Millium's persistence paid off.
He didn't trust or like her at first, in his first dialogues about Millium he kept saying he would expose her, show her true colors etc, he didn't want her in class VII also because she was a spy from the Intelligence Division... and then look at how far they've come, that's so sweet
The ending was amazing. The Divine Knights all assembled together one final time to deliver a miracle by saving everyone’s favorite lady’s man Crow. Man I absolutely adored Trails Of Cold Steel. I never played RPG’s but my cousin made me try Trails Of Cold Steel 1 when I was 14. 4 years later, I continuously watch videos on this game and I cannot wait to start playing the other Legend Of Heroes games. The game wasn’t perfect obviously but I felt the ending was profound. All of the original class 7 was able to finally live through their terror and new class 7 will continue the legacy.

Ah, I finally finished watching it. Thank you February Night for uploading your playthrough with the english subs. Though I have a lot of issues with both endings and I know I will definitely cry again during my own playthrough come next year's PC release, it was a profound experience to finally witness the end of the Erebonia arc. It has been many years since I played trails in the sky and ever since then, I have always imagined what Erebonia was like as Olivier always mentioned the place. And seeing all those faces together in one place, the protagonists and support characters of Liberl and Crossbell Arcs, I just can't hold back my emotions. Man, the feels of these games. Thank you so much. Now I feel like crying again.
That is a really nice way to showed all the MC of past games fighting together plus my favorite Estelle.

Thanks for uploading this story, the only way to see it was in English since I speak Spanish and I could know how the story ended, I saw it from the beginning to the end, I love this story and I fell in love with the entire saga, I hope it comes out the English version to be able to play it completely.

No game is perfect after all. But I can safely that The Legend of Heroes is one of the most profound and beautiful game series ever made.
Too bad he is such a characterless protagonist, its really hard to empathise with him. I actually would have prefered if he died and i adore happy endings usually. He is just too special o.O

Also, remember how Rean makes the rousing speeches before every major battle? In the last raid to the floating fortress to fight Ozzie and his posse, he let everyone else put together a rousing speech instead.

Yes, my favorite game in the whole series. And yes it has its Ups and downs but for me the Ups were the biggest in the series easily eclipsing the lows. And of course the fact that my boy Rean was finally happy in the end helps

This really was a nice ending, and see as the director of the Kiseki series has announced that they are already working on both the next main line game(the protagonists are supposed to be Ouroboros members as well/ and class VII is supposed to make an appearance also), and a spin off of Trails of Cold Steel that takes place after 4, I really just can’t wait for what the future of this series holds

Man, Hajimari no kiseki will be noice. I think its safe to assume that the next main protags wont be from Calvard since they're done with western erebonia. I hope we get to see eastern side.

Agreed. There’s just so many I want to try out. The entirety of the Stalhritter, Xeno and Leo, Vita, Viscount Arseid, Rose, Lloyd, Estelle, Joshua, man I could go on. Falcom really did spoil us with the ability to play with so many characters at the end.
US release in 2021 for Switch and PC! They announced it on April 1st but it’s real.

So I noticed a couple of things from the wedding illustrations at the end.
1. They included people who weren't even in Cold Steel: Zin, Ein, Noel, Wazy, Kevin and Ries. But poor Sister Cecil and General Wallace didn't get an invite to the party??? RUDE! Lol!
2. Every character's face is shown on that picture... except Ilya's. What could be the reason for that, I wonder? I'm making my prediction right here, right now. I don't think we've seen the last of her. And not in a good way, either. Grandmaster???

And if you haven't noticed already, you were somewhat correct about Ilya in Hajimari no Kiseki. Not going to spoil if you haven't gone through it yet.
3 games, and a whole other series prior built up to this point. An amazing final battle.
Wish Osborne had more time with his son so that he can make up for lost time and get a chance to be his father its sad he didnt get the chance. and that they would have shown more affection for each other. Im a bit sad they didnt. And i wish he didnt have to die. so sad to see this series end. There was a lot of sad moments but I'm glad it had a happy ending but wish there was more. I'd like to see more interaction between the characters after it ended.and it would have been a happier ending if Osborne lived and he got the chance to spend just as much time with him then teo did if not more. And make up for lost time. I would have liked that ending in my opinion. Because this is still kinda sad to me. Wish there where happy anime and video game ending where no one has to die that has a good story. Instead of sad and bittersweet one kinda like this.
I agree with some of those points but man did Osborne piss me off haha. Best part about all of this is that the series is only about 60% complete! We have a lot more Trails to go!

But he also had a sad past and after seeing it we cant really be mad at him i know it doesnt excuse his actions but still atleast in my opinion anyway. and I still really liked him and I still think he should get the chance to be a father to rean it's never to late. And it would have been a much happier ending In my opinion. :( sorry still really sad about the ending.

So, is it impossible to do all the final bosses in a single path? That's a bit disapointing if the the only way to play the true ending is by skipping the other 2 fights. I do like my sequential final boss battles.

Original ending is cool, but I think Rean and Co. went through so much, they deserve the true ending. Additionally, the whole different ending thing strongly reminds me of Ao no Kiseki/Trails of Azure plot twist!
@@februarynight8522 This is the 3rd instance of possible reality tampering in the erebonian arc, so most likely that's what happened.
Yeah, both endings probably happened... its just the timeline was tampered with to alter events and resulted in the true ending which will be used going forward
@Rick Saber the other ending deviates to much from the ending fomular of the Trails series. Therefore me and others believe this ending to be canon.

It was originally grey/silver in the first too games and when he was revived by the gnomes it became White. Basically he was affected by the curse like Rean and got pure white hair.
I just wished that Rean and Laura got married too in the end. It was really a nice journey playing this series from Legend of Heroes with Estelle and Joshua and up to this last saga. They're all connected. :)
I would ship him with Fie, but I guess they have more of the brother/sister dynamic

As good as this series is in consistent storytelling, the gameplay, and music, this series is not without faults.

Hey there! I quite thoroughly adore the whole series. However, if I had to select a gripe: The bonding system.
Personally, I prefer straight up canon romances like Estelle and Joshua (especially because this is a series where characters return in future arcs). This allows for their feelings to be a critical part of my main plot.
But if they do the harem thing I hope they change two aspects of the Cold Steel model: 1. Allow players to see all bonding events on their first playthrough. And 2. If it's a harem, don't force/push one of them on the protagonist more than the rest.

I checked his comment on Feb Night’s Act 2 1/8 vid and found his “arguments” baseless.
Honestly, if straight up romances were put in this game and the Final Bonding Choices were removed, then Rean and Alisa would be an item.

No the is the last Trails of Cold Steel game. There’ll probably be another legend of heroes game eventually but most likely it’ll follow a different main character and be set somewhere else

@@deathbykonami5487 Dont know about broad, its uncolored by emotional attachment maybe, because I do not care for the character unlike other people who like Claire or Lechter. But yes, from a broad prespective, perspective of a normal person, their actions are nothing short of monstrous. Their actions, reasons and even goals were nothing good, hence why they are villains of course, unfortunately CS has a tragic syndrom of making everything seem hunky dory, no matter how evil stuff actually is and all the villains have their redemptions and such, even if they do not deserve any imo.
Not to mention, the whole thing about Osbourne being beholden to the curse is a whole another can of worms, we dont know how and how much it controls him, what it allows and such. Makes the "twist" even worse and the people knowing of this and still following him even stupider.
1:23:15 Not gonna lie, I feel like this game don't give Kevin and Ries any justice there, they are main protagonist in the 3rd Sky game, they should appear in this game as well since it trying to be an "Avenger" game. The same can go to new SSS members in Ao no Kiseki.

You have to do all the final day quests, get all the lost arts and then go to courageous, you'll get a call from toval

PS: I wonder how they will handle the possible return of Rean in future (or the finale) saga, that's the first time that the MC relationship is up to the player and Rean can be either single or in couple with 10 different girls (if i didn't miss any), that will need a lot of work :/ (i don't think they will just fuck the fanbase by just making Rean single)

@@tantofaz7580 I don't think so, if they don't want to follow the romance the player chose (and that would be really not cool) they'll just make him single, chosing one of the romance while they gave the player the choice would be a huge fuck to the community
since there here is 10 different romance (Laura, Alisa, Fie, Emma, Towa, Sara, Alfin, Juna, Altina and Musse if i didn't forget any) that are pretty balance in term of popularity, even the more popular one aren't by much so, for example

No, you just need to complete a specific side quest.
where is reans swordsmanship ranked at this point in game?
He received the title of Divine Blade (of Steel if I remember correctly), which means he is equal to cassius bright and arios (rank wise at least). Realistically, hes probably still a bit weaker than those two based on differences in experience, but he is one of the most powerful practitioners of the eight leaves and probably on the level of most enforcers canonically. (Thats just what Ive read once or twice, I dont think its ever outright stated in game.)

Beat the secret holy beast: Argres. The same as CS3 final boss, but not cursed form. Inside Auros Coastal Road.

Realistically speaking, what did you expect? How are they going to force the strongest country on the continent to disarm when even with Mille Mirage they were at disadvantage, and after the two days war most of the alliance like Remiferia, Liberl, Arteria and so on will probably opt for the fastest solution and cheapest peace? The Republic might complain but what are they going to do? And regarding Jurai and North Ambria, they are too poor to be very eager to secede.
So CS4 is the last season isnt it? There wont be CS5???

There was supossed to be an "special event" or "image" with the wedding of Rean and one of his LI. Buut.. because some of his LI were minors, the idea was detached.

actually im a bit disappointed that NF decited to tell the wedding just with standing pictures an not as a "real" video ingame :/ and the happenings with old/new VII after the ending wasn't explained either. For such a great arc - the ending wasn't bad but in my opinion it could have been a little better.

I was totally expecting us to have a deep dive into the troubles and sadness of the black entity to find out how he is actually troubled by carrying everything alone and having Rean free him and letting him join class VII, yep, its this kind of a game.

Also, Rean kills something, you monster, hypocrite, so the entity born of our bad feelings deserves to die but all the people who senteced thousands to die are still good people and deserve happy endings?! :D
