In the 60's I played in an orchestra and this music brings back so many memories. There are no superior instruments, in my opinion than the brass section! Played baritone, trumpet,, and French horn. The best years of my life and I'm now 71!

I always find it a bit sad that the brass often don't play that much in classical music. My brother plays trombone and in some pieces of music he doesn't play for ages. Brass just has so much sound! I myself am a fan of nearly every orchestral music, and I like it that there's people with similar interests here, even though you seem to be a few decades older than me (I'm only thirteen)
@@durina6396 As a former professional trombonist i can really relate to your comment. The worst example i can think of is Beethoven's 5th symphony. I had to sit all the way through the first 3 movements and then the very first note of the last movement is a high C! 😐

Still some of the best heroic music out there. I love listening to it while conquering the world in Bannerlords or some 4x history based game like Civ or Grand Strategy like Crusader Kings.

I recommend you guys listen to Thomas' personal albums, like Sun, Miracles, Illusions and Humanity. Those have my favourites like Made of Air, Aura, Creation of Earth, Rada, Orbital and so much more

Listening to this while designing trusses. Opened the window to see the name of the 5th song and noticed the image changed. Hovered over the first few songs and see they have a different image as well, appreciate it.

This is a great selection of tracks! With the amount of great music created by Two Steps from Hell, 36 tracks means several really good ones will be left out (I don't think even 50 would be enough to not leave out a few great tracks). For me, the ones I missed most here were Dragon Rider, United We Stand - Divided we Fall, and Compass (the version with Merethe Soltvedt), but there are definitely others as well.
Thx a lot TSFH and Thomas Bergersen for this epic music. A great help to keep going forward when everything is hard in life, or after my recent breakup..... As this song at 32:32, NEVER BACK DOWN.

That one is so old and it's the one song that got me into Thomas Bergersen's music. It was a video of a fireworks show on facebook. Doubt I can find it now but I'm like what is this song and found out the name and artist and it pretty much took off from there. Got a couple other artists but so far a lot of my epic genre music is mostly Thomas Bergersen.

@@commandercody38 I can suggest having a look into "Epic Music World" too, its a great label and it creates music similar to TSFH but also more calmer and beautiful songs which I personally refer to as "Post Epic Music" because they have the vibe of a field in a sunrise after a huge battle where flowers start to bloom again

Dragon rider is a great work out song. about half way in when you want to quit it starts and the whole rest of the work out is dominated.

Indeed he is, the so many songs he has composed that I like. Songs like, Secret melody, Impossible, Unbreakable, Evergreen, Victory. Those are just some of my favourite.
Some of my favorites on this list, others were left off but I can't argue at all with the song choice. Loved that it started with the first TSFH song I knowingly heard too.
