  • Welcome back for another Young Guns adventure!
This week we have something a little different for you with the mining season not picking back up till April, Noah and I decided to head over to Fraser Island for a bit of camping, 4wding and of cause some beers with mates!
The hi-lights of the trip where cruising down the great sandy beaches, taking a tube ride down Eli Creek and swimming in the pristine waters of Lake McKenzie!
It was an awesome trip and we hope you guys enjoy a small peak inside our lives outside of the opal mining season!
if you enjoy the video let us know and well will make some more as we adventure on! don't worry we will be back to mining for opal in April and we can't wait to see what treasure we uncover this season!
all the best thanks for watching and for the support!

Just found you guys channel earlier today and I believe I watched almost all the vids. I just so happen to live an hour away from Ginnie Springs and I’ve been going there my whole life. Floating the river and diving the springs.

9:22 It is ironic that you mention Ginnie Springs, it must be the one located in High Springs, Florida near the University of Florida- about 30 minutes from my house. Beautiful place to swim, camp and scuba dive into the caves. Travelers and adventurers from all over the world come for a visit.
The irony is that I lived in Brisbane for three years and spent one year up in the Mackay/Airlie area before returning to Florida. I've been right there where you were loading up onto the ferry, but I regret not going over to Fraser because we ran out of time. We drove the beaches for hours, probably +40 miles of pristine nature. I still have many friends in QLD to this day. Australia is simply amazing to me.
I just found your spectacular channel, and it is nicely done with great content. I plan to return to Oz one day- as soon as possible. It'd be cool to meet up with you guys one day.
Cheers and thanks for the videos... Subscribed 100 percent.

This reminds me of floating down the Rainbow River in Florida as a kid.
EDIT: I watched the whole video, and you mentioned you visited Ginnie Springs! The Rainbow River is just south of there. That area is one of the most pristine parts of Florida.

Why's it called a sand island? The reef and rocks on the coast suggest otherwise. Genuinely curious
