    Great work Anna!
    My daughter absolutely loves seeing a woman build models (she's four) and it gives her a lot of excitement to see that other girls build models too. She helps me do mine and it's fantastic that she has a woman role model now.
    Also, I now have to find her RCAF roundels for her nails...thanks lol

    Very nice. I used to have a platoon of those (U.S. Army, no rails along the side for packs, and only the .50-cal). The two things missing are the floor covered with boxes of ammo in their wooden crates (two metal boxes per crate), and in front of the Track Commander's (T.C.) 'seat' (23:11) - which we stood on - were the radios. Which is how I busted my knee and it still clicks.

    Having watched many armour builds over the years (I’m an ex-tankie and build mostly armour kits), I got used to seeing kits built pretty much the same way.......until Anna builds a tank! Watching Anna paint and weather a kit is like a fresh take on how to do something as she doesn’t follow any of the “rules” and it’s great!! Thank you for sharing this vid, great work and a beautiful finish!

    Probably gotta watch those acrylic nails with solvent glues! Little over application,and your nails will goo all over the model! Love it!
    Ok. These tracked kits are cool,but the tracks are one of the main reasons I've only built one! Then here was this,I thought, straight forward track system. Then!! She started cutting these tiny tiny little pieces off and gluing them INDIVIDUALLY on to the (I thought) simple tracks! I wear bifocals anyway,and to do these,I would have to wear my 3x magnifiers too!
    Please tell me those stars and bars on your nails during the detail paint portion are water slide decals!!!! You oughta sculpt long curved hooks on your left thumb and forefinger and make built in tweezers!

      @@annasartmodelling69 ....I have a 1/35 Tamiya T-72 tank model, that I painted with Testor's Model Master brand *spray*can*, "SAC Bomber Green", a 1960's - 70's U.S. Air Force paint color.....It's very much the "wrong" color for a Russian tank. It's too light, and too gray. But so what?
      I think it's a cool looking shade of green for a Russian tank! I even found a crew figure from a WW2 T-34 to stick in the other turret hatch, next to the "modern" kit crew figure. Only another modeler would notice the helmets are different, - one has 3 pads, the other 4. But so what? IT LOOKS COOL! That's what I think anyway! (I couldn't see any "chipping effects" on the rubber track pads, like another comment here said.... I think your tracks look good, and "look right", and that's what counts.....) Any type of track will look different under different conditions. And, as for colors, your M113 is an "artists impression", created with use of "artistic license". It's a WORK of ART. Really....

      @silentumexcubitor6747 4 роки тому +1

      I went back and looked after I saw your comment. I don't see ANY true "metal chipping effects" anywhere, and not on the rubber track pads, either. There's *some* metallic-looking
      highlights on the metal portions of the track, which may not be 100% "correct", or "accurate", but I say they LOOK GOOD, and that makes up for it. She's just a BEGINNER!
