Another banger. I sometimes wonder how UA-camrs can still make this great content keep it up ❤
Thanks, means a lot to hear!
@@SomeBoiOnlineYOU PINNED ME OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH
It would be hilarious if Lenny Henry does his Wallace Impression in the new movie. I know this is an extreme long shot but imagine if the gnomes or whatever antagonist this would fit managed to "sound like Wallace" and it was just the Lenny Henry Wallace voice. Like it's so fake but people in universe still fall for it, at least initially.
A mate of mine came up with exactly the same concept, would be crazy if they went out of their way to actually do it 😂
I think he only had 1 line in the new movie?
I think so yeah, it wasn't that much of a role after all!
It’s nice hearing someone actually mention Wallace and gromit’s thrill-o-matic for once. Might be a bit biased here as a theme park enthusiast but I think that ride should be mentioned much more than it is
It was a great time researching it and finding out that Peter Kay had made a few visits!
Thank God Wallace and Gromit costumes have come a long way since the Lenny Henry ones.
Yes 😂
Why would it even occur to you to make a video on this subject? Because my friend, you're a bloody genius.
Cheers! 😂
I met the cruse mascot at the wrong trousers Orchestra performance and I have to admit even I got quite confused on why Wallace was carrying Gromit
Imagine if all we had of The Right Trousers were the type of pictures we have for the stageplay, staged to look extra creepy. I don't dare to think of it
Funnily enough, I don't think there's a single behind the scenes photograph of The Right Trousers, so we wouldn't have a clue it existed if it wasn't for the film itself!
@SomeBoiOnline There's definitely another universe where you're and by extension us, obsessed with The Right Trousers as a piece of lost media
babe wake up
new some boi online video is up
😂😂
Love the gromit mugs display in the background, now you can impressed anyone lol, nice video as usual.
Thanks, glad you're a fan!
Nice video 🧡
The live action humans on stage would frighten me in my dreams 😩
The fluffy ones are more my cup of tea with the right teeth and in proportion. ☺️
Thanks, I think most would agree 😅
Jordans research never fails to impress
Thank you 😊
Wallace and gromit inspired a whole generation of stop motion
Definitely!
The moment I saw “Wallace and Gromit Costumes” in the title I knew the Lenny Henry sketch would appear and braced myself, like a lot.
😂😂
Im so excited for the upcoming W&G movie. Its gonna be a fever dream seeing the penguin returning. Hopefully they use all the factors that made him so terrifying again to create new, horrifying memories for future generations 😂
Exactly, really hoping they pull it off!
@@SomeBoiOnline I have much hope, too! Aardman never disappoints!
Feathers in a Grand Night Out looks horrifying
😂
Good to see that over time the costumes improved; but as for films and media, the only way IS clay👈
Absolutely!
Oddly enough at 3:40 I met the mascots for a Christmas Light Switch On but not sure if it was archived or not.
i find it interesting how alot of the time, people seem to portray gromit with his red spiked collor, he didnt even wear the thing for more then 5 minutes i think??
9:25 kermit looks like a Italian mob boss or kingpin as an Amphibian
Yeah the unconventionally white suit doesn't help either 😅
Terrifying stuff!
This is a bit random but can you do a video on the Wallace and gromit flavoured Tyrrells
Sending this to my friend lol
Much appreciated!
Nobody else has mentioned this, and it's a little off topic, but I kind of feel like the newest clay models of Wallace & Gromit for Vengeance Most Foul look quite different from their last/ most recent appearances. It could be either because of the Aardman fire, or because of this new clay Aardman now use. (I don't rlly have much knowledge with the clay situation so I'm not too sure whether it's different clay or the same). Idk, I just think that they look more smoother or something 😂 That's not a bad thing tho 😊
Also I love this video!! I still can't quite get over the fact that Lenny Henry is gonna be in the new film 💀 I NEED to see who he's playing and how he sounds lol I can't wait for the trailer to drop 🙏🏻
Thanks! I think with every film the models have looked slightly more polished. Of course you don't want to make them too smooth, as that would defeat the point of them being claymation, but at the moment I can't see a huge difference from their appearance in "A Matter of Loaf and Death".
@@SomeBoiOnline You're welcome ^^ And oh, really? To me they look a little different compared to that film 😂 But like I said, it isn't a negative thing, it's just something I noticed :)
You're probably right in that the type of clay used has changed, we'll have to see how noticeable it is In the final film.
Something i've noticed is Wallace's head doesn't seem as big, his forehead isn't as tall as it is in the earlier stuff, it's more in proportion i suppose haha. I think part of what can make them look polished is the fact that we used to see them on film, either in the actual shorts or photoshoots, so the colour was more desaturated and grainy as opposed to the more saturated look since the switchover to digital. I love the film look, it adds to the rawness of stop motion and adds to the perfect recipe for W&G in my eyes, shame that the film industry moved away from it.
I found a Wallace custom on eBay it claims it’s a prop and it looks pretty legit but it doesn’t look like any of the costumes you showed in this video so I’m not sure if it’s a real costume or a fake.
The right trousers is weird
That's being generous 😂
If I saw that as a kid, I wouldn’t have slept for days. I was already horrified by robot Preston and the sentient Cooker, I didn’t need live action Wallace & Gromit.
I hope that Airbnb make Wallace and Gromit's house real!
Your the goat
🐐
The modern costumes look the best also Wallace and Gromit met King Charles
Aardman should continue making Wallace and Gromit films - they represent the way productions used to be made - with care and effort and no political propaganda or forced messaging! Hopefully Aardman dont sell their ideas out! The fact they take so long to make their W and G feature length films shows the great care made into them which is probably a good thing!
True, but it's just not the same and I feel disrespectful without Peter Sallis who during his life was prominent for voicing Wallace. Perhaps, if voice recordings were used from the archives?
I’ve seen a lot of good YTPs that mix Sallis’ voice, so I’m sure with the right technology they could use archive recordings. Ben Whitehead is a decent replacement though.
its like they are putting things from every film and everything to do with wag in the film will fluffles or shaun return maybe the cooker after getting a feathers plush i cannot wait and with gavin and stacey back as well looks like i will enjoy christmas for once maybe a timmy time and shaun crossover with wag
They do seem to be making a lot of references to past films so far, will be interesting to see how it goes!
@@SomeBoiOnline i should make a list of wag referances in films
@@SomeBoiOnline miriam margoyales who i think was in doctor who was in the shaun the sheep film and the big fix up
I honest to God remember seeing the Wallace and Gromit A Grand Night Out stage show in the Grand Theatre in Leeds when I was a kid, and I'm not exaggerating, my dad was given the lord mayoral chains which Feathers McGraw stole from him! Although I could have sworn it wasn't in 1997. I thought it was in 1995 or 1996. I dunno, it's been a long while
Wow, that's incredible! Such a unique memory that not many people will share.
@SomeBoiOnline The only moments I recall from it was when Gromit shoved some newspaper into Shaun's mouth to shut him up and everyone thought it was funny, as well as the train chase recreation, and when Feathers stole the lord mayoral chains from my dad and Gromit retrieved them in the end
I kind of like the small Gromit
sacred
I for one am a big fan of the small gromit
