guys Vaseline should only be used on the ends of the hair, not all over it, and you should use a mild amount not the whole bottle, (really just pass your finger over the Vaseline once and that’s it) all these comments saying they had to use 3 bottles of shampoo to take it off probably applied tons… You all have to learn that LESS IS MORE, and MORE WILL NEVER BE MORE, applying too much doesn’t mean better results.
Now, Vaseline isn’t really a moisturizer, it’s used for slugging, it traps the moisture, so it’s supposed to use AFTER moisturizers.
Please read a thing or two before misinforming others on the internet, and for the others, do not believe everything you read, people love drama and will always exaggerate what actually happened and only because they used the products wrong!!

My mom did this and she literally ended up using the whole bottle of shampoo. And you know what is worse, the Vaseline still didn't get away. It took her 3-4 days, tons of shampoo and a lot of effort to wash the Vaseline completely away.

I used that one time and it took six or seven hair washes to get it all out.

Actually i tried this before and whenever my hair gets frizzy or dry i apply natural Vaseline to it and it dries and become much better so its good for hair bc i tried it and it helped with my hair growth alot.
Vaseline can also be used for lips as lip scrub or lip mask u should take an amount of little finger of vaseline and add some sugar and mix very well and apply to lips then scrub a bit and cover ur lips with plastic paper or whatever its called, anyways and then leave it a bit about an hour maybe more and wipe ur lips and thank me later 🌼✨
You Can also grow out ur nails with vaseline by making a recipe for nails so bring a bowl or a jar and put in it olive oil and add a lemon or half lemon juice squeeze it all in that olive oil and u can get enough with this and if u want to grow nails super fast then add to the two ingredients Grated garlic and dip ur finers in the jar and let stay in for 5 mins for each hand and then get ur hands out and let them dry out in abt 20mins and then go wash that off with water and soap.

Hey there! I’m a pre med student studying in dermatology and you shouldn’t be using Vaseline on your eyelashes! It can trap moisture and clog the pores where your eye lashes grow and also your eyelashes would not grow after one coat of Vaseline it is proven and Vaseline does not “grow your eyelashes” it helps with breakage and if you continue your eyelash pores will be so clogged they will fall out.
Guys please don't use vaseline on your hair. The last time I used it my hair fell out horribly and I ended up with bald spots and so many bumps on my head. They were so painful I couldn't style my hair in those areas

I use castor oil. In fact I have some on my edges right now. Because my hair is in braids. I mix with favorite conditioner. Apply over night , and rinse in am. My hair is thicker, soft and super shiny .

Ok for everyone wondering what to do if you put it all over your hair and it’s not coming out let me tell you. First dont panic panicking will make this situation worse. Next go grab dawn dish soap and baking soda go into the shower and start with a regular shampoo(a clarifying shampoo works better but regular will still work) mix the baking soda and dawn together with a little bit of water and scrub into hair. Rinse and repeat a few times. Then use your regular shampoo one last time and then use some conditioner rinse it out and then it should be way better. You can also blow dry to help get some out if there is still some left then repeat the next day. For me it worked in one day but I still recommend doing two days if it works the first just to get everything for sure out. Hope this helps!

Vaseline is very hard to get out don’t try this and it also ruined my skin I always had natural Glas skin and I put Vaseline on ONCE and now I’m always breaking out :(

Funny story, when my little brother was about three, he decided to add some vaseline one his hair while his family were busy when we finally saw him, he hasd vaseline all over his hair and my mum pit a ton of baby powder on to try get it off but kt wouldnt work. In the end my mum decided to make him sleep with a towel over his head and left it at that. In the morning, she washed the hair again and choped off the hair that stil had vaseline on it. If you do choose to try it however, you may do so at your own risk. I'd try a patch test on your arm for a few weeks if you never used it before or are unsure. Then if that goes well, maybe try on a small area of your head and hair for awhile to see if it's okay for you. However, if you notice any skin issues, or allergic reaction, which has been said to be rare, I'd discontinue asap, and keep the area clean until healed. Also you may need to consider consulting with your doctor if needed or more concerns arise.
I'd also advise not using it in conjunction with other hair or skin products. Everyone's skin and hair is different. Likewise everyone has different needs and hair care methods. So what works great for me, might not really work for you. I'd do research on your hair and skin type by the way to see if it may be okay for you.
