@King of Light well more precisely an antagonist. She was just following orders from Rufus and didnt care for the events during the Civil War but of course she feel guilty in tocs3. She grow up a lot as Rean's partner and student.
@King of Light Not really, Piccolo and Vegeta were truly villains and had personnal grudge against Goku. Altina just didn't have emotions and ultimately was just an agent hiding her cover, you can see however during middle chapter of Cold Steel 2 when Rean get angry at her she started feeling a little guilty over her previous action on him (mainly having kidnap his sister and the princess).

@@d3ly746 Well, Rennes, Joshua and Sharon were much more villains than Altina.
Altina was "born" into the civil war to serve as a tool. And even with that, Rufus never allow anyone to use her for killing. She never killed anyone in cs2 (or 3).
Joshua and Sharon were in a similar situation, but unlike her they spend a lot of time in the shadow, killing for money and their job. Never really thinking back about what they did (where Altina did have remorse even in cs2). Joshua had to meet Cassius and his daughter (especially his daughter) to change and realize what he has done.
Same for Sharon and Rennes (who change because of Estelle too, and Tita and Lloyd, but mostly Estelle) .
But their isn't a lot of Real evil villains in this série.
Weissman, from trails in the sky (and a responsable for Hamel, never forget that).
The Gnosis Priest from trails of zéro (don't recall his name) and the anguis in azure (Mariabelle isn't as evil as hé was).
Maybe Black Alberich.
I think Osborne isn't a real villain either (I wouldn't be surprise that he knew he would descend into madness and make sure that he could be stop).
Cédric is a asshole. I won't forget that hé tried to choke Altina to death without remorse.
I precise evil, because, well... All of the Ouroboros member are villains, but few of them are evil. Vita, for exemple, is quite likeable and pretty nice. I would never call her evil or cruel, but she is a villain.

That he does. Imagine someone asking to marry Altina. Considering how overprotective he gets towards his sister, I wouldn't be surprised if he had an ogre moment or two. Kinda like how Simba was towards Kiara.

I really really hope we get this game in the west in the near future...
It's over a year since the game came out in Japan, and with CS3 releasing in just a few days in the west, i hope we get this game soon, especially since i can already guess that answers and closure isn't something we are going to get much of in CS3...
Is there a chance for this and CS III to be ported to PC? :(
I'm keeping myself from buying PS4 until CS IV Eng. version gets released.

@@ragnaroketernallove9172 actually, Cold Steel 4 got announced for a PS4 release date this autumn, and next year in Spring for Switch/PC
You're in luck, it will be released on 27th October for the English version.
Rean's relationship to Altina is definitely a lot more familial than with the other girls in this scene (thank god). I have a firm picture in my head of his relationships with the other girls, and where Fei has always seemed to me to be like a younger sister, Altina has always been like more of a surrogate daughter.
I can truly see Laura, Rean and Altina forming a happy little family (even though neither of them are anywhere near old enough to be her parents -_-), because Laura is best girl.
