Got in a Stalingrad match where I was arty. Team had been trying to take Pavlov's for 15 minutes so I drop smoke for them where I think the enemy is based on where I see blueberries positioning. The smoke lands and I ask, "How accurate was that smoke? Did it help?"
"Not really it blocked our view of the enemy."
They were able to get on the point after that though.

There’s a problem with the mosin and SVT40 not being 1 shot kills to the vitals past 250m idk if they know about it yet but a lot of people have been complaining about it it’s a 7.62x54r it’s the longest serving military cartridge in history for a reason almost identical ballistic performance as 30-06 and 8mm mauser if you get shot in the chest you should be dead period

Exactly. I own a 1938 Mosin Nagant. Those rounds can shred a 5" tree, imagine a body...
They need to buff the Mosin Nagant sniper damage at long range - it seems to require 2 hits to kill which is super annoying!
Yes, Russian snipers have to be deadly just like they were in real life. Especially in Stalingrad
i own a couple of those in real life at 1200 yrds the bullet raises 30 stories

I agree about the Mosin sniper's damage. It is BS right now and needs to be looked at.
I played a match on Kursk with it and I was hitting chest shots at 230-250m, almost every person I hit would survive and run off. A few times I hit a center mass shot within 50m and they would go prone and start to bandage themselves.
The K98 sniper drops them almost every time at the same distance.
Love how the scope reticule is on screen before looking down the scope lol. So many new little bugs.
Stalingrad is a sniper's paradise. One game i got 67 kills as a sniper. cheers dude

Great video. Sometimes, i get like 50 or so kills with snipers or tanks, but i always felt like is more fun going with your squad and planing things. This is game demostration game of how teamwork wins games, not kills.

great video with a lot excellent shots. (very surprise at 10:29 with so many kills in that buildingand enemy ream did nothing to respond )
but that is also why I don't feel comfortable with this map. I do like fighting in towns than in the fields, but in Stalingrad I often got shot from rifleman or sniper that only had a rough direction and toke and entire squad many respawns before they can clear the area or get pass.
Hope someday there will be someone with a clip or a tutorial on how to against snipers team. XD

Another Gem of a video from the Alpine Sniper ;) BTW, I believe the issue with shots not getting through on this new map is that they haven't yet refined the borders of all the assets, which in turn means that the edges of everything static on the map has like a foot of invisible border around it that blocks a lot of shots?..."maybe"??? :s

Alpine, I play on console and notice when you are sniping the reticles sometimes look different than what I have. Is there a custom reticle for PC or is it just a slight difference between the versions of the game?
I shot a German yesterday 3 times at point blank range with a Garand and he still did not die... Update 10 is a mess so far haha
I wouldn’t say that, just a few minor fixes like optimization and hit reg and it’s a great game… thought it already is a great game

Yeah I agree, I just think bolt actions need to be one hit kills almost no matter what to keep up with the autos
I wish they would optimize this game more, lots more players would come flocking to it.

Some great shooting. Seems the Mosin sniper has slower rounds than other snipers. Once you had the lead on your targets dialled in you owned. Strange how they're not one hit kills at range even on a body shot in U10. Is it the same for all sniper rifles now or just the Mosin?

I see the hit registration is still broken...lazy devs.
They need to improve the reckon roles. I'm sick of playing as a solo player, finding someone that's happy to be a spotter and not sniper, then have them leave through connection drop out or what ever reason it is. And then have them replaced by someone who instantly kicks you from the sniper role so their mate can join. It drives me fucking nuts especially when your 40 mins in. It favours groups and clans and not solo players only.
