it doesn't do anything the other melees don't do better unfortunately, and the moveset is giga munted atm useless special, useless h2, lights 3 and 4 have zonked out damage distribution, and the pushattack is underpowered thankfully fatshark was looking into a rework so maybe it'll be fun to use in a couple of years
Im also part of the gang that believe (still believe) the shield is still underwhelming due to the moveset and the useless special. It got better thanks to the talent tree and bleed buff. Still, a Kourk cleaver could do better with the same heavy attack build in the vid.
romans used slings, but yeah they flung a ton of rocks at the people they conquered. one could even make a case that the brits learned the art of "rockin im" from the romans.
What's the tech that you're doing to do mostly punches for the shield? Is it just timing between starting each heavy? Edit: Ah, I figured it out. Tapping block after the initial attack interrupts the chain.

I am not ashamed. I will be the one to say it. I am a shield enjoyer. It is so satisfying to knock a crusher on its ass while feeling like an oversized spartan.
@@telopots True, can be nice with the damage reduction passive against bleeding things though after charging right into a big group. Idk im not the kid to test to see whats better lol will try both out of course and see what i like more also nice video
@@egbert5871thanks gamer the damage reduction thing is worse than it first appears it takes time to tick and actually count what's bleeding around you, which means if you kill the things before the tick happens you don't get a stack

Might be clicking block for a moment in order to basically reset the combo.
