As Einstein said, if you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself. So please, don't go tutoring if you don't know the subject. You will have the opportunity after you properly learnt and understood.
Generally agreed, but you also don’t need a PhD in math to tutor a middle school algebra student. You just need to know algebra well. The same is true for tutoring beginner programmers/cs students. You just can’t tutor beyond your own level of understanding (and really even a bit below that).
@@ConnerArdman Oh yea I agree with that, although I think it's a bit too much saying that it's okay tutoring if you just "know a little bit more than the other", it's better to have a good understanding of the matter
This is actually a pretty good list of all the ways to make money coding. I’ve been talking a lot about the non-fiverr freelancing but these are all good topics to touch upon, with varying levels of difficulty. Not going to lie, completely forgot about tutoring!!
@ConnerArdman Would you be willing to do a video (unless you've already done it) about how to actually deliver the finished product (website, app) to the client and how to get them set up with the software? I cannot find any videos on this aspect of software development - although this is probably the biggest topic when freelancing, right? Thank you, love the channel and long time subscriber 👍
