccan pancakes, do you pay tax in the street market and are prices shown in shops the final price? Cheers.
HI guy, I just watched all of your videos tonight. I love your content and the way you present it. It's a slow start but you will have 25k subs within a year. It would be great if you can do a few videos of how much everything has cost so far and about the decision to stay traveling longer than the initial plan. I'm curious about the month gap between videos. Keep it up! BTW, you said you started as friends. Are you still just friends or a couple now?
Cinquantenaire --> was built at the 50th (50 = cinquante in French) anniversary of belgium's Independance , and was built by king Leopol 2 thanks to money made from the colony in Congo. Thanks for the video, you guys made some interesting visits
hahaha those green birds are hilarious, I lived in Kraainem for 14 years as well as living in Bosnia for 4 and now living in Scotland for 3, hopefully move back to my homeland soon but I remember playing for Kraainem and having our training sessions or walking my dogs in the fields there those green birds would fly like an arrow formation and go up and down really fast, impressive bunch. Although I would say, Brussels is a bit bigger than just being able to do everything on foot lol, if you mean touristic locations maybe, as most are in the center or in the northwest but I remember one day before I knew to drive I decided to buy a ps4 in the other side of Brussels in Berchem St. Agath and I had JUST enough for the console not for the metro ticket, took me 2 and a half hours just to get there, had to call my dad to pick me up after work for the way back lmao
Drone laws are a touchy subject. They are constantly changing. As we’re not officials and probably not the best to give legal advice on drone piloting, our recommendation is to check online before your trip to see if there are any new laws or requirements for flying. I can tell you that we've never had an issue, anywhere we've been, with airport security trying to confiscate our drone. Hope this helps! Safe travels!
Very interesting facts about Belgium, it's in English as well : www.expatica.com/be/about/Top-Belgian-inventions_681232.html and www.expatica.com/be/about/30-facts-about-Belgium_108729.html
Why you never been in Italy? Or have you been and no video? You always say food in Vietnam or else is so good. But that is N O T H I N G, zero, if compared to Italy. Go there.
I cannot imagine why Brussels is influenced by the portugese...Brussels is the centre of the european community and you can meet lots of other europeans...
This was a really good video from Brussel. Tons of good tips crammed into 10 minutes. No bull, just quality. Professionally made too. Well done!
Thank you 🙏🏼

The two prices are the converted euro to dollar rates. All prices are final 😃

Do you recommend to have rental car to travel to different cities in Belgium or public transportation is good enough?
We used public transportation the whole time and got along great!
