Hi mark I have a question about raing finders. I have been golfing from the age of 8 or 9 and I am woundering at what point in your game is it benifichal to have a raing finder and how can you tell if you have gotten to that point ? I love if you make a vido over this i have seen you vido on rangefinders and it did not anser my question.
I'm a brickie, and generally sufffer from exactly what you said about us "tradies", especially when I go play after work 😂 I have learnt I can still have a firm grip but have next to zero tension through my elbow and shoulder joints... I just need to practice 😩
Is it an old teaching to grip the club tightly/tighter in the lead hand and loose in the trail? I've experimented with grip pressures in both hands and always swing it better when i feel the lead is doing the majority of the work and the trail is 'along for the ride'.
Hi Mark, if I have a SFT driver as my miss was low heel and I manage to find the centre of the club more often now, am I losing distance assuming the centre of gravity is closer to the heel of the club (assuming the clubface is square).
Interesting re letting it go in backswing. I do exactly that, feel like I have separation at the top and often, if I have a couple of practice swings, the club isn’t square in my hand any more. I think my grip is ok, I’m fingers and not palm, yet it does it. Any clues as to why?
I broke my hand many years ago and as a result had to change my grip as interlocking fingers was painful… subsequently I have worked hard to stop coming over the top but the result is I now have a tendency to over draw the ball with my strong grip… any simple drills to help straight my aggressive a draw a touch?
This is so much bollocks, if you don't grip the club tight itll fly out of your hands, its a big lump of metal flying really fast. Gripping tight doesn't mean tension in other parts, you can waggle with a tight grip, as usual you need to make it complicated if you want to get clicks
Thanks for that great answer will work more on feeling now
Your welcome.

Wish they could measure Ray's grip pressure.
I'd have a dead budgie! I'm a classic re-gripper so tend to strangle the club.
I'm suffering from YouTubitis - watching too many different swing methods. How can I flush these from my mind and restart from basics? Thanks, Leon
