Straight punches rule boxing. Only if used properly. Ali, is the best example. Yes hooks and uppercuts, bolos, overhands etc. Are extremely powerful but there's no way faster from point A to point B is A STRAIGHT LINE. much love Coach Ant. Send Fast Eddie my regards.

they teach me only parry in muay Thai, i like the idea so much its more danger in this way and more to strike and hit, but i didn't really learn catch may be i can catch it sometimes it's just a jab even if its little bit hit my face, i will counter immediately, this one good to go, plus strike in exact same time this can be useful, thank you coach anthony your are the man.
that's a very hard punch to land because in real life , the jab comes higher than here so it's harder to catch and follow up straight away.

Why arent you throwing the jab, you’re throwing it at a weird angle
Its a up jab since I'm using mitts and don't want to poke him in the eye
Problems with this drill is that the jab is coming from a low sweeping position. Won’t work against a traditional fighter
