Great to see the next generation of real miners having a proper go, not posers, like some i wont mention, hopefully your hard work will set you up for life and at the same time inspire others to experience the thrills of finding their own opals so we dont lose our industry, australias national gemstone should be celebrated, well done.

Mate, There are no chupacabras in Australia. Closest we have are wombats and believe me, they can get pretty fierce if you stir one up. I had one get under my Landcruiser & I kicked a stick towards it to make it move & it went me. I jumped up on the back of the ute like a sumo wrestler cross ninja and had to climb in along the side & make my escape. I could see it in my rearview mirror chasing after me.

More buckets less trips ? might be a start they need a wire hook in the bottom of them to lower about 6 down and leave them dangling in a chain off the hook to save on room and stack them 2or 3 high on the floor so when you climb to the top you can hook them? Maybe not all the time but I would reduce the climb time and increase digging/mucking time potential?
