what a sucky system, I can't copy a playlist from itunes to an iphone without wiping out the songs already on the iphone. How does Apple tolerate this??
Yeah, this has pissed me off for years. My computer broke all my music on the computer is gone, so I have everything on the phone. If I lose data on my phone, it’s have happened then I had to sync from my old phone to get my data back. But I just get from the last time I use my old phone so loose new data. It’s very strange to do that from phone to phone, but you cannot do from phone to computer. It’s very frustrating.
Better question: why does apple region restrict songs that i transferred from a computer after converting and adding them from physical media i own? How is this legal?

I have my iphone connected to my Windows PC. itunes does not show the phone icon (2:58). itunes is about a million times worse than Android for transferring files.
Make sure you have trusted the computer and updated iTunes to the latest version.

Update your iTunes to the latest version and reconnect your iPhone.
@@higospot2995 I think it’s because the apple devices app. iTunes started to work properly just after deleting apple devices app.

the middle option works but when i add those songs to a playlist they disappear from the playlist.. even tried making a new playlist with them and once i added a song after it was made those songs deleted from the playlist again.. they show in library but won't stay in a playlist
Make sure your iPhone and computer are well connected and the songs have been transferred to your iPhone. If that doesn't work, you can do it on your iPhone and add them to the list manually.
@@higospot2995 they did transfer correctly I can play the songs and hear them, but once i add to a playlist they don't appear in the playlist after.
they are just in my library
