Hello, I find myself In the same situation as you. I am a 25 years old man (exactly half of your age) and on Friday nights I always stay home too. Even all week for that matter. I don’t have any friends or social life. I like to play retro video games or listen to old music like the Beatles. But sometimes I would like to find a girlfriend or maybe have something else to do. I think that society has become more isolated since the Covid crisis, and I don’t feel any connection with anybody it’s sad. I think technology as well has made people more distant. I hope you find peace of mind and solve your crisis. I like to think of you as my friend when I watch your videos. P.S I have much interest in Japanese culture and life and I started to teach myself hiragana & katakana. I will need much practice as it is completely new language to me. I was very isolated after college in my 20's. I had a boyfriend, but I still felt kind of alone. It's funny because my life became considerably better as I progressed through my 30's. I'm on a bit of a down swing right now but it will get better. It always does. Are you in the US? The politics are really tense. So much uncertainty in the world. I found myself wishing for an alien invasion a few times in the past month, lol. Not sure if that makes you feel any better or not. But I empathize! Hang on, the potential for things to get better is still there.
i believe its called talking-head videos im not sure tho dont take it as gospel but a talking-head video consists of someone talking directly to a camera but may also be classed as a vlog too as its a video blog on a subject matter that relates to them or something they know hope this helps 👍
I saw one of your videos and these keep getting recommended to me. I feel compelled to give you friendly advice. If you seem to have constant struggles, its because you're not facing your emotions. You have a habit of regulating them. Regulating with food or escapism in video games or even making these videos. But in life you need to embrace your emotions, especially the negative ones. They are road signs telling you to take action. Find the cause of them and relieve yourself from them. And along the way, search for more healthy ways to regulate your emotions like walking, meditation, exercise, etc. This is the best path to a truly fulfilling life. If you don't seek out fulfillment, the best you can feel is relief. Doritos and Pepsi provide relief after a hard and stressful week, but they will never provide fulfillment. And without fulfillment, you will always find yourself needing relief.
@@peterjhpark4782 Of course he's free to do so, like I said I felt compelled to at least illuminate a path for someone who might need it. If not him, then someone watching who sympathizes with him. But everyone has to choose their own way. If this is the life he prefers, it's his to live.
@briantbb2749 that is so true!! I think japanese people usually have a lot of guilt and shame when it comes to showing negative emotions and also feeling them is probably difficult..but the best way really is feeling ALL of it! And then taking action when knowing the root cause, for me i started to have panic attack at some point because there were emotions that were not supposed to be there, like a feeling of loneliness that made me feel a bit helpless even, only now i try to connect with more people and on a deeper level and my panic attacks are gone😊

In my opinion sugar and processed junkfood increase your stress. The best way to release stress is to go out for a walk, and even better start running. Adding a gym would make that even better.

To people who think eating junk is bad and health nuts out there. I always tell them “I’m here for a good time, not a long time”. And besides doesn’t matter how healthy anyone is. Once anyone gets to 60 all bets are off, life and health will take its toll no matter what, even if you only took cheat days once a week or once a month, death will always find us.
People who eat poorly are unhealthy nuts. You are here to live a good life. You live every day. You die only once. Best to live as well as you can by not killing yourself. Trust me being ill in hospitals isn't a good time including for your family. No not all bets are off after 60. If you can make it to 80 or longer without medications you're doing it right.
