Hi I've had my Yonex Vcore 100 for a year now restrung with Tecnifibre X One Biphase, recommended by you. Very pleased with this racket, good control, spin and great comfort.Great channel keep it going.
Whilst the specs are similar, there are significant differences between the two racquets so you can only compare them by playing with them. Eg the Yonex has the square head so the sweet spot is likely to be different. Also the Babolat, despite having the same 16 * 19 string pattern, is more open so has potentially more spin. Having said all that, I find these reviews very interesting. Keep it up Harry!
Hey Harry, I'm a big fan of your videos. Can you do a comparison between the previous gen Pure Aero (lime green) and the current gen Pure Aero 2019 (banana yellow)? I recently bought the previous gen one and wanted to know the similarities and differences. Thanks!
I was in the same position and I can tell you the “ banana” will change your game. It’s less stiff, more maneuverable, goes through the air quicker. I still have my lime one but now I have 2 bananas and with hyper g 1.20gauge at 52 - 54 pounds I am flying . Give it a try
@@gravinboginagis6568 in what way is it awful?? I cant imagine the quality control is bad, and the specs are pretty similar to a pure strike 100, so how at all is it awful? Please explain your reasoning first
Probably going to test out the Yonex...currently have a 6 yrs old Babolat Aero with the cortex vibration damping. I need maximum dampening due to injured shoulder and tendency to get tennis elbow with stiff rackets.
I swithed from the Babolat to the Yonex and was surprised i liked them both... now i know why 😅 i think the yonex is maybe a bit more forgiving and has a larger sweetspot... maybe the isomeric shape...
Again as in your other videos when you compare Strung SW, you're not considering the strings used. Some strings are heavier and so will increase SW. To be sure in comparing apples with apples, best to measure Unstrung SW. PS. RPM Blast is amongst the heaviest polys on the market
I don’t know why, but they feel so different to me. I have much more power with the Aero. I don’t like the feel of the yonex, it feels dead when i hit the ball. Tried both with hyper g. The thing is that im having some problems with my wrist (semi western) playing with the aero.
I still have babolat aero pro drive I think 2012 model when i played competitively as junior in Czech Rep and it still rocks but i want something new and tried 2019 model Pure Aero i think and it felt so different i hated it. My topspins were good but flats no more. I want something similar like that 2012 model but i dont know what model.
@@WE-vd8ux I did Head Graphene 360+ Gravity TOUR. It took few minutes and i felt like in 2012 when i got that Aero pro drive .. I love this model. Head Graphene 360+ Gravity TOUR is the way.
Thanks so much for making this. Super interested in the VCORE 100. Could you comment on the comfort level on it? It's pretty stiff and doesn't have the same muting technology that other Yonex racquets have. Any arm soreness?
How similar is vcore 98 to pure aero vs? I just bought the later, but I am curious, I like the quality control of Yonex. And definitely galaxy black is cool
And I have a question about string.. Im using Luxilon Alu power soft.. Im want to try Luxilon Smart... What is diff. between this two.. I like your videos vety much🎾
Yep, too stiff, too much power, super high launch angle (makes it harder to hit accurate passing shots that don't float), dead response with little feedback, and did I mention stiff?
so many negatives put on rackets are positives for someone else.. it's like everyone is basically saying 'this racket is a lot different to what my muscle memory is used to, therefore it's a crap racket'
I think it’s great he shows the balancing weighing etc. That way we know it’s a legit measuring process. I usually go straight for the summary recap at the end. But it’s good that he shows he actually measures it and it’s all pretty legit. I don’t know if any reviewer that takes this accurate approach. Keep it up Harry!!!!!
Yonex is always the best for me. I'm the owner of 40 yonex, starting from the super rq 380
well said... Great A+ quality
now i dont feel so bad i got some work to do to catch up to 40 rackets 🤗
not too much information. Comparison should include more detail rather than spec. I want to hear your feeling when playing those racquet.
Agreed
Keep this channel going. Your content matters to tennis people;)
Yonex is made in Japan. That’s all you need to know.

@tennis spin: would you prefer the vcore100 or the ezone100 ?
I’m using the 98 version of the galaxy black v core. I love it!
very happy with the VCore 100+. When I tried the Babolat pure aero it was too much power for me.
Longer frame definitely reduce the power, slightly.
Thanks for another video! I love to learn a little more! Greetings from Portugal 🎾🇵🇹
I own the 95 version of the Vcore. Those two racquets are definitely similar.
I play with the 95 too. Customized it. Great racquet right?
@@j_rf3038 I weighted mine too and I love it. It is a great racquet

Awesome!!!! Im really thinking of getting a vcore 100 so this was great to see
Don’t it’s awful
@@gravinboginagis6568 ??? Ok maybe for you lol
OverRev I’m just trying to help u, u obviously haven’t used it otherwise u wouldn’t have commented that
@@gravinboginagis6568 ??? Pro's on the WTA use the vcore 100. The 98 is my racket of choice and hits great.

Love to see a comparison between Head Prestige Mid, Prince Phantom Pro 93p and the Vcore 95... some small head racquets... please
Compare these two to the head extreme mp

Will you be gettign the new Naomi Yonnex in white with gold ? That is going to be a hot stick so stock up! I think the best looking Yonnex so far!
Is the Yonex VCORE 100 as fragile as the Babolat aero?

on the flame Red version, how come the ones the pros use I see on tv are shiny and not matted like the one we see at the store?

Please kindly, do a video on ( Wilson Clash 100 L ). Thank you.
Which racquet has the least drag coefficient. So it sl8ces through the air
Head radical pro 369 with Hyper G @44pds !!
Just wondering why most UA-camrs are saying the aero is 67ra but the website claims 71. To me feels super stiff so 71 makes sense
Manufacturer gives unstrung spec, strung is -3pts on RA usually
How about the vcore 98 305... I saw at tw that strung spec for swing wtis 321 but mine is 313-314 -_-
But how is the control of the yonex?
Really nice guy
New Vcore coming soon?
I always like to think of the pure aero like this:
Easy to hit with, but hard to actually play with and use objectively.
Just curious... why do you think about it this way?

Bokeh it just takes up time, he doesn’t really talk about anything that we can’t find out by looking on the internet
Bokeh we don’t need to spend three minutes of our lives watching that. Three minutes we’ll never get back
