Hi Gaynor, you might be surprised to know how much inspiration I gain from you. Im a quilter and i love your color sense and experimentation with color and value. Im moving from traditional patterns to improvisational piecing so its all about capturing a feeling. You do that so well in your paintings and im trying to do that with fabric. You are such a joy!!! Morning Gaynor, you never fail to amaze and inspire me!The Cornwall paintings are wonderful..you have a lovely set on the go,you have the gift of just churning them out like some kind of vending machine…so the keep going t shirt is very apt for you lol!!Love your techniques using the stick and especially the pressing down of paint onto the canvas..I would never have thought of doing that,it’s a really good idea to have more than one painting going at once, you are so right,it takes the pressure off!You remind me of myself, finding things when having a clear up..oh well, you can never have too much paint!😁Can’t wait to see the cabin development!!Have a lovely week in all you do!❤
Yes!!! The best relief to anxiety is action! I love how you pressed the blue green into that water. Brilliant! I smooshed over a painting in white in my UA-cam video this week and gave a shout out to you! I’m certain every time you do it subscribers are yelling… no! It makes me smile!
A new addition to the cabin?!?!…..…can”t wait to see what you get up to in a bigger brighter space. Thanks for brightening our week. Love the T-shirt, I think we should all get one.
I agree with you, as soon as you spread that unique blue green atop the 8x8” abstract, I got that feeling of oooooooo and aaaahhhh!! I love this series!! And excited about your remodel! Thank you!!

Gaynor, you always inspire me to be more productive, and I have picked up from you to work on more than one piece at a time. Wow! My favorite greens are those in those last little canvasses you worked on. Such warm and happy colors. I'm loving your Cornwall wall, and can't wait to see them framed. Much love, Molly xxx

Wow Gaynor. You are in the flow this week. Wonderful inspiration with the build up of layers....especially "the wall". I can imagine this painting on a huge canvas. Such a masdive wall, and you have managed to capture the feeling of it's expansiveness! I love it!!!❤😊
You just make my day. I love waking up and watching any video that pops up on UA-cam. We are so similar in so many ways I lose my earings all the time and a million other ways we are similar. Please be well and keep on painting.
Good morning Gaynor, nice to see you here for breakfast, a great start to the day. Love anything to do with the sea, the cliffs are coming along. Cornwall is a lovely and inspirational place to be. Today here on the Argyll west coast its 50shades of grey😅 Those greens are gorgeous. Looking forward to see what happens with cabin changes. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, which are so often the thoughts of us all......Alioban 🐕❤
Hello Alioban, Rainbows here today ! Sunshine with SO much rain; oh good I thought, my new planting will enjoy a drink - but now I've got visions of them floating away !!!! Have a wonderful week XXX
Ahh Gaynor, you have captured the west of Cornwall so well. The colour and the feeling and sense of space. I live very close to where you’ve taken your photos and drive that tiny road by the sea often. That green lives in my heart also, such a beautiful colour. Mizzle here today, all the greys and blowy but I love it. Love to you and all you inspire.

What great mark making tools and examples. I love using sticks too! The plans for Cabin One sound really great! Love the small landscapes, and the colors too. Thursdays are always such a treat. Wishing you a great week ahead and sending hugs. xxoo
These paintings of Cornwall are really looking lovely. I, too, love the greenish blue colour of that 8 x 8" one that you liked the colour of. It is pretty much perfect just the way it is. How exciting that Cabin 1 is going to get a facelift! Bigger "eyes" for more light will be lovely. Almost every artist wants more space for all their stuff! I'm no exception, and yet my entire cabin (which I live in) is almost all art studio! I have a chair and a small table to sit at, and the rest of the living area is art studio. LOL. I am getting better at tidying up after myself every few days at least, but as I move things around I forget things I had too. But finding old art supplies is just as much fun (well, almost!) as buying new ones! Cheaper, though. LOL.
Good morning, Gaynor! I love your Hayle Beach painting! That is indeed exciting news about re-doing cabin one and bringing in more light. I'm as anxious as you are to see it happen!
Don’t worry about your titanium tubes! I used to paint in the dining room, I was ill and confused, didn’t have a storage system for my painting. I had the loft converted into a studio and when I moved up there I found bags and bags of paint! Four years later I am still working away at the stockpile. Just so embarrassing. Best r
So good to see you and your wonderful artwork, Gaynor! This ocean green is my alltime favourite colour. It"s a fresh colour but at the same time it's kind of mystical (if that makes any sense). Looking forward to your next video. 🤗 Have a nice week! Mara 🎨
I love the progress you’ve made on these paintings. Love the little 8 x 8’s as well as the larger ones. I especially love how the one with the white cliffs turned out. Hi Gaynor, I need to get a stick. I love your marks with the stick, also inspired by the color pallet this week, beautiful greens and rust. Thanks again for your Thursday video, so fun. Also amazed at the dye you used for your linen jacket, wow.

It may be the brand of paint.
I have found that using a medium and barely any water for this does the trick ❤

All great replies here Jayne. I try to go for good quality boards and also use very little water. X
