Pitras Bukhari's Marhoom ke yaad main - Read by Zia Mohiuddin

Syed Ahmed Shah (Urdu: سید احمد شاہ ) (commonly known as Patras Bukhari - پطرس بخاری) (Hilal-Imtiaz), (1 October 1898, Peshawar -- 5 December 1958, New York) was an Urdu humorist, educator, essayist, broadcaster and diplomat from Pakistan. He is best known for his humorous writings in Urdu literature.
His volume of essays, Patras Kay Mazameen - پطرس کے مظامین (Essays of Patras), published in 1927 is considered as an asset of Urdu humor.
Marhoom Ki Yaad Main, is a fantastic and very interesting Urdu essay written by Patras Bukhari. Here it is read by famous narrator, Zia Mohiuddin

This was the most famous story in our high school Urdu textbook, I think it was always Patras Bukhari whose short stories with added humor were the favorite of all the students in our Urdu textbook. Patras Bukhari definitely knew the art of writing superhit humorous Urdu short stories. Patras Bukhari and Ibne Insha were definitely the most skillful humorous Urdu short story writers of Pakistan.
