Montréal is the largest city in Canada's Québec province. It’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Hey man, trust me when I say we feel the same way... it comes off as a real money grab and they want u to give more money as donations when u get in. It's very strange but I assume it's a historical landmark and it's for upkeep and maintenance more than anything else... at least I'd like to hope so.
