Hey Biker G, great first impressions video of MotoGP 24. I know you have had a wealth of experience with the MotoGP games and I value your overview of this latest instalment of the series. I played MotoGP 23 in the early days but did not like how the bike would lift vertical when powering out of corners, so glad that now in this new release the vertical lifting has been abandoned in favour of being able to put the power down when leaning out of corners ! Awesome stuff and enjoy the new game :)
I got the game (on Steam don PC), but I have a big problem when I finish creating my character, and it tries to save, I get this message: - An error occurred during the backup process! anyone have a solution?
I'm a casual gamer but ride real bikes. One of the most annoying things for me in '23 was the difficulty braking. It was like stopping a 40 footer on ice! It slightly bugs me that they can't create a more realistic vibe in the pit box (more people, etc), and the figure (apart from the riders) look a bit naff for 2024.
@TheInfantry98 do you not think it does a poor job of simulating the braking capabilities of moto gp bikes from over 200 to, say 50 odd? Just doesn't seem to nail it for me, but everyone's different.👍
No I'm using a controller, that's just the buttons that you can hear. I think I may need a new mic as this one seems to pick up that kind of stuff for some reason
First of all I’d say the best thing to do is practice, I know it’s cliche but it does help a lot. When I was first learning I turned the ai up a few levels every time I won so that they were always challenging and I needed to improve to beat them
Wow, didn’t realise it was that expensive on Console these days. It’s certainly much better game so you’ll probably get more enjoyment out of it. Although waiting for a sale is never a bad thing
Are there any reports or news about the possibility of an update for the Playstation VR2? I really wanted to buy it, but I think it's very sad that we have the technology available and the releases weren't adapted for that.
@@BIKERGaming Milestone said something like it's more of the feeling and outcome of different power settings I think something like that. But yeah at the moment everyone is probably just using power 3.
How hard would it be to add a bit more realism to crashes? Wrecked bikes, having to try to lift your bike from the gravel (using button tapping etc), marshalls, etc. C'mon!
They did used to have the ability to run and get your bike but they removed it for some reason, the ai never did it either so you couldn't ever have it on
I'm pretty sure they've done the same in the past. So not really an issue. I mean the new bikes are coming thats just a visual aspect at that as well tbh.
Physics is very bad. For ice on the track, even using the appropriate tires. I can't stabilize the bike even on a straight track and sometimes it feels like the tires seem magnetic, they dance freely, even at low speed. The tendency is to always open too much in curves and never make a sharp turn.
Are your tyres cold if they feel like ice? I find in this game the tyres are freezing when coming out of the pits for some reason so it takes a lap or two to build temperature
@@BIKERGaming The curves improve a little after I used soft tires and activated neural steering leaving it at moderate. But the best motorcycle game so far was Ride 4, even leaving it in realistic physics, the bikes seem to have more stability, but I usually leave it in advanced physics.
I do have a pure gameplay video (no commentary) if that's the kind of video you were looking for: ua-cam.com/video/795zYhsjU5o/v-deo.html Although I'm not sure why you would click on my first impressions video and then not want to hear my first impressions 😅
Slight change of plan with Career Mode, will be later on that it’s out. The early afternoon video will just be a gameplay video

Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video!
Hope you enjoy the game as well
Great overview, thanks for sharing 👍🏻
No problem, I'm glad it was helpful!

Honestly I’ve never seen that, I play on Steam as well but I’ve not seen that issue
Maybe try deleting the save file and trying again?
That's why Nordschleife DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione is better deal today.
Depends, not many tracks I'd want to drive/ride less than the Nordschleife, not a fan personally 😅
Why can’t I get out of the first beginning challenge? Everytime I try to back out it just brings me back to the language set up and what not.
Does it have native support for Fanatec, so that you can play it in simulation mode
(as opposed to arcade)?
I'm not sure, I use a controller so I haven't tried a wheel at all
Sorry, I've been gone a while. Good to be back seeing your videos💕
Glad to have you back!

I ride as well and there is nothing wrong with the braking in moto GP 23

Definitely agree, the brakes do seem underpowered for what MotoGP bikes should have
Ar you using a steering wheel? I can hear the paddle shifters?

Apparently the power settings only affect tyre degradation
Apparently so, it does have a clear effect on the rear sliding at least
Hey i just got the game and completely new to bike games. Any tips?
First of all I’d say the best thing to do is practice, I know it’s cliche but it does help a lot. When I was first learning I turned the ai up a few levels every time I won so that they were always challenging and I needed to improve to beat them
Main question: are differences between 23 and 24 big enough to justify 69,99€ (Xbox)? 🤷🏻♂

@@BIKERGaming I couldn't wait and to be honest - I'm not disappointed. It's MUCH better than 23 to my mind, I enjoy it A LOT! 🙂
Are you using Xbox controller on your PC
Yep, using an Xbox Series Controller
Are there any reports or news about the possibility of an update for the Playstation VR2?
I really wanted to buy it, but I think it's very sad that we have the technology available and the releases weren't adapted for that.
I honestly haven't seen, it may be worth asking on the Official MotoGP Game Discord Server
There is no running out fuel in a race btw. You will still finish in all of the power settings.
Oh, so that literally defeats the purpose of having power settings?
@@BIKERGaming Milestone said something like it's more of the feeling and outcome of different power settings I think something like that. But yeah at the moment everyone is probably just using power 3.
@epy8854 Yeah you would imagine it’s the only thing people will use as it was much faster in the previous games to use it
Wait what? I haven't done a race yet as I just got the game, but you can run out of fuel in time trials but not races? That's wild.
You can run out if you take fuel out of the bike but generally you can just stay in Power 3 and never run out
How hard would it be to add a bit more realism to crashes? Wrecked bikes, having to try to lift your bike from the gravel (using button tapping etc), marshalls, etc. C'mon!
It would mean a lot of folk spending most of the game trying to fish their bike
out of the gravel as opposed to racing it...and give up.
They did used to have the ability to run and get your bike but they removed it for some reason, the ai never did it either so you couldn't ever have it on
LETSSSGOOO!! 🔥🔥🔥
As I see Milestone lazy again and didn't updated the bike models. Looks like a DLC for 23. What a shame
Apparently the new bike models will come next week, quite why they don’t just release the game a week later at that point I’m not sure
well, as a game that released annually, it's not shocking at all
I'm pretty sure they've done the same in the past. So not really an issue. I mean the new bikes are coming thats just a visual aspect at that as well tbh.
If you think that's the case, you haven't played any motogp games before, they have done it several times already.

Its an improvement on 23, but is it an improvement on 22?
Yes definitely
Where the new aero
Currently the game has last years bike models, this will be updated next week apparently
looks so silly... sounds silly.. looks like the bike is made to die on too so wobbly.. fuck that game
please stop talking nonstop
Why are you even here if you want him not to talk nonstop?
