It's Pacific Rim Uprising And Sometimes people call it pacific Rim 2
6:17 one of the coolest scenes in all of kaiju history. Even if it is Ghidorah. Just the shot of him on the volcano with the lightning and the cross and just everything is fucking awesome.
The POTC Kraken scene is still so iconic to me. The way those organ pipes hit as soon as the big tentacles destroy the ship. Absolutely stunning.
Yeah, and also because you never get a true reveal of the creature itself. You basically get its massive tentactles and in the end its monstrous maw, but it remains under water through all of it. Also, the angle of its attack (from the bottom up) makes so much more impressive in comparison to most other scenes.
Not to mention the epic and sinister boss music
I count at least three times someone's Released the Kraken, and I got to wonder if the Kraken gets paid enough for showing up at a god's command
I thought you said Karen for a min
@@joseescobedo7899 Releasing the karen would only destroy the managers patience 😂
@@FreshWriter who is Karen?

If he's really being "released" he'd just be happy to have some outdoor time
Godzilla 2014 absolutely nailed the scale of the monsters. You could see and hear how absolutely massive they were.
Yeah true even tho there's scenes that are way off in terms of scale for Godzilla the movie that has the perfect scale in terms of Godzilla was Godzilla vs Kong
You could also see Godzilla's size being as big as a cargo sometimes and right the next scene it's 10 times bigger.
Bro what movie would u live in
Human fact
In gvk the building godzilla was next to was close to 1000 feet, while godzilla is like 300-400? I dont remember but godzilla looked the hüsame height in the movie
Hellboy had some of the coolest, ost underrated creature designs, and amazing gore effects that the predecessors missed on. Also, the MUTOs from Godzilla 2014 really surprised me with their visual and sound design
Hellboy’s creatures gave me creeps. They look amazing and creepy at the same time
@@Lotiel03I cant find that hellboy which hellboy is it?

@@DiabloClipss2019. I was lost too because didn't watch it 🥴 hooooly
Titan in Wrath of the Titans needs some love. The sense of scale and the detail of the lava and the volcanic ash behind him are so insanely good, not to mention screaming civilian that flies past the camera
The fact this hasn’t been demonitised or age restricted due to the hellboy clip is simply incredible

this is definitely the giant monsters movie scenes of all time.
No matter how cool the other monsters may be, none of them are as cool as Smaug And Godzilla
True
Smaugs alright, there are tons of dragon stories
Idk man I kinda liked the kraken. It seemed kinda badass. Having this thing fight Godzilla at the same size would be epic
Smaug is the coolest dragon ever made in my opinion I just love that series
Same
When the chorus drops once the kraken brought down those tentacles on the ship man I got chills
The Organ playing definitely helps that
Just a shame it was given such a stupid ending.

Now we got the movie rumble where Giant Monsters don't destroy cities, they destroy eachother for the glory of being the champion
Is it just me or has anyone realized that although Aquaman was the good guy he was still massacring his own people and countless others but was still praised as a hero.
To be fair they wanted him dead, soooo…….

Clover field:
Basically nearly every main character died including the cameraman, plus the two other main characters were left to be speculated dead or alive in the end. The next two movies on it are separate realities or something
CGI it has become simply amazing and joining the imagination of the creators is divine. It is to thank all those who are dedicated to producing some of these renderings.
For me there will never be a monster as unstoppable and terrifying as clover from Cloverfield. Such a unique and very alien design we hadn’t seen before. And his scream is just chill inducing.
Even scarier knowing it's only a baby 😂
I am a simple man. I watch giant monsters tear shit up to cure my mental illness.
As one does
I was near Joint Base Mcguire Dix Base in New Jersey during a weekend of Howitzer artillery canon live ammunition training. All around us were incredible explosion sounds while the Earth shook, we shook, and windows rattled. I have seen a lot of movie action scenes in theaters with incredible sound systems, but to witness great explosions for real is an entirely different experience to appreciate the amount of destructive force mankind is capable of.
And nature puts all that to shame
The CGI for the King Kong movie: Skull Island is excellent ✊✊✊
Honestly, thanks to Clash of the Titans for making the big leap into big ass monsters that look good and gave us what we have today
I mean.. sure you had that first Godzilla remake and then King Kong.. but I think Clash of the Titans and the Kraken really opened up the _scale_ of the monsters.
And no I'm talking about movies from like the early 2000s, not the old ones of Godzilla and Kong where you didn't have the scalez not really.
Not to rain on your parade, but POTC's kraken was 2006, Clash was 2010, so it wasn't really the "first" from where I stand. I do grand you that in Clash they revealed more of the actual monster.
And I would like to offer up Deep Rising's mega-squid as well.
Imagine all these monsters got in a fight
Would be final wars Godzilla style
Godzilla : ok I better go nuclear real quick
That would be fucking diabolical!
surtur fron thor ragnarok he pick hulk like a tick he kill hela and destroy asgard 🤔🤔
Dormammu will win the battle
Many of them have have great effects, lights and destruction of whole citys. Meanwhile the Kraken sunk one Ship but thanks to the absolutely amazing music it's my favourite out of them!
Hans Zimmer for the win 🔥🔥🔥
P.s still big fan of Middle earth, LotR was ahead of its time.
"I am... *Fiyaaaah* " Caught me completely off guard 🤣🤣
Not gonna lie, I find the trope of monsters roaring in a pose to intimidate everyone even further a bit overused. If a huge creature knows it is strong and menacing already and just gets straight to the job, that would be the one I'd really fear...because it would be so strong it wouldn't even bother to show it's power.
I like to think of it as a final warning. As if they’re saying “You don’t want this fight.”
Yea it is hella overused but I still love it.
The roar's and posturing are realistic like territorial threat displays to try and assert dominance. Very common in the animal kingdom as a final warning. A lot of monsters and creatures have animal like intelligence so it makes sense they would exhibit the same types of behaviors.
totally agree. it makes it kinda corny
I blame Jurrassic park, it's so overused with most intimidating cgi animals on screen now. They do it with lions, bears, and even when people shrink and are attacked by insects they even do it. While in real life, if those animals really wanted to kill you, they'll do it before you even realize you were even being attacked. Only animals that roar in intimidation are the ones scared or intimidated of you and/or are not predators.
"We have multiple Euclid- and Keter-Class Containment Breaches! I want all available Units at Gate B now!"
~SCP Intercom Guy that dont know what fear is...
Man is legit announcing a nuclear bomb is going to land on his face and just keeps on announcing it
I don't think you can classify any of these as euclid, Keter and or appollyon fits better...
Ghidora really hit the 🎸🎸🎸🎸
13:20 this monster is like "hey what's up guys?" XD
What movie is?
The newest of hellboy, the one of 2019, don't care about the negative reviews (because it has) it has very much gore too, but I don't care, I liked It a lot
@@elvegetales6969 thanks
@elvegetales6969 that movie is sick
Godzilla/Kong and Smaug will always be my favorites!
Balrog is definitely one of the best movie monster.
Especially with the little screen time it has
Cloverfield is the BEST monster movie of all time imo, it just got everything that makes it perfect. Showing the monster so less, keeping it a secret and unknown, making it SCARY AF, not showing that people are defeating it or fighting it off as much as Godzilla movies and more to humans trying to survive it
Gawddamn I did not know the new Hellboy went that hard
The clash/wrath of the titan movies still look amazing today.
Lord of the Rings was the greatest fantasy trilogy of all time and Pirates of the Caribbean was the closest we got to that greatness again.
Preferred the planet of the apes trilogy to be among the best, though it wont be a trilogy much longer.
@@rogaannn3467 It felt like stepping back in time to see three good movies in the same franchise all stick the landing one after the other.
@@rogaannn3467True, it was a rly good trilogy, solid all throughout, something rare these days
Honestly I absolutely LOVE colossal creatures. The bigger the creature, the better
WOW I totally forgot about class of Titans! Great movie 😊
Just as aside, amidst all these terrifying monsters, the Balrog scene will always be precious to me. This is because when I was in high school, I used to try and do stupid things to embarrass my very polite and well put-together mother.
One day, she had enough of my shit, and instead of quietly scolding me like she usually did when I did something dumb to embarrass her, she grabbed 2 pool noodles and recreated the Balrog scene by slamming the noodles into the ground and yelling very loudly "YOU. SHALL. NOT.... PAAAASSSS"
Everyone looked at us. Everyone heard us lol she maintained the same unyielding eye contact for what felt like a year, and I never tried to embarrass her again lololol I had ZERO warning, she just saw the noodles and Balrog'ed my ass into behaving lol I love my mother
smaug when he says i am death is incredible that whole soliloquy before he destroys is just insane
The Clash of the Titans Kraken’s roar will always be my absolute favourite.
5:12 WHAT MOVIE IS THAT?! Looks amazing.
Gods of Egypt
It's had mixed reviews... but who cares it was a good watch.
Love the sound cuts every 5 seconds
I'm kinda dissapointed that you didn't include Godzilla's entrance scene from Godzilla 2014.
Yeah it was the most iconic entrance of godzilla
It’s movies like these that make me feel Good about Godzilla, but at the same time make me think they are far better.
Ghidorah's heads in a nutshell:
No.1: Calm a collected, just wants the job done and gone.
No.2: Bossy and has quite the temper.
No.3: Basically the idiot, bro had a huge ass plastic bag on his head.
They don't call the right head Kevin for nothing
The Original Clash of the Titans Kraken was an epic monster.
Exactly what I searched for, thank you man
Smaug and Ghidorah’s roar are my fav. Balrog has my honorable mention.
Man Gods of Egypt has such an awesome base concept, it just happens to have the most terrible casting direction ever
and not too good of a storyy
My favorites:
Obscurial, Apophis, Ghidorah, Kraken of Pirates of the Caribbean and Clash of the Titans, Smaug, MUTOs and Skullcrawlers .
I appreciate that you left the Balrog until the "you shall not pass" part
Even after many years. “I am fire, I am… DEATH! Is still peak and I get chills every time

Nothing will ever come close to the absolute terror of the Pirates of the Caribbean Kraken.
Pirates of the Caribbean kraken with the music gets you so into it
Kraken from clash of titans deserved more airtime. Would love to have seen it longer
That retractable hood of the kraken looks cool
I would have absolutely rioted if the Gandalf vs Balrog scene was not in this video! Luckily, Morgsm was thinking along the same line.
Also, those Hellboy scenes with the walking monstrosities had me all thinking: RISE OF THE ELDRAZI!! lol
What’s the movie with the giant skeleton thing?
Hellboy
Aw man, do I love me some Giant Kaiju monsters.
You want one of the best monster movie scenes of all time?
Shin Godzilla, atomic breath scene...absolutely stunning and horrifying at the same time.
The Kraken entrance was epic. They mention in the movie it defeated the Titans. We should get to see that.
Godzilla is an incomparable classic; but the Cracken roar announcing itself gives me chills!!!
I wonder which of these movie monsters we've never seen die in any iteration? Clover is one. Can't kill that thing, and good luck even making the 35k feet tall one flinch
GANDALF!!!also Gandalf YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!
Ever since I was a kid, something has made me obsessed with giant monsters
Whoever posted this, you’re my new best friend. Good shit 👍
I always liked how the skull crawlers long prehensile tongues were a unique feature that no other monster had. It really made them stand out from other monsters. I especially loved the way Tamara emerged to fight king.
Oooh the Red Death from How to Train Your Dragon should be in here
When it comes to "monsters" movie, Godzilla always came first into my head he truly is the most iconic monster of all time

NGL, one of my favorites is an underrated one. the Hellboy remake may be bad, but I loved that monster scene.
Same, I would’ve loved to see more hellscape depravity or horror. Like the Baba Yaga scene with hell boy or more demons walking on earth and causing chaos idk so much potential.
Its actually crazy to think that Smaug is actually a really small dragon in LOTR lore compared to others
Yep ancalagon had a wingspan of like 4 or 5 miles
@@brick_mania2372 the things id do for a 1st and second age LOTR series or trilogy
@brick_mania2372 that's only if you believe Ancalagon was the size of the three mountains, which is just crazy. A fire-breathing dragon that size would have destroyed the armies of the Host of the Valar in seconds before Earendil could even arrive with the Great Eagles. The Balrog broke the mountainside when Gandalf defeated it...and a Balrog is only like double that of a human.
@@mky-IVplease no, there's no one in Hollywood right now that could give the 1st age any justice on the big screen. It would be really bad guaranteed.
@mkytl270 a mountainside could be described otherwise.
"I clung to the mountainside for support as I tied the rope back to the anchor".
Thus the Balrog could have broken a couple miles of the mountainside falling (or rolling) down it, or could have made a 20 foot crater and both would have counted.
I believe the mountains you speak of are specified as "towers" in one passage, not necessarily mountains. But even then, this is fantasy and believing in a dragon that big is a really cool thought.
Welp, I’ve found my favorite youtube video at random
