Friendly tip for pacers and crew: never ask "how do you feel?" Instead, ask "What do you need?"
Exactly
Facts
mind game 🔥
Absolutely!
I’ll be on crew at the Robbers Cave 100 next year, I’m more nervous about that than any race I’ve been in.
Thanks for the tip.
"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." I might have choked up at those words. What an inspirational video! You have a new subscriber here.
I was going to say, it's probably hard for him to find anyone to date or socialize with, since he's "better" than 99.99% of people. He probably can't stand people around sedentary people or people who complain about minor inconveniences
I'm considering tattooing that on my forehead
Sounds so romantic
It’s apparently an African proverb. But who knows.
One of the best quotes I’ve heard!
As soon as I finished the video yesterday, I went on my second 21Km run. I embraced the suck and made my PR 1:40:59. Thanks for the inspiration Nick.
flats or trails?
Let's go! I have my first half marathon coming up in a little over a month, I'm excited and anxious
Go get it buddy
Mate that’s very impressive well done I’m a bit off that 2:01:50 but starting a new program so hopefully this will be smashed soon
Did David goggins run past you yelling, "Who's going to carry the boats"...
Everyone's impressed by nick but I'm impressed by the camera man that ran the race with him to get the footage and had all the gear on him at the same time
It's great when the boss talks the talk and walk's the walk.
And runs the run
People will follow someone like that to the edge and back. It's awesome to see when it happens.
And roids the roid.
@@RDJ2 hey a lot of guys can run hundreds of miles and look like Superman while doing it …
@@saljablo2767 you say that but you have no proof. Almost anyone could do this without roids with the right training ETC granted it will take a long period of time.
I don’t comment this anywhere but, this company, this logo, this team, Nick, the mission of this company and the message it is providing is much more than just a company selling product or producing content. Nick and everyone involved, his customers, supporters, athletes to the average “joe” are all apart of an amazing thing. Thank you Nick and to everyone for inspiring us, and to inspire you all. I stand for everything you continue to do. Thank you Nick. Much love and best of luck with everything else that awaits.
I couldn't agree with this statement anymore. It's so incredible the impact nick and his team have had on my life and so many others.
Let's goooooo!
Very well articulated; couldn't agree with you more!
I feel this! Nick and his team are the real deal!
Such a great company, I wear the hat every triathlon I do.
When I was running my marathon I saw another guy there with a go one more hat. We became unspoken running buddies for the first 20 miles. This brand that Nick and his team built is definitely more than a brand, it’s something to live by.
Currently training for a 50 miler. I did a 50 miler 8 years ago for my 50th birthday. I was a long time marathoner. But was very untrained, I finished but it was ugly. Now at 58 yrs. I want redemption. I am running my 50 miler April 2024 . And plan on my first 100 October 2024 at age 59. Thank you for sharing your 100 miler. God bless you!
Very inspiring all the best for April and the 100 miles in October. 👏🏾✨💯
April is approaching you got this!
yo, let us know how it goes. You got this!!!
Good luck this month. Really awesome comment. 25 years old here. Very inspirational
How did it go?
This is absolutely insane. I thought biking 100 miles was tough. But running 100 miles and at such high elevation and with such crazy vertical climbs. I am truly speechless.
The fact that Nick never allowed his mind to give up is exactly how he finished this race. Great job everyone!
Yeah dawg that's kinda what ultra running is all about. Or any long distance event for that matter
At 5km/ hr....slower than walking pace no one will give up !!!!
@@truth-Hurts375 shut up, if nobody quits do the Leadville brother, your opinion will change very quickly!!
TRT helps
ARMY STRONG!
Between Nick Bare and David Goggins y’all got me so motivated everyday I can’t get enough! Thank you! Go one more! stay hard!
Same! I couldn’t have ran a marathon or ultra without those two guys. I’m motivated by Eluid Kipchoge as well! Worlds greatest marathon runner!
100%!! 💪
Absolutely. Stay hard, go one more. 🚀
We’re comparing NB to DG….people need to chilllllllll
@@ChewieTomatoes1 who’s comparing? You’re bringing corny blog clickbait energy to a comment section inspired by 2 incredible human beings. Kick rocks.
I just ran my first 10km run watching this whole video as motivation while running. I ran it in 1h08min43sec and started running this week. I used to hate running as didn’t have any cardio but 6 months of bjj made me able to do this and you’re an inspiration.
how’s it going?
@@emeralff881 😅
Having all that muscle on you makes things so much tougher on these endurance races, so for you to complete that the way you did is even that much more amazing, congrats man.
Yes. He’s definitely built for anaerobic exercise not aerobic. His finishing shows his toughness.
"if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together".
Got my first 100 miler coming up this Saturday. Just watched this with my wife so she knows how to crew and what to expect. Great job and very inspirational Nick!
Hope it went well max
How’d it go bro 😳
DNF at 60 miles. It was fun and will definitely try again.
@@Runnermax1 waw! awesome, keep training and go beyond limits :)
@@Runnermax1 right on man, stay the course.
I have followed Nick’s channel and really liked the content. I trained for two years for the Leadville 100 and the. Found out that Nick had entered. I ran into him on Hope pass and was so impressed. I told him how inspiring he is and he was great. I fished soon after him and they did amazing capturing the story.
As a Leadville, Colorado NATIVE born and raised I never ever understood why people would want to come to our small mountain town and run 100 miles. I always ask myself, are these people crazy or something? What do you get out of killing yourself just to run 100 miles? Well... after watching this amazing, motivating, documentary I can start to understand WHY. Congratulations to you and your team Nick, you've just gained a new follower and I want to thank you for motivating me to be the best I can be @ 10,200ft!
everyone is asking why ...what u get out of it etc.... i was like that ... i did train before a calisthenics ... never had doing any cardio training before ... i hated that ... then i stopped training alltoghether ... now after long 6 years of doing nothing i started again over a month ago ... start running, cycling, swimming, calisthenics again, preparing for my first spartan race and near the end of year im gonna go to finish the full ironman ... i didnt get why people are running marathons or trhiatlons or any cardio shit i hated all the time :D ...but i kind of fall in love with endurance disciplines and endurance training .. even tho i still hate running ..but im half way trhough the understanding what it is all about . I hate every run or cycle session at the start , struggling on the go but feel really good at the end of the session.
Very inspiring. BPN is a true representation of a family.
Fuckin love it nick!!! Congratulations brother…to you and your entire squad! It’s because of you I’m making the transition to a hybrid athlete! Give me 3 months and I’ll be back under this post! REMEMBER IT! Thank you so much man!
All due respect, I can’t credit Nick for the race as he obviously juices. He has an edge and I’m aware his team blow smoke up his ass and kiss the ground he walks on but let’s keep it real. He has an advantage over everyone else with the performance enhancing substances.
@@f3penang287 what does he take and how do u know??
@@Espresso_Breath you’ll have the evidence if you opened up your eyes and smelt the coffee. All these guys are being by exposed starting with christian guzman. They’ve had us fooled for years. If you stopped being a fanboy and understand bodybuilding you would know.
@@Espresso_Breath a typical fanboy reply. What do u want me to say? ‘Yes i went to nick and had him tested’ jeeez. I have finally woken up. Give it a few years u will too.
This feels like a documentary on discovery channel or National Geographic channel looking forward to watching the Leadville 100🙌🙌🙌🤘🏻 Nicks always pushing and trying new things! “Go one more” is a push in life keep going keep trying keep moving forward in what ever you do in life🎯
NICK DOESN'T STOP TAKING THINGS TO THE NEXT LEVEL!! It's incredible!
You are an inspiration, I started watching you 6 months ago and started to run daily , since then the past 6 months Ive ran a 10k, 2 half marathons, an yesterday completed my first full marathon. I was never a runner or in shape my whole life until I started watching your videos. Keep up all your hard work
That’s amazing!! Keep up the awesome work!
Man, I used to be an ambassador for BPN.. Nothing has fired me up more than watching this whole team help Nick complete 100 miles. Inspires me to compete and train for a trail run.
no joke, the finish line crossing gave me goosebumps
and watery eyessss
I thought it was really cool when the random guy on the side lines said “Rangers lead the way!”
I’m sure that was good morale boost for Nick.
Loved that moment!
He was a Ranger?
I've lived in leadville my whole life. I've seen this race happen 23 times. Let me just say that you runners are such better people than the cyclists. The amount of trash on my roads after the cyclists come through is unreal.
They
Aren’t you’re roads
@@rickgardner6353 he's been paying taxes in Leadville for 23 years, they literally are probably his roads man
@@rickgardner6353 They aren’t your roads. *
Cyclists are assholes lol any runner I’ve ever encountered has always said “hello/good morning/have fun today!” Cyclists act too cool and only nod their heads. It’s a surprise when they actually say something back.
If I'm driving, I hate runners.
When I'm running, I hate drivers.
But no matter my means of transportation, I hate cyclists. Even When I'm cycling.
Well done fellas. This is a great doc you put together! Nick you crushed it
This thing is bringing me to tears; what an incredible example of the power of community and team. Very, very well done, BPN Team!
I laughed. I cried. You took me to the top of the mountains and I felt your lows. What an amazing performance from a special guy and a great team. Bravo BPN.
I’ve been following you for several years now and always knew there was something different about your mentality and the way the people around you support you. This took my respect for you guys to an entirely different level. I’ll be a BPN fan for life after this one. I hope I can one day find people that push me to be better the same way that you guys all do for each other. Very well done.
I have just watched this again and it had me in tears. You are one outstanding human being Nick and you do inspire and motivate me so much!
I’ll never understand how people can dislike a video like this.
So worth the wait. Congrats Nick and the BPN team!!!
Stupidity
They are just haters I mean this is something that nobody gets invited to let alone an opportunity by far one of my favorites besides his sub 3 hour marathon and hitting his fastest pr for the 1st mile honestly hard to believe that too.
Exactly my thoughts when smashing that like button!
The dislikes is the toenails left behind
Seriously! My man ran 100 mile race & 126 ppl disliked it so far. Kidding me??? Haters lol
I drop so many kilos when I'm prepping for a tri or ultra. But they are great experiences.
There are something about endurance events that separate the men from the boys. Deadlifting 300kg is one thing but doing an iron-man, ultra or island to island run/swims is something completely different.
It's just a test of suffering. How much can you tolerate. How far can you push.
Doing the 2 concurrently is amazing and even though certain performance parameters will fluctuate and I'll never be the best at either, it's OK.
I love doing both.
Nick Bare consistently sets the example as to what it 'seizing the day means'.
AMAZING. Huge team effort, incredible storytelling throughout, props to everyone for putting this inspiring story together. Just completed my first ultra this weekend, going for a 100miler next year!
I think all runners can relate to being in that "dark place" it's hard to describe to people who haven't experienced how it feels, but this video captured it so well, an amazing effort by you and your team, well done!!
Go one More ! Did my first marathon this year!!
Congrats mate! Must have been a great feeling
I have watched this one at least 10 times and I could watch it every day! The feeling of “team” and combined accomplishment is truly inspiring! I love this group
This was so inspirational and one of the best videos I’ve ever watched, I used to keep up with you years ago when I first started lifting weights and to get recommended this video randomly and see how far you’ve came really shows what type of guy you are. Congratulations brother 🙏
“He ripped off his toenail and took off” built different
I've been following you for some time now as I'm a RR local. I can't even express to you how proud and inspiring you have been in my life and I haven't even met you. This movie was amazing and had me in tears when you crossed the finish line. The brand that you have created is everything that a person could wish for to experience in their lifetime. The relationships and friendships are something that I long for. Congratulations on this epic achievement and I can't wait to watch the next one!! You and your BPN team are truly amazing, Nick!!
This is awesome. You’re an inspiration for so many people but as a veteran I love how you’ve created a tribe of people around you. Amazing stuff Nick and BPN Team. Congratulations 🤘🏽
Got teary-eyed watching this. Nick is a hero. One of my inspirations in finishing my first marathon. thank you and your team!
I watch many of these recap/documentaries. You and your team, by far, gave the best feel for what an 100 mile event can be. I'm talking about the full coverage of what your support team went through and had to prepare. I really want to do an event like this and now know that it can't be done without a truly dedicated and loving team behind me. Fantastic job.
Best fitness documentary of my life. Nick you’ve motivated me to run a marathon by next year, doing my first half marathon in less than a month. Thanks man
Very inspiring Nick! Congrats to you and to the whole BPN squad! Just watching you go through exhaustion for hours and manage to keep going is just amazing!
Having a team is one, Building as Family is another Level. Congratulations Nick!
Wow!! Y’all’s ability to tell the story so well is amazing. What an accomplishment by not just Nick but, by the entire team. So inspiring and motivating. You guys are all BEASTS.
Thank you for sharing your journey and for motivating me to Dig Deep! As a fellow Veteran, I love that you’ve built a Team that truly understands what it means to support each other. You’re incredibly blessed!
You’re so inspiring. Having that attitude the whole race when in so much pain is so impressive. You’re the man
It's inspiring knowing people like Nick exist. Just crushing every aspect of life and showing us how to do the same.
This is a masterpiece and will watch it many times. I cried so much during the video but ultimately lost it at the finish line when he said "where the team" I will forever support you guys. BPN family for life!! ❤❤
This guy is literally living my dream right in front of me. I’ll get there some day, this is about to be the best video yet😤
This was more about the BPN family than Nick doing his ultramarathon. What a privilege to have such team on your back.
Amazing story and incredible content. I always enjoy watching these detailed documentaries covering ultras. You get such a deep insight to the individual, the crew, and the emotional rollercoaster that is an ultramarathon
Unbelievable accomplishment! I started watching and was in a trance for the whole documentary! Well done by you and your team! Go One More!
This is like my 4th time watching this and it is just so inspirational to see this group, this family come together to achieve a dream! Way to rock it Nick and the BPN family!
It’s really touching to see everyone on his team encouraging him and making sure he succeeds.
I think it’s awesome how you weren’t afraid to showcase the lows. This video is a very accurate depiction of what ultramarathons look like. Great job Nick!!
Watching this just gave me chills! The hours and commitment that was put into this race is just amazing to see! What an amazing team! What an amazing leader! #GO1MORE
Good to see the "behind the scene moments", the tremendous efforts, the motivation to achieve our dream not to mention the team spirit to make it happen.
I watch this video every treadmill long run I have, and listen to your podcasts on my outdoor runs. No music playlist can ever pump me up as much as your motivational speaking. Your content is epic and you & your team are just incredible. Love BPN
Wow. What an amazing story! Nick, the team that you have built is absolutely amazing. They are family. There aren’t many people like this in the world. Hold them close and never let go. Great documentary and I am looking forward to seeing your progress for years to come.
This is so motivating!! You're a beast Nick and shout out to the BPN team for putting together a sick documentary.
The biggest inspiration. You and the BPN team are beyond incredible, and we all have so much respect and love for you❤️
My favorite ultra running movie. I keep coming back to it.
Nick, you're an inspiration man. More than I can put into words, you truly inspire me. Thank you for all that you do.
I’d love to see how Nick’s recovery from this was - i wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of ppl would be getting around in a wheelchair for a almost a week after 100 miles
You would be surprised how you can recover with recovery run / walks and bike rides and lots of sleep .. I’m usually fine after 2 days , except I’m always super super hungry for days
Sounds counterintuitive, but a recovery run is the best way to get over the pain hump, first time someone told me about it I looked at them like they were crazy😂
I haven’t done an ultra yet but I usually recover from marathons within a few days. I run the morning after.
Blood heals, keep it movin.
Love to see a more muscular person do 100's (like Nick). As a trainer I got sucked in to 100's and noticed the lack of muscular athletes in the field of ultra's. There a few tho! Good work Nick!
Finally got time to watch this whole video just after nick finished his bodybuilding show. Just reaffirms you can do anything you set your mind to with enough hard work.
Thank you for sharing your story. Absolutely inspiring. Not with just words but with your actions. Truly shows what the body and mind can endure. You had such a great team helping you out the entire time.
This was incredible, BPN is truly special. What motivation you can gain by watching others achieve the unthinkable.
I did the 9/11 memorial at the Strat in Vegas for my Department. I trained up for it. I was confident going in…..half through I was hurting and I was hurting bad. I decided to change my plates from ceramic to steel on that day. I wanted to feel the pain. Mostly all because of Nick. He always pushes and on minute 33:32 I felt for him. You are motivation sir. Thank you.
Amazing race by Nick but impressed by the team he's built and how they all helped out to ensure Nick was successful. Just shows you how much of a great leader Nick is
What commitment is all about. Inspirational! True definition of putting the work as a team
nick, you along with casey neistat inspired me to sign up for my first half-marathon. one day i’d love to run a marathon as well. amazing and inspiring doc
Absolutely phenomenal. I have just brought my first pair of running shoes and am going to target a half marathon. You're incredibly motivating. keep it up!
This is just a masterpiece. You are a true inspiration Nick
Wow! The Journey, The Teamwork, The Unity is amazing. These moments are second to none. Thank you. You got my attention and interest.
Mind over Body. That was inspiring as hell. The BPN team is the definition of a family.
Definetely one of the best video seen on youtube recently. Storytelling and videoquality is superiore! big up for the team

Man, so amazing what a human being can push themselves through. Truly inspirational and emotional
Bodybuilder Nick = Ultrarunner with approx. 25kg backpack. Quite insane and big respect :)
Well done Nick - having recently completed my first ever virtual marathon, I can sorta compare to the feelings of pain, legs gone, hitting a wall and having to mentally push myself to complete the race! But this is on a whole other level..
Man, so awesome to see how everything around you has grown to what it is! I have been running ultras and creating running content for 7 years and would love to have this type of team/family/friends around me it has to feel amazing to be part of.
and as a content creator that has always had to shoot and edit all my own stuff, even filming myself during ultras...I am super jealous of the creative media team at BPN ...they do a fantastic job.
Amazing teamwork. Thanks for bringing us along. Gives us a glimpse into how hard these races are.
Nick you did it again so inspiring your mother would of been so proud of you, I love all the effort of everyone involved in this race they a family congratulations love to see your videos.

This is what you tube videos should be about, motivation, achievements and reaching your goals...getting inspired and motivated! 👏👏👏
Ran my first 100miler at 19. One of the craziest, hardest, most humbling experiences. 100 miles is a long way, and it’s insane what we can get our bodies to do when it just wants to quit. Amazing video and perfectly encapsulates the experience.
