I remember watching this reel long ass time ago. I loved it. RIP Kobe gone to soon
remember kobe has the most 1st team all nba DEFENSIVE selections of all time. Along with the most 1st team all nba selections ever. plus 5 rings. hes the goat. he just put so much work on his body that its giving out now. He has no cartilage in both his knees and surgeries on shooting shoulder Achilles tendon, plus injuries to his back has claves. and I remember when he dislocated his finger(s) on his shooting hand and never got surgery for it and still dropped 30 a night or more immediately afterwards shooting with pad on his index finger. Kobe has got to be the goat. Ive only been watch since 2000 or so but ive never seen anyone better. So I cant comment on mj really. Seeing his highlights he just looks like kobe with slighty more athleticism and bigger hands so I don't mind if people watching bball in the 90's see mj as the goat they would know more than me on that if they watched both kobe and mj. shaq and LeBron have different styles so its hard to compare them to kobe they were/are unbelievable players and duncans consistency is amazing throughout his career and Durant has a lot of time to rack up more success and get involved in the goat discussion (but that will take time if he does). With all that said based on all around greatness Kobe has to be the goat, of the 2000's and after, and ever besides MJ as of now. Kobe had shaq but the rest of their team was garbage and the won 3 rings. Then just gasol and a good Bynum for the last 2. even mj had pippen AND rodman or horace grant to win his 6. I know shaq might be the most dominant post player ever. but the cant surpass 2 of the top defenders of all time (pippen and rodman ALONG with another in mj in one starting line up. So my argument is Kobe for the goat. I didn't even say in 2001 they had the best playoff record ever with one loss in the playoffs in the finals in overtime to the freak AI. they went 15 and 1! in the playoffs! let me know when that happens again. and who was their 3rd best player? fisher? Robert horry? who was mj"s number 3 player! dennis rodman one of the greatest defenders ever argueably the greatest rebounder ever along with wilt and Russell!!!! I mean cmon man Kobe got to get more credit he is the goat imo! mvps are opinion. rings are fact! and the greatness shown. Kobe is the goat imo!!!!!
