  • This is my entry for the May 2024 Soap Challenge Club, where we had to make a cold process soap Nautilus Swirl. This month the challenge was blind, which means we cannot put anything on social media about our soaps until after the results of the soap challenge have been announced and is why this video is on Saturday, rather than on my usual Friday spot.

Although my cold process soap making tutorials are of a tutorial nature, they are intended for people who have a good understanding of making cold process soap. The information given is based on what works for me, however, there are lots of variables associated with cold process soap making and I, therefore, take no responsibility for the results achieved when using the techniques or methods explained in these tutorials. Cold process soap involves the necessary use of sodium Hydroxide (lye) which is a very dangerous substance. Before attempting and cold process soap making you should ensure you are fully aware of the lye safety procedures and always wear the correct safety equipment when making soap.

As soon as you mixed those colours…
    🎼 - - - - - - - - - -. Made to make your mouth water.
Lovely to see another one of your creations and hear the excitement in your creativity. Eight very beautiful butterfly wings being created! I hope it did well.
Hmmm, a confectionary range of soaps…. (Based on wrappers so not to encourage soap consumption.) I see milage in that!

In the thumbnail, does anyone see a 🐌 on the right side? I totally see a snail its head is facing the left with the body/shell to the right. I haven't even watched the video yet, so I have no idea what she's making yet. I just saw a snail in the pattern and had to comment. 😊 Have a beautiful weekend, y'all!

Lovely soap Lisa, thanks for showing how it's done, you always explain it so well. Sadly, the fragrance oil that you used doesn't seem to be available anymore. Gracefruit has discontinued a lot of the SP fragrances.
