Thanks- I pounded a white rose- that there was just no hope for- TOO much white- and turned out terrible- thank you so much for sharing this negative painting technique- I am certainly no rose painter- I hope to achieve that ability one day- you certainly have the best advice!! The weaving of petals seems easier than working on the rose bowls but I'll have to see for myself. Really pretty Calypso Roses.
