I was going to have an afternoon tea at that hotel, but had to cancel at the last minute. Everything looked amazing! My only gripe would be having the meal in a foyer/lobby, instead of a dedicated dining room, just because of the amount of people walking through & checking in etc.

Do you live in London part time, Dallas? i so envy you! And could I make just one gentle suggestion? I find the music in the background distracting (a bit of sensory overload, for me at least) when I'm trying to concentrate on what you're saying. Personally, just your voice and the natural background hubbub is enough. But otherwise, you've done some very nice videos and i appreciate them.

How does this compare to the other more expensive 5 star hotels like the ritz or Fortnum?
Welcome to Wanderland! I belive this gave me everything the more expensive teas do but without the pretentiousness of what one would expect. I love mid range teas as they seem to try harder and achieve sometimes more than the popular afternoon teas do.
Please do an episode at the Windsor Court Hotel Afternoon Tea in New Orleans. They have the most delicious scones, lemon curd and Oolong tea. The harpist elevates the auditory experience as your gaze out on to the lovely garden with water fountain.

The sweets presentation is not on par with many of other places you had tea this year. Let's hope they are delicios. I am aware that the price of the tea service here a third of many other places. I wonder what did you truly think of the English rabbit juice? I have no trust in English cousine, based on years of business travel to UK and first hand experience.
