The fact you are not a good jumper is why you are the only mountain biker channel I watch who has not been seriously injured. You make it okay to ride without wrecking ourselves. Thank you.

Exactly my thoughts as well! Vast majority of mine and friends significant crashes have happened in parks or just overall higher risk situations. But hey, some people love the rush, each to his own.
I’d rather bike xc all my life in nature than get sidelined with a major injury going big in a park for months.

@@emp6325 I mean there’s ways to progress safely for sure, but I’d say learning to jump gives you the bike handling skills to avoid a lot of crashes that would’ve happened otherwise

Good job, getting familiar with jumping can get frustrating at times! Before long you will look back and wonder why it was so difficult!

Great work, I used to suck at jumping and you just gotta go ride lots of jump lines and slowly build up and working on developing good jumping techniques and soon you'll hit stuff without thinking.

Rich is awesome. And his son is too cute. What a great opportunity you had to get all those jump reps. We expect a lot more jumping steez in your future videos. 😁

There's no better feeling then leaving the trail knowing you've leveled up, confidence up and just can't wait to send it

Edit: It would be awesome if you came to check it out

Dude! So much fun to watch the progression in this video. This was one of the best you've done. Hearing tips from Rich and listening to his feedback from both mics, it made for a great video. When is Part 2!?

Also had trouble progressing with jumps. Since I came from a more xc background I instinctively fought air time and squashed every jump I took landing short making doubles way to hard for me. Having a friend ride in front and filming me from the side was a great way to see what I was doing wrong and how to correct it.
