Thanks guys! I'm 60 and waiting for an anterior right hip replacement. Some days I can barely walk or do my stretches, etc. I'll practice this move and anything else you may have to strengthen and relieve constant pain. Thank you! Btw, congratulations on your marriage! I've watched you Jen for many years and I'm so happy for the two of you. Cute wedding pics. ❤
That was quite informative. From awareness to doing the breathing exercises to reversing the anterior or posterior tilt I believe I'm on my way to having the right posture.
Thank you both. I did the breathing with slight tilt forward. I found it reasonably easy (always room to improve) due to breathing in bodybuilding & yoga stretches. Have an awesome day 🙌❤️🏋️♀️👏
I've always felt like this was the reason I had lower back pain. When I was younger I never worked out strengthened any of my muscles. Then I started to run and my lower back pain got worse. I've started to realize it's a full body issue not just my lower back or my core
Hi Jared, I have a few videos on back pain you're welcome to check out! I also have a Lower Back Pain plan on my new PT platform jen.health . You're welcome to check it out and get a free week! ua-cam.com/video/ri905mfJSxQ/v-deo.html
I love your videos and congrats on tying the knot! I am working at realigning and regenerating my body after various types on pain I've encountered as of late and this one for sure I will add to my healing routine. I do have something I'd love if you guys can touch on is the fact that only one of my glutes fire when I'm working out. I'm doing single sided work to try to fire my left glute better but I realize a lot of my work is coming from inner /outer thighs and hamstring rather than the glute muscle no matter how hard I try. I did severe my ankle ligament on that side and am working at healing it with my mind and balance routines but would like to see if you guys had any educational forethought into this. Thanks! I share your videos with everyone I know!! Keep it going 😙
I have foot/ankle pan I think you may really like! It's on my new platform jen.health . This actually has several different PT plans you can choose from. Hope this helps!
Very informative as always. How about something on posterior pelvic tilt? You have done quite a lot on anterior in the past but us PPT folk could do with some of your insight too! Common in swimmers. Congrats on the wedding too!
- More about this foundational breathing & the nervous system link! (Jen maybe one with a lighter shirt so we can see better!) - More about SI (how to keep it in place) - More about fixing "rib out" #painful & tight scapula area (so tired of going to the chiro to fix) - While working thru issues/getting new foundations.....is lifting heavy (not crazy heavy but like, 3 sets of 6-8 and to be sweating) not optimal for the body when trying to fix al these things? said another way......It is worth it to lift even med weight or should we just do bodyweight while working thru these issues?

Question:: the chicken or the egg?? I have spondylolisthesis @ L5-S1…. I truly feel I should an inch or two taller….but here I am at 5’6”. All the muscle attributes u mentioned: tight back and hip flexors and forever long hams…and what feel like weak abs…keep my a little achy! I watch ur vids to learn to better my posture and consciously try to pull my navel to my spine…I’d love to learn more about breathing exercises to help influence sympathetic vs…I’m guessing-sympatholytic (?) responses!!?? I ask that question because I think u said something about high chest breathing and the sympathetic response!! Do u have more on that??

can we expand chest to increase lung capacity with dumbbell pullovers and Rader pulls
You can definitely impact your chest cavity volume through shoulder movements and exercises!
