Lex and Los are seriously the best couple example I could think of in this UA-cam Community. Their vlogs are so real - maybe because it's because of their genuine personalities. But it is very nice looking up to them as a young adult. You both inspire me so much and your humble souls only make me want to be a better person. Their love for Christ is truly incredible!

I may be biased, but Hawaii is definitely one of the best places to live non-materialistically. My family also downsized a lot after moving from Washington to Oahu, and it was a huge eye-opener. We all realized we never needed a big house with lots of things in it. We had faith in God, and he helped us come to this realization. I'm so happy for your family and we can already see Maui has such a positive influence on you. I think Ocean will love growing up there! :)

I think it is great that you guys are taking this step and moving. There are so many successful celebrities who live outside of California and still have careers. There are also many people who live on Maui with hardworking jobs. Just because you live somewhere tropical and warm does not mean you are lazy and on vacation the whole time. Hi guys, my husband and I are in the middle of moving to Maui also. Even though we aren't there until April, I can't begin to tell you how many negative comments we've gotten from people. We don't have a lot and don't own a home and no kids, but honestly we just want to fill our lives with as much love and peace as we can. We have noticed that the negative comments we've gotten have been from people who are so tied down and carry so much stress with them everywhere or just who are not happy on the inside. I think the choice you have made as a family and for spiritual growth is so beautiful and that no one else can tell you what you need or how to do it. I didn't really understand until I moved across the country, but it's so important to live somewhere that matches your soul. If living in Maui makes y'all feel at peace and happy and you have the ability to move there, then you should absolutely do it.

I love that you're dematerialising your lives, I recently lost my job and studies due to bad health and was devistated until I realised that everything I was pursuing was for material reasons and boastful reasons. It's amazing to make peace and prioritise your happiness and inner peace because you find this higher quality of life. You guys are incredible examples and I just want to hug you guys!!

Concern: I'm not sure how your car seat works but my mom noticed that the actual car seat belt was over Ocean's belly and from the many car seats she's gone through she's always put the seat belt through the middle of the car seat if it's built that way, just so in case of an accident the seat belt holds the seat down and doesn't squish the baby's tummy. If your seat is built that way and works great!

I grew up in a vacation destination (Rosemary Beach, FL) and when people visiting find out that I live there, they always have said the same things people are saying to you. But for my family and me, it just makes us even more thankful to be able to wake up every day in a place we love, walk along the beach a little more often, and feel so blessed by the beauty around us. It's really special to be able to live in your dream spot, so if you have the opportunity to do it, that's amazing! Congrats on your move!

I think a lot of people were commenting from a place of confusion. I didn't comment previously but I know it was a bit confusing to me why you'd move away from the "hub" of work. After hearing the explanation that a lot of the stuff you go up for doesn't even film there, I could see why you'd want to move. Besides, if God is putting it on your heart to move there & you have the means, you should absolutely do it. If you can make a greater spiritual/religious impact on others from Maui, be that brighter light. Honestly LA was probably dimming it too much. Don't fight that dark anymore. Prayers your offer gets accepted & you can sell your California house quickly too!

We will truly miss you guys, honestly wish you nothing but the best in life. Of course we feel a little sad that there's no LexLos in LA anymore after you guys move. But I can clearly see Maui is what makes you feel good and have that environment not just for you but for Ocean. I always wanted to live in Maui, well anywhere in Hawaii really 😊 There's nothing wrong with downsizing its actually pretty good that you guys are not having to worry about financial problems or have things that you guys said that you don't really need. I feel the exact same way also I live with my parents and I just turned 18 in December, it feels good that as a family we are blessed to have more than we need but to be honest I feel like we have so much more than we need or don't even use and we also have a big house for just the 3 of us. My brother use to live with us but he moved out when I was 14 and he was like 24 or 25 at the time, currently he is 29, the point I was trying to say is I do understand what you guys mean by downsizing and how we don't truly need a big house or big closets and things like that. Concern: I'm not sure how your car seat works but my mom noticed that the actual car seat belt was over Ocean's belly and from the many car seats she's gone through she's always put the seat belt through the middle of the car seat if it's built that way, just so in case of an accident the seat belt holds the seat down and doesn't squish the baby's tummy. If your seat is built that way and works great!
Wowwww, when you guys talked about letting go of the material stuff.. and getting a small home it was insanely inspiring. I seriously needed this TODAY!

I grew up in a vacation destination (Rosemary Beach, FL) and when people visiting find out that I live there, they always have said the same things people are saying to you. But for my family and me, it just makes us even more thankful to be able to wake up every day in a place we love, walk along the beach a little more often, and feel so blessed by the beauty around us. It's really special to be able to live in your dream spot, so if you have the opportunity to do it, that's amazing! Congrats on your move!

I think a lot of people were commenting from a place of confusion. I didn't comment previously but I know it was a bit confusing to me why you'd move away from the "hub" of work. After hearing the explanation that a lot of the stuff you go up for doesn't even film there, I could see why you'd want to move. Besides, if God is putting it on your heart to move there & you have the means, you should absolutely do it. If you can make a greater spiritual/religious impact on others from Maui, be that brighter light. Honestly LA was probably dimming it too much. Don't fight that dark anymore. Prayers your offer gets accepted & you can sell your California house quickly too!

We will truly miss you guys, honestly wish you nothing but the best in life. Of course we feel a little sad that there's no LexLos in LA anymore after you guys move. But I can clearly see Maui is what makes you feel good and have that environment not just for you but for Ocean. I always wanted to live in Maui, well anywhere in Hawaii really 😊 There's nothing wrong with downsizing its actually pretty good that you guys are not having to worry about financial problems or have things that you guys said that you don't really need. I feel the exact same way also I live with my parents and I just turned 18 in December, it feels good that as a family we are blessed to have more than we need but to be honest I feel like we have so much more than we need or don't even use and we also have a big house for just the 3 of us. My brother use to live with us but he moved out when I was 14 and he was like 24 or 25 at the time, currently he is 29, the point I was trying to say is I do understand what you guys mean by downsizing and how we don't truly need a big house or big closets and things like that.
