Say it with me.. FINE SECTIONS!!🤣
“There are sections but not that FINE”🤣
people don't understand the sections are the main thing to learn before to dye xD
Buh the application is not good - I love your reaction... 😁
Always fine sections! 😄
@@Alaska_Eshmadai Yes!
It's like a ground base if you expect success.
Maybe it’s because I’m from the South(US), but I laugh so hard each time he says something is “not so beautiful”. It reminds me of saying “bless your heart”. 🤣
As southern ladies we know what "bless your heart" REALLY means!🤣
I’m about to turn 39 and I had not had my natural hair since I was 13. After shaving off all my hair and not putting any chemicals on it whatsoever or using heat tools or anything I now have a head full of curls that I never knew I had before.
Wow
Ooh sounds amazing please show us
I was platinum blonde from age 17-26. I stopped all coloring at 30 and since have grown out all natural hair.
Although thin, it looks healthy, shiny and has a chestnut color with blonde highlights.
I always get asked who colors my hair because it looks amazing.
Lol
I'm the opposite. I never touched my hair as a teen but I went grey at 26, so have been colouring my hair since.
That’s so good!
You opened my eyes about bleach. Growing my natural hair color out thanks to you. I love it. It's amazing how you forget how healthy virgin hair is over the years. Thank you Hair Buddha!
until you get white hair Dx
i was using herbs since years but they require a loooot of time to keep so in the end I used the normal dye just for the regrowth to cover the white hair and to do it quickly
@@Alaska_Eshmadai white hair is awesome, you can dye it any color you want. If you wanna cover them you have henna indigo cassia etc
The titanium has a blue undertone In it. I used it once and never again. The Arctic fox shade of silver has a green ish undertone which I found out the hard way.
Thanks for the heads up
The products are ready in my cabinet, but every time I think about doing something to my hair, I watch your "hair fails"; instantaneously I change my mind.
"Girl it's in every lighting"! Laughed so hard!
I too am a hairstylist and I cringed right along with you. And this girl needs a major haircut. The breakage 😬

Exactly, I know how to cut hair so before even starting the dying process I'd cut off the severely damaged parts and layer it
@@RavenVargas27 I'd cut a pixie, let it grow out it's natural colore, and beg her not to do it again.
Exactly
@@jebsmith323 not everyone wants a boy haircut !
I have very long ( I can sit on it) hair, just before Christmas I had the last 15 cm/6 inches of my bleached hair cut off, since then I'm only using semi-permanent colours , way healthier for your hair , the only problem is you can't go lighter than your own colour.
@@maryburger1232 I was only referring to how damaged her hair is.
I like your videos. Your manner is so calm compared to other you tubers, I appreciate lack of screaming and acting as you dispense some good information :)
👍🙂
In case you didn't catch it, "the hair is dead, the hair IS Dead!" 😂
I’ve been binge-watching these videos and I didn’t comment on one where Hair Buddha asked why everyone was always going to Sally’s for their hair stuff. To get your hands on these products, only licensed cosmetologists were able to buy them. Sally’s is basically the only hair-product store that has recently (like in the last 10-12 years) let just anyone buy the products. Thanks to them, we now have all these glorious hair fails/wins videos!
I prefer the blue and purple patchy hair over the green hair. The green hair reminds me of swimming in an over chlorinated pool in my childhood. 😅😅
" Girl, it's not good in any lighting! I'm sorry to say that " 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My weekly dose of Seratonin. Yes, please! Thank you for the pick me up, Hair Buddha! 🌞❤️🌈
Looked better then I thought it would. Definitely needs a haircut, she is very pretty and a cute cut would look great.
I used to be grey in my 30's, used Knight & Wilson metallic dyes. Fantastic colour, got so many compliments and no yellow! 👍😁
I love when you are getting so agitated that you forget how to English 😁 can't wait to watch another video!
I find it so amusing that people want grey or silver hair at a younger age but when they’re naturally going grey, they’ll do anything to have their natural hair colour back and desperately cover their grey😆
My husband's hair is the Ion Titanium right now. It is kind of dark at first but lightens up after the first wash, so there's no real need to dilute it. Especially if you have yellow that needs neutralizing. He tried the Iro Iro platinum first and it came out a dark taupe-gray at first but faded nicely.
They want to have grey hair. When they get to their 50’s they’ll want to hide their grey hair… 🤷♀️
Yes, I'm 59 and covering mine up, I HATE my grey hair !
I wouldn't mind if it's all over grey but I only get a few strands of grey. So I just cover the grey with demi permanent brown every month. I haven't dyed my hair permanently in almost two years.
I will love my gray hair personnaly
Well if I could have all my hair be naturally gray all at once I wouldn’t mind the gray but it feels like it takes years to actually achieve all gray lol and I’m too lazy for all that lol
@@maryburger1232 I'm 43 and the hair at my temples is completely white while the rest is mid-dark brown. I've become a fan of platinum and silver as it "hides" the white, lol. Hide white with white :)
Are strand tests really that hard to do?
Ugh I know.. I'm gonna be doing my hair in a week and definitely doing strand test prior and I've learned so much from HB and bought products he recommended.. hoping it goes well.. oh and fine sections!
This guy is really cool. I just discovered this channel.
i know most people want that metallic look when dying their hair in greyish tones but sometimes it just looks full on grey and i get that people have different tastes but as someone who's insecure about having some grey hairs in my early 20s i could never 😅
Silver/gray hairs are so pretty, though! My favorite part of the silver hair trend is seeing people feel confident enough to stop covering up their natural silver. So, so beautiful.
Her hair was so damaged to begin with .
Yes indeed
I’m going to be doing my roots. Thank you very much for teaching me how to do it. Fine sections, saturations, and do not do the lengths.
Hi Hair Buddha! Love your reactions, you made my morning. ❤️😁
Silver lilac by Wella color charm paints is an amazing hair dye for anyone who wants to go pale gray/silver. When I used it on yellow hair, it had enough purple pigments to make my hair pale gray. The last time I used it, my hair was white, and it turned a beautiful pastel purple. That was a month ago, and since then my hair has turned gray
wella are the absolute queens of silver/white toners
Man I can't imagine thinking my hair is only 3 sections
You are aways so much fun to watch. I just love your videos. You are hillarious, honest and very talented.
Yay hello Hair Budda... You're making my Friday night lit!
You crack me up! Love your channel!!
You should do a "crazy hormonal hair" video. I can send you a photo of mine for starts. It was a 3c-4a curl pattern, and now it's 2a in front and crown and some strands close to the neck, while the rest of it has turned into a 3a wavy pattern. And all this with curly roots. No dying, not using any chemicals and only washing it with organic shampoo.. I have no idea what to do with it 🙄
Heat damage maybe? Even if you aren't using heat tools, hot water from showering can make a difference. I don't know if it could make that much of a difference though as I'm not a licensed stylist.
Have you tried a different shampoo? I found my hair gets used to certain products and changes form slightly when it does? ❤️
Love watching me some Hair Buddha 😻
Very informative, like always.
Well hey there hair guy, I've just subscribed to your UA-cam channel because I actually happen to enjoy your content even though I know nothing about hair and hair does not enthusiastically reach out to me, however you can surely make great content in videos that even someone like me can enjoy thanks for that.
Thanks to you, I’m also going back to my natural hair color again. ❤️
The "disappointed dad" look at 12:34 is epic!!!
just love watching your vids x
Just love your videos so much HB ❤️
I try and cover my grey.
Iv been watching you're videos for so long now and I look for them all the time. Better than mranmodo. Love your humour I even shout fine sections lol. Keep them coming. Debbie uk 😁💖
Love your reaction to use of soda on hair 🤣
I used to use the chrome and pure purple of the argan oil brand mixed together and it always turned out nice
Bless these young women.. Younger than me.. 😄 😄 😄... I'm avoiding grey like the plague... & fascinated at these young people craving it.. 😄. ❤️❤️.. I wonder how long this fad will last? 🤔 I am asking with humor & affection.. ✌️ 💙.
Thankyou for another awesome video sending you and your family love and light 💖 always
I would dye my hair any color Hair Buddha suggested AND take fine sections 😁😁 he is to hair what Yoda is with the force 🤘🤘❤❤
Imagine being his client? I find men to be excellent stylists.
30 seconds in and we ALL know the outcome
Girrrrrlllllll it's in every lighting 😂😂😂❤️
Was just coming to comment that Hahahahaaaa fabulous line.
I would love to see you do a video where you explain what products do what. Or tips along the line of "if you have dry hair try products like this". I'd even watch one on the science of purple dye xD
If you have porous hair you should wet it good before applying color, so that the water molecules fill up the cuticles of the porous hair more so then you have more even end result. Sry if you don't understand my english, I'm Finnish. :D
Good tips & great English
I wish you had a hair school I could attend, I love your videos
Can we give Hair Buddha props for his best videos with English without it being his first language? Amazing!!!! I've been listening sense the beginning "20 volumes" "fine sections!"
Love that Aaaa Haaaa moment….expression king.
I need Hair Buddha and Brad Mondo to collab!
I’m 44 and Omg do I remember the days of home hair dyes and bleaches and cuts. I know much much better now to never ever attempt these things at home. The first one I ever did I was 13 and snuck a box of red dye to my friends house. I came home with my new hair and my mother cried and cried for hours. 😆😭Watching these girls makes me laugh at myself and I just sit and think, “wow … women have been doing this to themselves since the beginning of time and probably will never stop.”
Side note - I’ve been in a funk lately and your videos really lighten my mood and entertain me. Thank you so much
I love to watch him
People let be doing the most on here. Lol. Just watch hair Buddha and dye your hair correctly 😂
Can you do a video on your favourite products including shampoos, conditioners and styling products 🙏
Hahahahahaha, when she juuuust gets started applying color "Nope." hahahahah I love these video so much
Love your Videos! Your reactions are always really amusing ... and the most importend thing i learned from als these fails is... SPEND YOUR MONEY ON AN PROFFESIONAL HAIRDRESSER. I would never ever bleach or color my hair at home... thats what hairdressers are for... yes, its much more expensive then Box dye... but in the end you will safe a lot money, your hair will be healthier... protect workplaces and income for many people. Last but not least... you will be happy with your color and hairstyle
Greetings from Germany
When did it become okay to sell non regulated chemicals (not including box dye) to non professionals?? And these people wonder why they mess up, damage their hair, not get the results they want.
Thanks to you Hair Budda, some: not enough, people see your videos and pay attention. ❤
"No, it *doesn't* look 'okay' from afar...!" 😂
I'm gonna leave this to the professionals, I think.
I love hair buddha
What's dead..Doesn't come back to life. There's only one option..And that's choppeddiichoppp it off..✂
Love your channel Mr HB! ♡
I just don't understand the desire to bleach hair to the point it is breaking off just to get an unrealistic color. If your hair is fried, there is no color that will look good on it. If you were born with dark hair, the likelihood of blonde looking good is pretty low. These celebrities who pull it off have the money to get it done professionally, to maintain it, and to change their entire makeup collection and wardrobe to look better in that color.
And they could just be wearing really great wigs.
@@cbryce9243 True!
😮🤣🤣🤣❤ you Buddha.
The best silver color I have had was 2 parts Manic Panic Alien Grey to 1 part of their pastelizer. It's a dark color but has a beautiful undertone.
Fascinating
How light was your hair when you applied it
If the condition of her hair wasn't so bad it wouldn't look so bad but it doesn't matter what color she goes it's gonna look bad because her hair is so damaged
I'm sad I am JUST now finding you! I have been bleaching my own hair for about 2 years now and I've learned so much but I've learned so much more just from 2 of your videos than 2 years of videos! I have found silver/grey has been so hard and this helped me a lot on my journey to grey, and when I have gotten it PERFECTLY it washes out SO quick. How do you make it stay??
“So many things can go wrong” lol
My grey/silver/white hair gets compliments and people tell me it’s dyed, right?! I’ve got lowlights and highlights and it is healthy 100% natural hair-no dye. I tried to get hairdressers to dye it grey when I was younger since I had some grey, but they told me it would be too hard to match. Now I get it, Hair Buddha!
How to you let it grow out that color gracefully? My hair is black and I’m starting to get pop ups of grey and it’s like a neon light flashing in my hair 😩
I just turned 40 and most ppl think I’m 23 so I guess I need to get rid of the pride and let my hair do its own thing 🤪
As of right now it’s baby soft so I know if I were to constantly dye it … it wouldn’t be the same.
Side note … I shaved it all off last month … just days after my Birthday for pediatric cancer awareness and it’s now a pixie length… just over one inch. I also know if I were to keep up with dying it… my hair wouldn’t grow crazy fast so your girl needs tips on how to just let the baby greys grow lol

“Girl! It’s in every lighting” 😂😂😂
I kinda liked it.
I’m going silver too! Mine is all natural!🤍
Why go through all of that work and not do it correctly? Take your time people! This is your hair.
I love the way you start out so optimistic. Then it all goes downhill from there!
The background music is chefs kiss
Noooo its not ok from afar, no its not 🤣🤣
Nooooo it's not okay from a far... ha ha I'm dying
Don't know if you will see this. Absolutely love your videos. I am a 67 with natural white gray hair, no color or bleach for over 7 years... would a silver color work on my hair for some lowlights? Just wondering about something not to add a little zest, but don't want anything too damaging or that turns my hair an unintended color? Thank you for helping and guiding so many people with so many aspects of hair and hair products. 💖
I am using so many of your videos as teaching tool. Also I have a question. What can I do when it is not a shampoo day but I have sweat a lot on my scalp and want to keep my hair as fresh as possible?
Love what you say at the end. What is the translation
7:10 I actually really like the QuickSilver look/color. It doesn’t look bad at all imo 🤙🏻
Omg lol ❤😂
As soon as i saw her hair i knew. Way too over bleached.
I had my hair half as bad and have had to dye it brown and let it grow out and trim to restore it!
When i bleached then used schwatzkopf live pastel grey it acted kind of like a toner and added a blue tint, then after a few washes, gave it a nice grey colour. (I knew it would do this blue though)
Always check the colour chart for *bleached* hair results... it wont act the same if you arent a natural blonde!
Hi hair buddah, can you recomend a mask or treatment to hidrate my hair
I keep thinking I’d like my auburn hair back, again. Then, I see a video from HB saying how hard it is to get nice looking grey hair. I have thick, waist-length naturally grey and white hair. So, I feel bad for wanting to dye it back to my youthful auburn. First world problems..
I get it but don’t do it ! 💕
I really like silver hair, and would love to have mine dyed silver. But, that's something I'm holding off on until I can afford to have it done by a professional hairstylist who has experience with that kind of color.
Semi permanent in shampoo is a good way to experiment w color before committing more
Of course they didn't take fine sections 🤦
He wouldn't have a show if they took fine sections! ☺ ☺
When it's that dry we call it Straw. For gawd sake condition it. Number 2 if you put it on properly you won't fail.
♡♡♡
5:55 " decide how long you leave it in before you start"
i think you need to leave it until the color has set, sometimes you adjust the time, it's not mandatory to leave it in for 30, and with how fried her hair is, I would probably leave it for less time than recommended as well.
That second girl, sections? Never heard of em!
just a question...isn't the olaplex or whatever a kind of glue which just binds the broken hair gluing it? I mean nothing against it just I heard that kind of treatment is just that because the only way to restore a broken hair is cutting it
Which plexus do I need before removing black die colour? My outgrowth is ashblond with some grey. I am 46 years old, so now I want to make a slow start to let the black grow out, but maybe the salon can turn it to brownish? But my question is what can I use of the plexusses for restoring my hair up front? Looooove your channel❤❤❤
Thank you in advance for advising me, I hope you find the time🙏
I toned with t18 and 20 developer. Bleached hair to a very light yellow color. Left on 20 minutes and had purple hair. Used only lemon juice and it took all the toner out. Thank God.
All these ppl wanting silver hair and I’m here For the last few yrs trying my hardest to cover up my grays 😂😂
I am dead inside and this is my escape. Thank you
Best products for of porous hair that isn't extremely damaged?
Regarding the dead state of her hair:
*"Do something about that."*
🤣😂
